My husband and I are in the process of building a home in NC and that means that many decisions are being made remotely, long distance, and without being onsite. Shortages and delays are common place these days so it shouldn't have been a surprise when we needed to change our countertops from those we originally selected. Cord's Cabinetry carry the same brand countertops offered by our kitchen contractor in NC. I had to visit the Cord's showroom three times in the span of just a few days trying to select a quartz that was readily available ..... in NC! Maggie was there each time and always greeted me with a smile! I explained that I was there simply to look at their displays and that I would not be a customer so I didn't expect anything from them. I didn't want to take up their time, just take up a little space while I looked at their samples. Maggie smiled, nodded, and proceeded to help me find several options that looked nice with our cabinets. She extended this time and assistance THREE TIMES!! You see, after the first two visits whenI took a list back to my contractor in NC, I found out that those quartz products would not be available in time for us. Even when I walked through the door the third time, Maggie came out to greet me and continue to offer suggestions, pull samples, put samples away, help me with photographing options that we were interested in ..... Maggie was what all customer service should be!! If we were local and needed the services offered by Cord's Cabinetry .... I would have no hesitation in contracting them to work with us on our project. You shouldn't either!!

So before I begin, keep in mind that I gave this company several chances to make things right over…read morethe last 3 weeks before writing this. Today was the final straw. So here goes my experience: About a month ago, I went in person to Cord's Cabinetry and asked how much it would cost for measurements of my kitchen so that I could deliver them to my designer. I could have easily taken these myself but my designer said to have them professionally done so that the schematics would be correct with no room for error. So I gave my information to the front desk at Cord's Cabinetry to a lady named Karen who was very kind and accommodating. She said I would receive a call from Mr Cord and could plan a date and time from there. About 5 days later Mr Cord called me back and we set an appointment for a weekday morning before I had to be at work. He came in and did the measurements, I handed him $150 cash which I'm certain they did not report to the IRS as revenue as I did not receive a receipt, and then he left. About a week later, I received an email with an estimate and these pictures (and yes, they were sideways in the email just like they are here). I kindly replied via email saying: "Tue, Feb 15, 5:01 PM to karen Karen, I was hoping to get the measurements so that my designer can do her thing, then I can get back with the cabinets we end up going with etc. Regards, Aaron Krahling" She responded saying that they do not give out the measurements until you make a deposit on cabinets from them, basically extortion in the form of keeping my measurements in order to force me to pay a deposit on cabinets that I hadn't even had the chance to give the measurements to the designer for. This is when I started to get angry. I paid $150 for something that takes less than 10 minutes that I could have done myself and now they won't give me the schematics. I responded letting her know that I needed the measurements to give to my designer. They basically reiterated their statement saying that they would not release the measurements until I made a deposit on cabinets that once again, I had no way at all of knowing what I needed other than what they showed me in the sideways attached pictures. So now I'm pretty upset. I try one last email attempt and Karen responded saying that they do not give out the measurements because then someone could take them to another cabinet company and not use Cord's for the work. Mind blown at this point and at my boiling point, I responded again saying that I paid for measurements and would like them. They wouldn't give them to me and still have not to this day. They finally did give a design of what they could make the kitchen look like but will not release the schematics of the kitchen even though this is what I paid for. Maybe they do good work, I don't know, but this is wrong. When someone pays you for something, you give it to them, not try to hold it hostage to force them to buy more products. I mean, what if I was trying to plan this out for a year from now? The whole thing just doesn't and didn't make sense. Finally, I went back today in person to try to talk to them and they once again said that they do not give out the measurements and I should have told the guy measuring what I wanted if that was the case. I'm not sure what other reason I would ask for measurements for? At this point, I'm so pissed off that I raised my voice and they basically said to take them to small claims court, so I guess I'll have to waste a day of my valuable time just on the principle. I was very angry and I guess next time I see them will be in said small claims court for not providing the service that i paid for. So simple, so sad, STEER CLEAR!

I was impressed with the samples of work I saw and the pricing was very good- right where I expected. The project spanned about a month. From Day 1, Jon was clear with the project scope and deliverables, and we had everything lined up in the contract. We started on time and also with the addition of another bathroom, the schedule worked out perfectly. Joey and 'T' arrived on time each day, and any questions or improvements we had were addressed immediately. It was a joy to have them working with us-- they were very conscientious and the detritus created by the demo was almost nonexistent. They were very easy to work with and very professional, I was impressed at the workmanship and attention to detail. Throughout the project Jon was great at keeping in touch, and visited the job site often to review details. We worked together to land on decisions for flooring, paint, lighting, and detail work. They made it as easy as possible for us to continue living in our home while having our bathrooms fully remodeled. The results were a clean and comfortable space that my family will enjoy for years to come. We worked in some special details such as a heater/ exhaust fan combo that supplies heat to the bathroom during those chilly winter morning showers. Working with Jon, Joey and T exceeded our expectations all around, and we would highly recommend them for any future work and have nothing but great things to say about them. E and E

This company came to me highly recommended after roof and interior damage from the snow and ice…read morestorm that hit Maryland 2026. At first I thought I was in good hands and I trusted that they had our best interest in mind. However that was not the case, I contracted them at the end of march/ beginning of April, signed the contract gave them the money awaiting results. I was told that I would be contracted by the project manager in a few days to confirm a start date. I asked repeatedly what is going on WHY????? haven't been contacted yet? All I kept getting was someone was going to reach out. Supervisor Christian (NOTHING)... Project Manager Russell (NOTHING). Now it's May of 2026 and I called the insurance company to stop payment only to learn that Priceless had deposited the check for with NO work being done or correspondence. I had to call the Crain Hwy location and threaten to call a LAWYER!!! I finally got a response from Russell (project manager) which turned out be a lot of bull. Apologies, lies, and just more bull. He assured me that he was on it and was going to get things going once he made the 3 phone calls that was supposed to benefit me . More shucking and jiving !!! I explain to him that there is a hole in the ceiling and you could see the light from outside. His response via text send me a photo, my response time was ASAP i sent him the photo and his response got it. Upon speaking to him again he told me he was going to send out his guys to go up on the roof because form the beginning I kept saying it would be useless to fix the interior first and not the roof to have damages again. He agreed and was supposed to be giving me an estimate. Now this estimate was on going for over a month and this was before I ever talked to him(Russell)... An estimate DOES NOT!!!! take that long. So I asked Russell in the mean time could he put a tarp on the roof until they get thing in order be cause in a few day it will be raining for the next 6 days straight. Note: It will be raining for the next 6 days. When the guys came out we thought they were putting a tarp on the roof, but the rain came and water came into the house. It was then that I realized that no tarp had been placed on the roof. I reached out to Russell via text and phone calls without any response. I did not hear back from Russell until a week later. Russell sent out two more guys to look at the roof and they stated that there was not any tarp on there but a cheap piece of material with holes was what was found on the roof. The supervisor Christian reached out to me to discuss the matter, stating that they were still attempting to get an estimate. He acted as though we were best friends and gave me his personal cell. At this point I then reached out to the owner Debra Price letting them know that I needed a refund of all money and let them know I was unsatisfied with the way they handled the matter. I was told i would receive a phone call from both owners but NOTHING. I will never do business with this company and people should look out for this story on the news because I have already contacted the media about this .

When we first hired One Stop Kitchen and Bath for the job, they were responding quick, coming out for the estimates, and everything was smooth. They told us it would take 4 weeks, and we will have a completely brand new kitchen. As the job started, it seemed to be going smoothly, they seemed to be working very fast. However, it started to diminish by week two. They started canceling on days they were supposed to come. I noticed that the design was flawed and cabinets that were put in were not able to be opened while another cabinet was opened. The design needed be changed. The communication practically diminished, we were not getting timely responses from the people in charge. There were instances where they ordered the wrong things that were stated in the contract and agreed on, and they tried to charge us extra for change orders. Be VERY aware of the charge for "change orders", they were very expensive. I am convinced the workers broke items we had in the kitchen and it was stated that "the workers may be afraid to admit they broke it". During the job, a large hole was made in the wall through my garage, they covered the hole with spackle and hung my ladder back up as if it never happened. After I noticed this, I had them come back out and respackle the hole AND repaint it. I'm not sure they would have done that if I hadn't seen it and said something. All in all, the job is finally complete over a year later. The communication after the job starts, was poor, they may try to charge you extra for things that were their mistake. Just be extra aware and speak up if something is done wrong, is broken or missing and stick up for yourself. Double and triple check the design that is drawn out. Make sure everything will open and close as it should and you have room to walk around things. As I said in the beginning, the kitchen looks Fantastic and with a lot of extra effort figuring things out, they are going to fix the mistakes they made...in time. Nice staff and employees that came out, but would not use them again.

We did a total master bathroom remodel, scheduled a consultation and Shay Foreman came to our home…read moreand listened to what we wanted while providing critical suggestions and feedback and answering all our questions and concerns. She took measurements and our information and promised us a rendering of what out new bath would look like. We gave her creative liberty (because she is the expert) and she showed us a beautiful design proposal. Next came the selection of the materials we were to use, again, the patience Shay showed us is really appreciated since we are "novices" at this. She offered color suggestions, color compatibilities, texture differences and price ranges for the suggested materials. Not once was she "pushing" a certain product or style, although she would offer counter points to ensure we were looking at all possible angles. After looking at four other proposal/offers, we decided to go with Onestop because of the experience already and the price/value promised by Umut. Then came the in home measurements and design, this where Rommel and his team came in and verified what we wanted. We actually did a mid-construction adjustment because of Rommel's suggestion which we welcomed. This adjustment did cost me a dime. Again, very much appreciated. They said it would take up to six weeks to complete, but they were finished in three. The workers were very professional, laying down protective mats when they began and cleaning up after the day. They were also very proficient and letting me know what was going on. Umut came in and did the final inspections after Rommel ensured punch list items were completed. We are very pleased and happy with our new bathroom. The team of Shay, Rommel and Umut is to be envied by other renovation companies. Thank you so much!
