I can't say enough great things about Steven! Todd! Smith!! I first began working with him after getting a gift certificate for a session, and because of Covid, we worked remotely via Zoom. I wasn't sure how effective a long-distance Reiki session would be. Although I'd had a good experience once before with another Reiki healer (in-person, pre-Covid) I wondered if I would receive the same experience from someone working through a screen. Much to my pleasant surprise, because of the nature of how Reiki works, this didn't much matter. Steven's work with Reiki can still be felt very directly, despite not being in the same room. His process in each session involves an initial check-in to discuss anything going on, and from that initial chat, he can hone in with informed intention to rebalance, realign, recalibrate, basically whatever is needed for the client at that time. If you've never had a Reiki session, Steven makes sure all your questions are answered, and explains what you may expect to come up. At a basic level, its always a pleasant, relaxing, and beneficial experience. Anything beyond that depends on the day and what is happening with the client energetically, but its always positive and helpful. The actual applying of Reiki just involves you laying back, closing your eyes and relaxing. Steven expertly guides you through the process. Once he is finished, the session concludes with a short conversation to discuss what came up during Reiki, both in his experience, and in yours. That is always super helpful in gaining deeper insights and metabolizing whatever was discussed and worked with in that session. Steven is always very insightful, authentic, articulate, compassionate, always fully present, and has great refreshing energy. He makes it a priority to ensure you feel comfortable to explore literally anything that might be going on physically, emotionally, mentally, you name it. I always look forward to our sessions as regular energetic maintenance, and that has benefitted me in literally every aspect of my life. If you are looking for more clarity, self-empowerment, a better creative flow, relaxation, or anything else that feels 'off' and needs some adjustments, I cannot recommend Steven enough to help! read more

Steven is actually amazing! I had a virtual distant Reiki session over quarantine and told myself when it was safe to go in person I would come back. When I first heard about Reiki, I was definitely very skeptical. I mean, how is something that involves little to no physical touch even supposed to do anything at all? This HAD to be nothing but new age hocus pocus. Then I remembered that I'm paying my therapist more per hour than Steven asks, and all we do is talk, but somehow THAT is accepted by the scientific community. Well, I decided to put Reiki to the test, and got a 4 session package. At the end of the month, I figured, I would assess how I feel and then make a conclusion. I had the last of my 4 sessions today, so the time has come to make a judgement. And I have to say, hands down, I feel about a thousand percent better than at the beginning of the month. Before I started I was anxious, depressed, and generally lacking energy and positive outlook on life. Everything just seemed to be a burden and life wasn't really worth living. Worse yet, I had been feeling like this for the majority of the past 6 years are so. I had tried everything - yoga, chiropractic, therapeutic massage, even drugs. Nothing had really helped, and I was ready to accept that maybe I'm just getting old. However, after finishing my four sessions, I now feel relaxed but energized, and I am ready to take on every day with enthusiasm. This stuff really works! All I can say is WOW! I would highly recommend a Reiki session with Steven, he is VERY good at what he does. When I showed up I didn't know what to expect, but he made it very comfortable and relaxing. I didn't really have to DO anything, except for lie on the massage table and do nothing. It was great that day I did it, but more interesting is how I've been experiencing shifts in my energy and my thinking every day since then... It's a bit hard to describe, but I'm pretty sensitive to changes in my body so here goes: 1. I walked in with my usual heavy load of aches and pains from past injuries, a demanding job, and sitting at a desk for most of the work I do. 2. We set some intentions for what I'd like to put good energy towards like the specific areas I have pain, and other mental and spiritual limitations I felt were holding me back. 3. I lied down and closed my eyes and he went to work in the special way he does that you will have to experience to believe (all of it was very comfortable and pleasant, like getting a massage, but without very much physical contact--crazy right?) 4. We wrapped up after who knows how long because time seemed to melt away, and I felt surges of energetic movement throughout my body I could only describe at the time as "White Water Rapids" 5. He told me to bask in whatever I was feeling as long as I wanted, and the energy mellowed into a light buzz that felt like green electricity. All the while, I felt very light since we started. 6. After about 5 minutes I felt the weight of my body return to my awareness, and I felt my outer shell (my skin) start to feel like it was sealing in all the good vibes he exposed me to. 7. Over the next few hours I felt like something had changed but I couldn't put my finger on it... And it still feels that way 3 days later. Although, I do notice an overall improvement in the way I now acknowledge some of the thought patterns I wanted to change. All in all, I feel more peaceful, clear headed and focused on the abundance I want, and grateful for the experience of clearing away energies that were trapped inside. Looking back, I wonder what life would be like today had I gone right when Heather bought the session for me? All I know is that, the second best time to do the session was when I did it, and it's really awesome. If you have anything you've been trying to work through and haven't been able to figure it out on your own, I can't promise you will have the same experience I did, but I can confidently say you will have a very good experience with Steven. I started Reiki sessions with Steve about 3 months ago and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. After unexpectedly being laid off from my job of 12 years, I was feeling lost, confused and anxious about the next steps in my life. I was referred to Steven through a friend after having a somewhat tepid first experience with Reiki a few years back. While I believe fully in energy and how we live from it as human beings, my first experience with Reiki felt more like an nap with an awkward person hovering over me. After the recommendation, I decided to be open to a new experience and am very glad I did. I have been going through a lot of emotional trauma (READ: BREAKUP) and I can tell you that at my most cynical and darkest moments, I have had sessions with Steven that have completely shifted my energy as well as mind set. Steven is amazing. I was blessed to be attuned in reiki level one by him and the experience was spiritually mind blowing to say the least. Everyone's experience is unique to them but during the actual attunment I had what is best described as an "awakening". I've suffered from anxiety and panic disorder for most of my life and I can definitely say that being able to work on myself, as well as others, is an absolute game changer. The class seemed to have great balance. There wasn't too much information to where one could feel overwhelmed. He includes some personal experiences, stories and a little bit of a history lesson, which for me was very interesting. He kept my attention the whole time and even though we followed along with his "manual" at no point did I feel like I was bored. I learned a lot in a short period of time. This was my FIRST ever Reiki session and I didn't know what to expect. I do Angel therapy and I was continually getting a card that said that I need to go for Reiki. My body and mind felt like that it had actually slept and relaxed. Usually when I sleep and wake up, I don't have that good feeling of 'I have slept' as I did when Steven carried out the Reiki on me. It was really a great experience and it allows you travel and soul search within your mind and body. As a massage therapist myself, I can be very picky as to who I allow to work on me. I usually prefer a nice, heavy, deep tissue massage but decided to give Reiki a whirl. I had Reiki I class and attunement with Steven earlier today and I'm still tasting the wonderful feeling and excitement of being able to access reiki (I'm sure it will become even better with time and practice) ! First and foremost, Steven is an extremely patient and caring teacher. I raised questions and made comments throughout the class but always felt being encouraged. He also answered questions in a way that felt precisely right (how could those questions just suddenly make the right amount of sense?）He made sure our questions were well-addressed no matter how small they were and repeated the teaching of hand positions for many times when we were confused. I first met steve last year as I was looking for a reiki master to help me with anxiety and traumas from the past. When we first spoke on the phone, I could feel his positive energy right away. He was very compassionate and accommodating booking my appointments for the first time. I signed up for a package of 6/ 1hr sessions and had a great deal. Steven's presence is very friendly and comfortable. We got to talk a little before, and he's easy to get along with. The energy of his place is really nice as well. I was personally open to the experience (it was my first time), and it was one of the best things I've ever done. I felt chills almost throughout the whole 35 min. session. At one point I felt as if he was pulling energy from the crown of my head, and I experienced a slight convulsion from the center of my body to the top, and I had slight tears starting to come out. Not sure what it was exactly, but it was something :). I definitely recommend you to do this session. I knew nothing of Reiki but since going through a deep depression and hardly being able to get out of bed, I knew I need more than therapy and medication. Steven is excellent at what he does and his reiki is powerful. Ive been seeing him for awhile to help me navigate the different issues that have come up in my life. I can genuinely feel the accumulation of his reiki--side effects include feeling peace internally no matter the external circumstances which that alone by itself is priceless, feeling centered and like I have the resources to get through particularly demanding times i.e. Transitioning into a new career, getting through grad school or dealing with the end of a relationship, feeling an overall sense of light uplifting energy (and others have commented and noticed this energy in the past), also greater ease in attracting positive opportunities in life that resonate with me, and a sense of being in the "flow" of things vs feeling like you're in a constant state of "ugh" or resistance. In addition, knowing that I'm on the empathic side and work around a lot of people day in and day out, seeing Steven for sessions is like going through an energetic car wash and the state of bliss I'm in when a session ends confirms how much I needed it. During a visit, if I choose to express what I've been currently going through, Steven has the gift to articulate and perceive the deepest truth and insight into a situation and even tie it into the bigger picture as it relates to my growth so I end up feeling therapeutically "full" and at peace with whatever the situation is no matter how bothersome or emotional it might be. Ive taken reiki level one with steven (and hoping to take level 2 with him) and he genuinely wants his students to understand and learn reiki in its entirety, providing time for hands on practice for us kinesthetic learners, and answers each question thoroughly. I feel qualified to leave this review after experiencing his authentic and transformative ability to teach and give reiki and can say I absolutely recommend steven to anyone who is interested in improving any aspect of your life with the help of reiki. read more

Last year, I started meditating after seeing how effective it was for a friend. Since I started, I have had some interesting breakthroughs and my interest in reiki started. I decided that I would contact two practitioners to see who I would feel comfortable with. Steven responded first and made me feel at ease right away. We had an amazing session! He helped me release some old fears and traumas. I felt so much lighter afterwards. I decided to sign up for Steven's Reiki I class because I felt in my gut, I had found the right reiki master. Not only is he consistently present and compassionate, but grounded and organized. He created a flow for the class that felt academic, spirtual and organic. I signed up for Reiki II which was just as organized yet open to an organic flow. Since that last class in November, I have also participated in one of Steven's reiki shares which opened up a sense of community. I am grateful and proud to have Steven as my reiki teacher.
