Admittedly I was a bit apprehensive about my massage appointment here after reading the Yelp…read morereviews. I bought a Groupon for $59. The promotional value had expired but I was still able to use the $59 towards a one-hour massage ($80). As others have pointed off, the "spa" part of the name is a misnomer. This place is in a cramped suite in a nondescript office building off Route 28 just past a pizza place. Not somewhere you would probably find unless you were looking for it. My massage was with Krystal, who was at the front when I came in and for some reason walking around barefoot. Not exactly the most professional or hygienic behavior. She led me into a small room after I completed some basic paperwork answering questions about my health. I'm not sure how she was able to move around the massage table because the room was so narrow. She applied a good amount of pressure and incorporated hot stones into the back massage which I enjoyed. However a lot of her motions felt repetitive colpred to other massage therapists I've seen. I don't know if that was intentional or perhaps she doesn't have a lot of experience with technique, but it didn't bother me that much. I did feel very good after the massage. Would I come here again? Probably not, because the location isn't the most convenient for me and the massage wasn't mindblowing by any means. I think I can find somewhere closer to me that doesn't feel so claustrophobic to get massages.

Beware. Find a stylist that actually listens to you. If you…read morerealize that they are not, walk out. I wish I had. My hair is an absolute disaster. I paid a lot of money here. Multiple appointments and...I anticipated more (I had a vison) . Before I knew it..the BEST cut turned into the worst crap on my head ...in one appointment my entire life flashed before my eyes (not the first appointment but the THIRD.) OK (is what it is) so it was a super bad cut and a massacre of a dyeing mess. She wanted something "quick" she charged me for a better (longer) service, She got out early, and.Im stuck with something that might resemble hair-but really looks like urine-yellow straw, and I was charged the same for a three hour job. Ill get over it (in about 6 mos), however, why do I have to get over it? Dont book an appointment and you wont have to suffer this experience. Do NOT do it. Unless you are over 80 (then go for it) and trying to get your money back from these people? When they offered a refund? yep....possibly a paper check.. they ask you to come IN to pick it up. They are inconceivably non electronic. (they kept my money , I was happy to have them just shut up) My experience: stay away. You will not get any satisfaction No one in this business listens. Least of all the stylist.... in one day...she destroyed 3.5 mos of appointments, money, time and trust. ZERO

I remembered to check in here today and saw it all empty! So sad because this place is pretty busy! I would definitely tell you to call a few days before you'd want to have an appointment! One can imagine the awkwardness of the first brazilian wax, yes? Well yeah it was for me (back then), but she's used to that and made me feel completely comfortable about it. Shes a great conversationalist which makes the time spent there well worth it and hey, now it's not weird! She has a list of services offered and I think she can host spa parties there. I receive the monthly e-mails which are good for the specials or new products. I only go for the Brazilian wax but wouldn't imagine going anywhere else for this service because she knows me and makes me feel comfortable about the situation so it's awesome! It's not that painful either, worth a shot! I tried it once and I keep going back!

And let me tell you, if money were no object, I'd be here every 4 weeks like clockwork. For just a little extra than the basic hydra facial, you get a complimentary LED AND dermaolaning (which if you added these separately would be a lot more). So far I have had two with her and definitely plan on coming back. I have also had nail services with Ava, structure gel mani, Dazzle Dry manis and spa pedicures. She is absolutely fantastic, super easy to talk to, very detail oriented and when I was apprehensive to speak up about something (which I did and it totally wasn't a big deal) she reiterated to me that if I had questions about anything, not to be worried about saying something because she wants me to leave happy. And boy , do I leave happy! The owner is also very nice and super knowledgeable and in the future, I definitely want to look into possibly getting IPL photo facial for my rosacea. They also offer brow services, lash services and other kind of skin treatments. I plan on trying those also. I know this was long but I can't say enough good things about this place!

There were two old looking couches that were placed in a weird way that didn't feel welcoming or like it flowed. They had little cubbies with locks to put our stuff in it, rest room facilities thats were clean, but again no spa like zen feeling. The salt room itself was cool. They had tranquil music playing. You walk with booties that they give you because there is salt on the ground. The walks and light fixtures were also covered in salt, and there is a cent that was said to blow Himalayan salt into the room. You go in with your regular clothes, which I thought was strange. I know the benefits cone with inhaling it, but I also thought it gets absorbed in through your pores as well. I have only been to one other salt room at a spa and we were in our robes. After 10 minutes of the salt blowing in, my friend and I felt a difference. It definitely did something, my head personally was feeling fuzzy 20 minutes into it and for about 30 minutes after I left. I didn't feel bad, I'm assuming its from all the salt WI was breathing in. The salt room itself is definitely zen. Interesting experience, I would try a different salt room next time.
