I had my kitchen doors replaced & had tile on the backsplash put on, had my new copper sink put in, new disposal, new ceiling fan, the work is superb, Mike is a very hard worker, & did a few extra things, that he really didn't have to. so very happy with his work, I will contact him again for future jobs. read more

Normally I would be really excited to see a shop like this spring up in the middle of know where, the idea behind this flea market flip furniture store shows creativity and encourages upcycling. However, what I didn't care for was the lack of inventory ( the store might have been a little sparse since they are just starting out) & the high prices. I comprehend the amount of hard work that goes into upcycling, I participate in this hobby myself; however the piece you see in the pic I provided was over $300.00! I could see if the sink was actually functional but it is strictly decorative... bases from old Singer sewing machines can be picked up @ flea markets starting at $25.00 & a used door @ Habitat for the same. I'm not saying don't shop here, just make sure you have a few pay checks saved up beforehand & that you bring a large van or truck as most of the furniture is too large for the average car. read more

Dropped by this new little shop today on my lunch break. (What can I say, I have some sort of internal radar for thrift/consignment/up-cycle shops!) I really enjoyed perusing as the shop features 1) some lovely items crafted from reclaimed materials by the proprietors 2) consignment goods in a similar vintage or restoration vein, and 3) (perhaps my favorite) a "barnyard" section of pieces, parts, and cool old wares for your own crafting/tinkering whims. I am a sucker for bits and bobs and odds and ends and especially trinkets of yore so I could have definitely looked longer but, alas, work beckoned. While a previous reviewer mentioned the store didn't have an abundance of merchandise, that's what I thought at first too but they are in their second month at this location and the really cool pieces were lovingly displayed. While the big furniture items were higher in price, you get what you pay for and the thoughtfulness behind their assembly shows in the craftsmanship and, as the proprietor explained to me, in the 'birth certificate' describing the components which make up each piece. Either way, I found they had a wide variety of goods and neat household items like chalkboards and decorative pieces at many price points. And me? I'll definitely be back to graze through whats-it bins and sigh over wooden card catalog drawers. read more

I am not exactly sure how to handle this review. I had been sitting on it on a long while because I didn't want to write in anger. I wanted to write facts. So hear goes.... In mid-September Ravenna holds their annual Balloon-A-Fair parade. It is a HUGE event. Streets close and local businesses open. It is one of the few times I get to check out stores. After the main parade is when the fun begins. As the PTO president of one of the elementary schools, I have to participate in the parade. So I parked near where we would end because I have to pass out refreshments and treats to the students and parents who walk in the parade. I park in the old Bank One parking spot. The bank is no longer their and I figure I could walk around and visit local businesses after my duties, Reincarnation America being one of them. My husband drives and drops me off and as I walk away, I am not but 10 feet from the car and this woman comes out of nowhere and proceeds to yell at my husband for parking there. I'm thinking, "WTH?!?!" She claims she's the owner of Reincarnation America and that we can't park there and impede business. EVERYONE knows that after the parade, the spots open up and no business will be had before then. She proceeds to verbally berate my husband and threatens to call the police for parking in a spot that is not even marked as her stores spot. Quite frankly, I never walked into the store. Her poisonous attitude made me NOT want to ever walk in. If that is how she treats total strangers, then how in the world does she treat customers?! The outside of the store looks quaint, and there is parking in the front and back, but beware! She may call the cops on you if you are not going directly inside at a very fast pace!
