This is a fraud. Not a professional massage place but highly suspect happy ending store. Forced me to pay tips on terrible massage.

As always, we made an appointment for Laura to give hubby his deep tissue massage…read more Unfortunately, my girl SoFi no longer works there -- RIP to my massage routine -- so I had to try someone new named Willow. And let me just say... Willow is HANDS DOWN the best out of the three therapists I've tried here. I felt the most relaxed I've ever felt, and she somehow found every single spot that needed attention without me even saying much. It was like she read my stress levels telepathically. She was gentle but effective, really intentional with her movements, and made sure I was fully relaxed the entire time. No rushed feeling, no "are we done already?" -- just pure melt-into-the-table energy. My 60-minute massage was $55, and hubby's 60-minute deep tissue with Laura was $60 -- which is honestly such a steal for how good we felt walking out. There is truly no better way to end a long work week than with a Friday massage. We floated out of there like two stress-free marshmallows. Definitely a must-try spot if you need to reset your life (or your shoulders). We'll absolutely be back.

That said let's begin this review. ;D Ace Spa is a small peaceful and calming massage place. They're located in a small plaza on Las Tunas Dr. in Temple city. After doing my diligent search in finding the best massage spa in town I finally found the one that has good reputation. I came early evening as a walk-in at Ace Spa; from the outside it looks bloody modest like most of Asian spa in SGV. I was in dire need to alleviate my thicc back particularly the lower back. I asked for a basic body (1hr./$55) massage and was escorted to one of their dim lit rooms. My female masseus (WeiWei) was exceptionally skilled and professional. There I was getting ready and watching the bloody clock like a marathon runner. Her massage techniques (Deep tissue) were fantastic and hits every muscles of my body. She communicated well throughout our session and was lovely and fun to work with. Therefore, I tipped her significantly. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. And I felt genuinely cared for from beginning to end. All my muscle soreness was gone. I highly recommend AS.

My masseuse was welcoming and I was fine with her shyness since her English wasn't great, but we had a basic conversation during the massage. She was nice but didn't put much strength behind the massage. I guess that's my fault for not speaking up, but I also wasn't asked if the pressure is sufficient. I mentioned several times that my neck needed a lot of attention. While she did kind of focus on it she didn't actually work on the knots and I felt like she brought the pain to the surface but didn't resolve it (I don't think that makes sense, but I mean that as it wasn't an effective massage for the problem area I came for). My calves and ankles got more time and action (and were not sore) even though I kept pointing out how much my neck was tight and painful. When I left the table, sure, I felt somewhat relaxed, but rather I was reminded of areas that had pain without being given proper pressure on them. Am I supposed to buy a 2-hour massage to feel the relief? When it came to tip, I didn't have much cash on me, but her colleague pressured me to tip with card-- $20 on a $72 (the original price was increased by $2 because I used card). The $14 that I originally offered wasn't enough apparently because "90 minutes is a long time". So why do I not feel as relaxed as other massage sessions? Unfortunately, not going back.
