I worked with Molly Cook for over 4 years and I cannot recommend her or her practice enough. Onward…read moreTherapy and Wellness has offered so many wellness services (group therapy, yoga, sound baths, meditation, massage, etc.) and has such a well-rounded focus on providing holistic care mind, body, and soul. I participated in every event and class I was able, and I had an amazing experience with everyone. Onward clearly prioritizes top care all around, even when if you have an insurance/billing issue, Jeff has got your back! The mental and emotional work I did with Molly completely transformed my life. When I first started therapy with her, my life was extremely small and limited due to chronic pain and CPTSD. The foundation we built allowed me to feel hope for the first time in years and gave me strength to start reconnecting with myself. All the deep work we did together helped me learn and accept so much about myself. The life I live now is more than I ever could have dreamed of when I first walked into her office all those years ago. I have since come out as queer, learned how to accommodate my neurodivergence, and expanded my life beyond my chronic pain (and experience significantly less pain!). These were all parts of myself I had been blocked off from due to trauma and societal conditioning. I am extremely grateful to be living a much more integrated life, and I owe that to all the care, patience, and efforts of Molly and her team. I also worked with Erin Knebel for several months and she was absolutely fantastic. I learned so much about IFS, spirituality, and we worked through some deep, old wounds. The work we did together was instrumental in big life transitions. This has all culminated in me accomplishing a long-time goal of relocating to the East Coast. I moved to central New York a few months ago, and the therapeutic tools I have taken with me have completely saved me during the stress of a quick cross country move and after to build a vibrant community around me. If you are in search of a therapeutic practice who cares about your entire wellbeing and will do the difficult, meaningful work with you, Onward Therapy and Wellness is your place. Molly, Erin, and the entire team at Onward, thank you so much for your compassion, knowledge, and work. Onward holds such a dear place in my heart, and I cannot thank you enough for helping me on my journey.

I took a breathwork class with Bethany to start the new year on a fresh foot- and enjoyed every…read moresingle moment of the experience. Bethany has a unique ability to both comfort and challenge, blending grounding and activating exercises with such seamlessness that I felt fully present in my body for the first time in a long time. Despite the emotions and physical sensations that bubbled up for me during class, I felt a sense of safety under her guidance and emerged feeling so grounded and clear-headed. Alive and Well is such a beautiful space... I encourage exploration of the many amenities that they offer in their lounge and locker room, and 100% recommend that breathwork with Bethany be added to any wellness routine!

I believe Alive and Well has strong potential to deliver an exceptional experience; however, I…read morecontinue to feel disappointed by the level of service provided, particularly given the amount I invest as a client. To date, I have spent several thousand dollars across their services - I am currently enrolled in the Elite Family membership ($400/month), have purchased the functional medicine package ($500), and have also transitioned my medspa services (e.g., botox, etc.) to their practice. While the membership offerings themselves are appealing, the overall experience has been inconsistent. For example, the locker room amenities frequently fall short of expectations. In the evenings, the water is often empty, which may seem small but is not in line with the standard one would expect from a "luxury" facility - especially one that includes a sauna. Additionally, my boyfriend has experienced similar issues in the men's locker room, including a lack of available towels. These recurring issues detract from the overall experience. My functional medicine appointment was a positive experience. Rebecca provided a thoughtful and comprehensive review of my bloodwork along with actionable recommendations. However, the follow-up experience has been frustrating. When I reach out through the patient portal with questions, the responses tend to focus on promoting additional memberships rather than addressing my specific concerns. For example, when I recently inquired about peptides, I was directed toward a peptide membership rather than receiving straightforward guidance. I prefer a model where I can pay for services as needed, without the pressure to enroll in ongoing memberships. Overall, it feels as though the business model is heavily centered around enrolling clients in multiple memberships, which makes it difficult to access continued care without additional commitments. This approach has impacted my experience and may ultimately influence whether I continue seeking services with Alive and Well. Medspa services with Kelly are great. She listens and gives great guidance! If you are strictly going for the spa (sauna, cold plunge, massages, facials), it is a beautiful and relaxing environment. However, if you plan to add the functional medicine package, the experience may shift from relaxing to frustrating due to persistent upselling and pressure to enroll in additional memberships.

I am always looking for new classes and places to try when in Dallas. When Pose closed in November,…read moreI asked my favorite instructor Tara where I can find her, and she told me Satya. I signed up for her all levels class and was offered 10 days unlimited for $20, a deal that truly cannot be beat! It was a great class, so I decided to try Janie's all levels class on Tuesday. It was a challenging class, and I was definitely feeling it in my shoulders! On Wednesday I dragged my mom who was in town and Eric R. to Tara's deep stretch class, a favorite of mine from the other studio. It was just what we needed during a furious holiday week. The studio was closed on Christmas day and I had already booked a class elsewhere Friday, so I returned today (Saturday) for Ashley's power flow class. I walked in nervously as I was not sure I could keep up with a power class, and luckily another person expressed the same concern. Ashley assured us it was just about a fast-paced cardio segment in the middle 20 minutes of class, and she would watch us and adjust pacing if needed. It was a really great class, starting with core work. We did a lot of cool things that I thought were really good for me and even movements I did not think I would be able to do in the past. I felt accomplished at the end of class! I still plan to take yin and gentle yoga to try more classes before my pass runs out on New Year's Eve. A few notes for people new to the studio: the spots are yoga-mat length/shaped raised cork from the floor and the mat goes on top of it. You can use a mat from the studio for free or bring your own. The studio has a lot of props including bolsters, blankets, blocks, foam rollers, and weights. It is very clean and spacious. It feels welcoming for all ages.
