So I had the most awesome hair dresser ever in the world, but she moved across the country. :( it took me a long time to find someone I trusted. Your hair is very personal and just not anyone can cut it. So I went to my community and Asked for help. So because of many recommendations I finally got the nerve to have Holly at Relax cut my hair!!!! It was my very first visit to the salon. I was nervous, but Holly did a great job listening to what I wanted, offered up advice and even took advice from the owner of the shop. The end result a awesome hair cut!!! I love it!!!! They were all so friendly there and they knew what they were doing! They front counter girl was very friendly, caring and even asked if I wanted something to drink. She even kept me informed when my hair dresser was running a few mins behind. Which I didn't mind cause there was a lot of cool things in the shop to look at, such as jewelry, hats, bags etc... I felt very comfortable there. There was comfy chairs to sit in and lots to read. This was not a high pressure sales place either. They didn't try to get me to buy a million products that I didn't need. But did tell me the names of the products they used in my hair just incase. I have tried a few hair salons in the Conifer area and this is the only one that I have gone back to. After 3 years of Just OK hair cuts, I am so happy that I have finally found my salon! I recently changed hair colors (a huge step for me since I have had my natural hair color for years) and I am SO happy that I trusted Relax with the change! I absolutely love my hair and couldn't be happier. All of the stylists at Relax are great and it is reasonably priced. I absolutely LOVE this salon. As a Conifer resident, I thought I had to go all the way into Denver to get premium professional service, boy was I wrong. I decided to try Relax after I read all the awesome reviews and I am so glad I did. Angela is a miracle worker. The salon is super relaxed and gorgeous. There are NO high-pressure sales tactics. The scalp massage and hot towel are always a wonderful part of the experience and the women in this salon are highly trained and go out of their way to make it a first-class experience from when you walk in the door to when you leave the salon. Read all the great reviews about the salon and thought I'd give it a shot. Went in to get my hair colored, and when explaining the coloring to the owner she didn't listen and had her own idea for my hair. They gave me a partial highlight even though that's not what I wanted and I left disgruntled. I decided to call later to explain how I was unsatisfied and a different stylist said she would make everything right again with no charge, which was great considering the money I had already spent. I am much happier after my second trip, but wish they had gotten it right the first time. Jordan is so sweet, and I'm grateful she was understanding and helpful during my second visit! read more
