This place was GREAT!!…read more Staff were all so kind and welcoming. They helped us select a great local wine and assisted in selecting our pizzas. We had the Burratina Tricolore starter which was very fresh and tasty. For pizzas we had the Due Sicilie and the Dolce Vita - sauce was very good, crust was thin and delicious, and the veggies were all fresh. They also gave us a side dish... which I believe was Buschette ..it had pickled onions which were REALLY DELISH!! This place is very small ....so be sure to make a reservation! Would I go back? Yes!

We ordered the pizza with salami , bacon , peppers and added fresh basil. It was delicious. Cooked in an electric oven that made a char on the crust. The crust was soft and you could eat all of it. The peppers were a little spicy. The basil was a bonus. They normally don't cut your pizza. We were splitting it so they cut it and gave us 2 big half's. Delicious this is a little shop making quality pizza.

I'm sorry to say that this was the worst meal my family has eaten in Mittenwald over the past five…read moredays of eating both lunch and dinner out. The spaghetti carbonara was bland and had only a few small pieces of pancetta, the noodles in the spaghetti Aglio E Olio were rock hard (not Al dente). The spaghetti Bolognese was good, but not great. The worst part was that we ordered a bottle of still water for the table, which came in an unsealed bottle that looked reused and appeared to have mold spots inside. I'm fairly certain it was tap water in a reused bottle yet they charged 4 Euro as if it was not. I have no idea how this restaurant has such a great rating. It is definitely not deserved, based on our experience.

We started w/ a pizza, and crust was perfectly crispy and soft where it counts. Spaghetti ala carbon melted in my mouth -- best I've ever had, and I ordered it on back-to-back visits. The risotto w/ chanterelles was creamy and yummy, and the spinach ravioli was soft and so flavorful -- sublime, really. We only ate one piece of their bread, so as not to spoil dinner, but wow, fresh from oven! Wine list featured some outstanding local wines, which the staff were well familiar and knowledgeable. Friendly and accommodating staff, air conditioned (hot Aug '18), comfortable (we sat inside on 2d floor) -- In sum, outstanding experience!! Cheers! RS
