Our server was very polite and she took our orders and suggested some items as well. Food came without too much delay and was very tasty. We stayed and enjoyed for at least 2 hours then back to the festivities once they cleared the bomb threat and started letting everyone back in. While I realize this is a common mistake I was surprised by the strong arm tactics used by the manager to force me to pay the higher price. I was on a date and the conflict was getting too out of hand so I payed and left with a horrible taste in my mouth despite the decent food.

The beers were well done and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food looked great though we were just there for drinks. We had a lovely time talking to the sales clerk in the brewery store downstairs (stop there for shirts, glassware, etc) about his eclectic beer can collection from all over the world. Turns out, beer people are beer people the whole world 'round. Always a delight to make new friends! Try out this little spot for something that's both different and quintessentially German. Prost!
