I recently had surgery for a basal cell carcinoma . The procedure was done by Dr. Matt Hughes, assisted by his nurse (Belen?). I can't say enough about the fantastic work that they both performed from start to finish. They made me feel very comfortable and explained everything that was going to be done during the whole procedure, which only took about an hour long. I can honestly say that I felt no pain whatsoever and didn't even have to take any pain killers afterwards. I would have no hesitation on recommending them to any prospective patient. I had a referral to their GP for a toenail fungus issue. They assured me that it would be appropriate for their doctor to treat my father. In the end, they said it was more of a podiatry issue AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A REFERRAL! They have many elderly patients for whom they waste time like they wasted my father's time and considerable effort to see the doc in person. They want AHS money and they drag people in just for the fees and don't provide any meaningful service. read more

VERY disappointed with this clinic! I literally just TODAY received a call from a May 2025 referral my doctor submitted! Needless to say, I had given up on them within a few weeks and moved on to another clinic. As it turned out, I had Stage 3 Invasive Melanoma. I had surgery in August and have already been through a series of follow up tests. Fortunately, I have come through this whole journey ok. But certainly no thanks whatsoever to Rejuvenation! Their booking system is not geared to the patient but rather to the almighty dollar. The only good thing to say is that the photo therapy appointment system works great. They have no consideration for patients time. Waiting longer than an hour for your scheduled appointment is ridiculous. However if you don't show up for your appointment they will charge you $50.00. The front staff are a joke. They act like they're stuck up beauty queens. Beauty queens they are not! They are not friendly whatsoever! They act like they own the clinic at minimum wage salaries. Yes those kind of people! I witnessed two of the girls discussing a patient and not wanting to help him come to the room. Why who knows? They act like they're above patients. Samantha, as an office manager you should be ashamed of yourself for having such disregard for childish/high school behaviour by the staff in the front. They are racist, gossipy, immature and just a bunch of clowns that don't represent a so-called professional office. Especially with their tacky over the top makeup, eyelashes and duck lips. But maybe they have you there as their token coloured women. And this is certainly not a professional office. I come from a family of doctors, specialized doctors at that, and I can honestly say that, that behaviour would never been accepted. Terrible service! I'll never be back. I don't recommend this place or the doctor. Because at the end of the day the buck stops at the top. Sorry Dr. Kuzel, you need to really take a look at how you manage your staff and your time. For all the patients out there, you have options. 1. Dr. Dawes is excellent, wonderful bedside matter. He is not a dermatologist (Plastic Surgeon) but he is trained in cancerous skin problems. His staff is exceptionally! And you never wait more than 5 minutes. 2. It's cheaper to go over the border to see a dermatologist than you might think. I paid $200 in Santa Monica to see Dr. Batra. I was in immediately and she gave me free sunscreen. These doctors in Alberta do not care about your time or well-being. If they did they would respect our time, and not staff their offices with a bunch of bratty clowns. I will be starting a referral group to American and Lithuanian doctors that are well trained and affordable. Watch for me. read more

The staff were very efficient and friendly and as I dove home I was filled with deep gratitude that I received such amazing care by Paul and his staff. Both South and North clinics have the most unprofessional receptionists. If you question them regarding waiting times despite the appointment timeline, they become extremely rude and out of line. They have no respect for the patients. The patients to them are a bag of money and nothing more. The doctors are the same. No professionalism and real knowledge. They try to drag you there as many times as possible with many excuses with no respect for your health. They just offer you their other most expensive procedures which they cannot even guarantee. Dr. Paul Kuzel is an exceptional dermatologist and person! He put me at ease by diagnosing a growth on my thigh that showed up two weeks ago. It took him less than a minute to identify it as non-cancerous. He then did his usual marvelous application of Botox and filler on my face. Dr. Kuzel truly cares about people and displays empathy and emotional intelligence at a very high level. I always get compliments on my appearance after Dr. Kuzel's cosmetic dermatology mastery and this is wonderful since I am a senior. Dr. Kuzel is a 10+ star dermatologist. read more

I went to the North location in Country Hills . I waited for 40 minutes to get my leg checked for skinn rash. Dr. Guo came in and spent 2 minutes looking at my leg. diagnosed and said I need several treatments . didn't answer question, why one leg, other ssues and concerns I had. He focused on my covered face and went into elaborate details on how i need skin peels, etc. He left so his nurse can sell me on treatments. Not a Dr. to go to usless you want cosmetic treatments. Find a dermatologist who cares more about cancer prevention than preying on the insecurities of young girls. I was kept waiting, again, for my annual mole check. Dr Paul Kuzal left me waiting for 45minutes, no apology, in a room with a big tv advertising all the fillers and Botox he injects into girls in their 20s. It was sad to see before and afters of such young girls who look perfectly beautiful in their before photos. I don't feel this is something a real, caring Dr would do. I walked out and won't return. It is a waste of my time and my appointment last year was hesitant and not thorough compared to the previous Dr. I'll find a better clinic. read more

Stay away from this place! Their receptionists are the epitome of unprofessionalism. I had an appointment scheduled, and didn't confirm it due to circumstances beyond my control. When I tried to explain this to them, they still demanded a ridiculous no-show fee 50$ despite their no-show policy is only about confirmed appointments only. To make matters worse, the receptionist tried to blackmailed me, threatening to cancel my entire treatment if I didn't pay their insanely high 50$, just think if they are willing to cancel the entire treatment for 50$, how greedy they must be. Horrible customer service and a complete lack of empathy. Avoid at all costs. I was shocked to see the number of negative reviews about the receptionists and appointments, yet the company appears to be turning a blind eye to the problem. After a meet and greet and exam by Dr. Kuzel, nurse Hannah M. took over my treatment. She was friendly and efficient and explained ever step so I felt completely at ease with the procedures. She really knows her stuff and made my nervousness go away as she quickly and painlessly removed my moles. Great experience with her. Nice to be in such competent hands and each one has been a positive experience. This was my third visit and wait times are always reasonable. Medical facilities sometimes run late if other patients need extra time. Fact of life! The Clinic is a beautiful place and very clean. Staff are very pleasant and the greetings are warm and sincere. 1.I had an appointment which was never confirmed, though the receptionist insisted an email of confirmation was sent;' check your junk mail' the receptionist told me! WTF? They couldn't even call my home. 2. While waiting no tea, coffee or beverage was offered. My 1 hour procedure of Thermage was costing me $1500 BTW (a discount from the regular $1700 - Special in April)! There is absolutely nothing to read while you wait only brochures of what the clinic has to offer. Hey, want to donate your used magazines to the clinic - guess they can't afford any! 3. An assistant called my name, noticed I had not paid the balance and informed me that it was necessary to proceed. Okay, I get that one. Pay and return to reception once again. 4. Another assistant proceeded to take me to a 'room' to await Dr. Campbell but when she opened the door she quickly closed it (have no idea why) but stated the room was not ready? another WTF So I get seated in another waiting area. Get called again and brought to another room...starting to feel like a rat in a maze! 5. 2 assistants return, one fumbles with the camera to take several photos while the other gets me to read over & sign a release form. Witness to my signature - NOT! They leave me in the room wondering what's next?!! Back to the common waiting room. 6. I'm called back to another room to await Dr. Campbell, who I thought was going to do the procedure but I am grossly mistaken. She comes in the room, reads my chart, looks at my face, makes more notes, tells me there's a new machine for Thermage which is wonderful, no discomfort, she's had this procedure 5 times and thanks the Lord because the discomfort will be now almost nonexistent. She leaves never to be seen again. 7. An assistant returns, takes me to the waiting room to..you guessed it...wait. 8. An assistant calls my name and I get set up in a room, told it's okay to leave my shirt on (??), no sheet is provided (I had to ask), the machine is not working correctly (some sort of chemical container is almost empty), no supplies for the procedure in room, assistant has to leave room to get them, a lot of fumbling going on, the procedure is not pain free folks but bearable enough. A nice enough gal doing the procedure but I'm wondering did she really know what the heck she was doing? (sob, can I have my $$ back I'm thinking at this point) 9. When I'm finished there are no 'take home' instructions given to me, nothing offered (I had to ask), no products given (hey, I get freebies after facials FCOL), no indication of a follow up, ZIPPO no Dr. Campbell in sight. I left feeling like I was only a pay cheque for this clinic and very disappointed that one is handed over to assistants for treatments with no guarantees that they know what they are doing!! Personally, I would be hard pressed to return there or recommend the clinic to anyone. Several friends were curious about this clinic and, of course, you can assume they will never step foot into Dr. Campbell's office. read more

I was originally a client of Dr. Campbell and was very pleased with her and her services. All of my dermatology appointments were necessary due to previous sun damage. Since Dr. Kusel took over the clinic, my results have been nothing as promised. He does very little of the services himself. He passes my skin issues off to others, each having little experience. On FIVE separate painful and expensive treatments, he has left me with unnecessary scarring...offering no excuses!...no explanations!...no apologies! I had ten stitches incorrectly performed on Sept. 4, 2019. It has been two months, a dozen boxes of large bandaids, daily applications of a special antibacterial cream and I still have a huge, open, oozing wound on my leg! I feel obligated to share these horrific experiences to prevent others from suffering the same! I will never go back! read more

I have now been going to this clinic for over two years and have nothing but great things to say about the team here. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, especially Laura ( she is so lovely and you can tell she is very passionate about what she does.) Once you get in the treatment room with Melissa ( one of the nurse injectors) she is so personable and professional and has an eye for the perfect aesthetic. I usually get Botox, and she is gentle and precise, makes recommendations and has actually denied me because she thought it would be too heavy of a look if she used more. I really appreciate that, because it made me feel like she really cared about me and the work she was putting out there. I also had my lips done once and it was a wonderful experience and loved the outcome. If you are looking for a clinic that is clean, professional and has Dr's and Nurses who are passionate about what they do, then you have to check this place out! I was sent to this clinic by my doctor because I had a small angioma on my chin (for years) and over the last year or so it started rupturing and bleeding profusely every 1-2 months (sorry if this is TMI). I was getting concerned so went to my doctor who referred me here. When I arrived, I didn't wait long and was moved to the doctor's room where I waited for less than 5 minutes and a nurse came in and was asking me all of these questions and I answered them. A minute or so later the doctor comes in, barely introduces himself and takes a look at my chin and says that it is either cancer or a cherry angioma. This took me aback because my mind did not venture anywhere near the topic of cancer. He said that the nurse was going to take a sample (she did a great job) and send it out to their lab and it would come back in the next two weeks. He then asked me if I am using/taking anything for my acne. I looked at him and said "No?" with a quizzical expression (because I didn't have acne... my face had a red spot on my cheek from a pimple I had about 4 days prior but that was it). He then gets his nurse to write me a prescription for acne and left, without saying a word. My review is not so good purely because of his bedside manner; it was complete garbage. I could see that all he cared about was my money for acne cream... seriously? The nurse gave me the prescription and I said that I don't want it and she said to take it in case I changed my mind. I just said okay and then threw it out when I got home. I have never had any cosmetic surgery of any kind and I am sure they are great at what they do but I came in because of a health issue, not a beauty issue. I could care less about the little red dot on my chin (until it became an issue of course). When I was told that it might be cancer that was very upsetting. To have the news brushed off and segued into a sale for acne cream was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I will never go back here again. He did not say the chances of it being cancer were high or low, just that it might be so. read more

I have been to many other clinics and also been a patient and used many services at this clinic. Very happy, hence have to post. This clinic is phenomenal. Dr Kuzel cares about your skin (what you most want in a dermatologist after all), Vicki the medical esthetician educates and tells you what to watch for as she successfully treats. Even the front desk personnel, nurses who poke you and the personnel who take your money at the end treat you well:) Efficient, with my full time schedule and their flexible hours (inc Saturdays), this professional clinic is convenient. I have also brought my teens (acne, bug bite irritation and scars, etc) here who were skeptical at first and happy they listened to mom and joined along:) Many services used for many years (also with Dr Woo and Dr Campbell) and will return. read more

I have been seeing the previous owner Dr. Woo for more than a year at Calgary location, excellent practice and now Dr. Paul Kuzel bought this business. I am mindfully calling it as a business because he is not practicing it as professional way. You can always expect 2 hour wait time (patient's time does not matter). Would not spend more than 2 min. and I asked a simple question that "do you treat mole kind stuff for my son so I can book an appointment?" he just replied yes and asked the girl to charge the government for my son's visit too. I USED to come to this clinic for laser hair removal. So this is what my review will be focused on. I do know they offer several other treatments for skin enhancement but never had them done here. First off, their front desk staff is replaced more often than Wal-Mart employees, no offence Wal-Mart. So if you do go for your 4-6 week laser treatments at those intervals, you will most likely not have the same receptionist booking your next appointment. Their main office staff, however, have been there for the time that I attended the clinic. The technician that did my treatments suddenly left, and I really liked her but NO ONE was allowed to disclose where she had moved to...I got the feeling she got canned. The next tech that proceeded to work on me did not set the laser right and therefore got a crappy procedure done. I could feel it did not feel right as she pulsed my skin, and accordingly, when I got home, my skin was red and swollen-for days, in fact I had some hypo-pigmentation occur. I do not know whether she was qualified to use the laser or just didn't read my prior techs comments but when I came back regarding my burnt skin, all they did was try to get me to book an appointment for some other treatment and a round of mircoderm to fix the damage that THEY did and push this skin lightening cream in the interim that the Doctors there formulated. At $37 per oz for something I did not know how my skin would react to, I left and never came back. I did meet with Dr. Campbell for 1 consultation regarding the damage to my skin, and the pre-laser evaluation. She is very knowledgeable and professional however, I did not see any results that I was happy with. $3,000 later and very minimal hair removal that grew back within the year really did not sit well with me. Sometimes the wait times were atrocious, even with an appointment. No coffee, or tea offered if you have to wait so that is unusual considering how much money this place makes and come to think of it, no magazines to leaf through. I would not recommend this clinic for laser hair removal when many salons offer it as well for way cheaper, in fact you can even purchase home diode lasers on line for the price of 2 treatments here with about the same results. This office is most unusual. making money is the bottom line. First of all, privacy is not considered, you must wait in group waiting rooms between procedures. It is very uncomfortable, as you are sitting with three to four other women that are waiting in various procedure stages. And why weren't you allowed to wait in the privacy of your exam room. Because more clients can be done per hour. The front desk staff as already stated are never the same, and training seem to not be considered. This is a top down thing. They finally moved the business office out of the front room, so there is at least some privacy. Dr. Campbell has a fantastic background and probably is a very good dermatologist, but she found that there is more money in the beauty business. A patient must have confidence in the services rendered and this office does not convey alot of confidence. read more

I (used to) visit the Laser Rejuvenation Clinic and Spa to see Dr. Campbell for my acne treatments. Dr. Campbell is fantastic - she's friendly, knowledgeable, and I truly felt that she wanted to help me get my skin looking its best. She is fantastic. Unfortunately, a few months ago, she decided to drop her dermatology practice down to a few hours a week, so I was transferred to another doctor - Dr. Semaka. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS. Dr. Semaka has absolutely no idea what she is talking about. She is socially awkward, no bedside manner, and will barely look you in the eye. She will never remember a patient - she's introduced herself to me three or four times now. Worst of all, she is incompetent. She prescribed me a medication that I had already been given (I didn't recognize the name at the time, and the pills looked different) - clearly she did not check my file. She also prescribed me a medication that would interfere with my birth control without thinking to mention this to me or even ask me if I was on birth control - let alone check my file. She does not treat my acne proactively, but rather keeps prescribing me pills and telling me to "come back in 8 weeks". I asked her for more solutions and her answer was "Well, we could try taking you off medication and see how you do." She is absolutely useless, and frankly I doubt whether she is a qualified M.D. at all. I have not seen her credentials around the office, nor does she even have her own name on the prescription pad - she uses Dr. Campbell and Dr. Woo's. I refuse to continue to see her, and will now be looking for a new dermatologist who actually knows what he or she is doing. A shame, since Dr. Campbell was so fantastic. read more

Our family doctor recommended this clinic for us. We booked an appointment two months ago, for 10:15 am. When we got there at around 10:05, we sat down and started waiting. At about 10:30 am, people started going up to the front desk and asking how long it was going to take for their appointment. Some people going up to the desk said their appointment was at 9:50 am. When we finally got called in, it was 10:55 am. We sat in a room and waited for the doctor to come. When he came, he was obviously in a rush to get out. He didn't even look at the place we wanted him to check and set a prescription for us. He talked quickly and used big words we didn't understand and didn't explain them. Instead he told us to google it. After he finished talking he literally ran out the door, slamming it behind him as he went. A lot of people booked an appointment at this place so we thought it would be high quality, but instead there was a lot of waiting, and rushed appointments. Yes..eek Methinks not! My Experience at this place: The Doctor was so nice and pleasant and told me everything I wanted to hear and that she could accommodate exactly what I was looking for when it came to the final results of my Botox injections. I want no frown lines, I like my forehead not to move and want my eyebrows slightly raised. I was ecstatic to think I actually found a clinic in the city whose Doctor listened and maybe was able to give me the results that I usually get. Please take note that I am only 33 yrs old and the results I want are attainable with the right placement and amount of Botox. When I left, I felt satisfied thinking that FINALLY I had found a place within the city that was worth coming back to. WRONG!!! My eyebrows never raised but stayed low and the movement in my forehead came back within a month. THIS IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR or what she said the results would be. I went back a little upset but with a pleasant attitude asking her to fix the issue and yes she charged me for it. She proceeded to talk to me about how Nicole Kidman likes her forehead done... EXCUSE ME do I look like the type of person that cares about Nicole Kidman's face! Methinks not. Women pay top dollar to get the results they expect... the only reason why this place has repeat business is because a good majority don't realize that YES THERE IS BETTER OUT THERE. I drive 2.5 hours out of the city and only pay $8 a unit to one of the best Plastic Surgeons in the country. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I came in for a very simple procedure & walked out with a staph infection in my heart!! The infection destroyed 1/3 of my heart & I had to get TWO open heart surgeries.
