The Good:
:: it's off the beaten path, so it's far from noise and crowds!
:: service cannot be beaten. the people at the service desk were always so pleasant, professional, cheerful, courteous, and attentive. didn't matter if it was late at night or early in the morning.
:: when you check out, they give you a little bottle of olive oil they make at their olive oil farms! so precious
:: the rooms are very clean and comfortable
:: big windows to open up for fresh air, especially when the weather is nice out
:: free wifi was solid and reliable
:: free water and sodas waiting for you in the fridge on the first day you check in!
:: nice clean bathroom with a bidet as well!
:: free breakfast in the morning that's included in your stay! you can even take it outside to sit in the backyard.
:: elevator for those of you staying on higher floors
:: close to main streets, so finding restaurants and such is easy
The Bad:
:: depending on where you need to go, it may or may not be easy. public transportation in Rome leaves a lot to be desired (e.g., buses run late or don't show up at all, not enough metro/subway stops). keep that in mind and leave a lot of time to find alternatives if you are pressed for time!
The Ugly:
:: none
Would I go back? Most definitely will! Loved that it was so quiet and in a local neighborhood instead of in the heart of loud, crazy, and busy Rome. After a long day of sightseeing, nothing beats coming back to a room that's nice and cool and clean. :)
