All very good, The schnitzel was very tasty and tender. The roast duck was moist and not gamey; very savory and succulent. The schweinshaxe was tender but kept the integrity of the skin was intact and crispy. The service was great because we arrived in between lunch and dinner. But it was pretty busy in the "cafe " area. It seems the servers were from university; students working as a side hustle. The ambiance was that of a beer hall with a hunter's motif very cozy in the area we were seated (the right side of the building as you enter the door.

Make a left and at the end is where you pay for the beer, grab the stein, rinse and get it filled. All done within 30 feet radius. You can retrace back and grab all the meats and such. Cash only! Outdoor area is huge. Tree leaves started to come out Mid April. Interior beer halls with plenty of seats. 100's people drinking pints and pints of beer. Men's room, designed to take care of all this. Beer was ok, food was ok, experience was ok. Did meet one of the workers offered to take photos. Nicer one at it! All spoke good English so communication was good.

It's best known for the namesake wheat beer Weißbiers. Erdinger is actually the world's largest wheat beer brewery, did you know that? Weißbier is golden cloudy beer with white and cream label 5.3% alcohol content. I personally prefer dark brown type beers with higher alcohol content, like dark Weizenbock and Lambic. But Erdinger Weißbier was good!

Ive now come upon a new favorite; the Berline Weisse. Light color, tart, complex fruity palate and still a good punch of abv. The Briem 1809 Berliner Weisse is a great example of this beer in a bery traditional style. Flavorful and refreshing, great by itself and even better with salty fatty foods.

He had a great personality, infused a lot of humor with all of the information, and was good with people. The beer was very good. There was soooo much beer on the tour and people kept handing me theirs (I don't know why). Needless to say, I was feeling it by the end of the tour. There was an interesting beer-based shot drink at the end that was good. Again, people kept giving me theirs and the tour guide poured me a second one. Geez! At the end of the tour we got to eat dinner. Yum! It was some of the best food I had while in Germany. There was also a quiz to see if you got some kind of certificate. We all cheated. Lol There was a nice little gift shop that had a variety of things for different interests and ages.

We didn't have a way to get it back home unfortunately, and we didn't trust the postal service not to break it. We opted for the more manageable liter one instead, along with some coasters, a hat pin, t-shirt, and a metal brewey sign.
