First time getting a professional massage and I'm pleased. I was initially given a form by a woman named April. The form included my preferred level of intensity (light, medium and hard). April mentioned that in any point of the massage that I may request a change in pressure if I feel necessary. April was very polite and fun to talk to. The massage was thorough and relaxing, to the point where I almost fell asleep. The massage was for an hour and was fully body. When it ended, I actually felt as if I lost weight. Lastly, I was given a cup of water and was greeted out. I recommend Relaxation Wellness Massage but only suggest calling at the right times as the hours can be tricky. read more

I'm not one for massages, since I'm quite ticklish and i feel kinda weird with a stranger touching me all over. this is my first "real" massage at what i would consider a "real" massage spa- my only other full body massage was in a huge massage chair at sharper image at great mall... anyway, i received this massage as a gift- my sweetie purchased two massage deals from the local paper, and i decided to use my massage today, the start of labor day weekend! because this massage was a gift, i have no idea whether her rates are average compared to other massage spas. April was easy to contact and arrange an appointment with. she says she offers therapeutic massage either at the office or at home, and i arrange to come into her office. April went on to explain to me that she does various massages like shiatsu (sp?) and deep tissues and swedish and stuff. she tells me that she offers hot stone massage as well, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to try that out yet. i think this establishment is run by a single owner. there is a small office and waiting room, and rear massage area is in the rear and is cozy. the therapist was very friendly and professional. she had me fill out quite a bit of paperwork and asked what areas i wanted to focus on. i tell her that i simply wanted to relax- I'm not familiar with deep tissue or shiatsu, so i cant really comment on that. i think she said she applied swedish techniques on me. do you remember when i said i was very ticklish? well, after awhile, i couldn't relax because i was trying not to burst out laughing. she tells me that it is a natural response for many, especially their first time, and suggested that maybe i was nervous. in the end, i ask her to focus on my shoulders and legs because they were quite sore from working out a week ago, and that really helped. overall, i was quite satisfied with her services, and i would consider going back again next time. I'm not sure if i can work myself up to the full body massage again since I'm so sensitive it seems, but i would definitely come back and have my shoulders and calves worked on again. i told my sweetie of my experience here, and she is excited to come in for her massage next weekend too! thanks 'gain april! read more

April was very comforting and put us both at ease. She and her partner (I didn't catch her name) were extremely professional, and really made our first experience a great one. April is the best!!!! I love to pamper myself when i get the opportunity and have tried several massage therapist and by far April is the best. I have been a faithful client to her for the last 2 years. I cant think of a better way to release stress and relax. She caters to your needs and knows how to make you feel comfortable. She is very flexible with hours and schedules. My daughter has scoliosis and needed treatment to release some lower back pain so I took her to see April as well. My daughter was really scared of pain and being uncomfortable with the stranger. April was excellent with her care. She adores April and always enjoy her care when we go there. The office is professional. On Thursday's April is the only one in the office. April is knowledgeable and informative. She has a calming presence. Could never set an appointment after trying to get in contact over a span of probably two months but luckily groupon gave me my money back so that I can take my business elsewhere. read more

I had purchased a groupon certificate months ago from Relaxation Wellness Massage and am now a regular. April is very good and will make you feel at ease. A couple of months ago, I had a issue with my Sciatic Nerve and I had mentioned it to April. She spent some extra time on my back and legs to work out the problem. It helped tremendously and I have not had any more problems. I highly recommend her and the price is reasonable. read more

I would have marked a negative number if i could have. I purchased a double massage from groupon. She had made an appt. With me through text. I cofirmed a day and time. I show up 15 minutes early to a locked office. Finally being let in a few minutes before my appt by another person who is the dr. of the office. He was very nice. He calls April after 15 minutes. He explains to her im there abd she asked to speaks to me. Then asked if we had an appt.She did not even remember making an appt. She finally shows over 30 minutes later. The massage was so so. But it was the first time. I make my second appt per my groupon. Again I show up for my appt and again she is not there. Again the man texts her no answer then he calls her. The man explains that im there. Again Shows up 30 minutes late complaining about traffic. I explained thats why I leave early for appts. The massage the second time was aweful and the The room was freezing cold. No heat at all of any kind. read more

I love this place. April's the therapist, is wonderful. I have been going to her for the past 2 years, on a regular base. I have Arthritic/pain, from head to toe and she always get the kinks out. The atmosphere is soothing with the sounds of Nature, the place always smell great like spices, lavander, roses, and ocean spring mist. I like the room warm. It's always perfectly warm.
