    Nice high end camping and outdoor facility to meet all camping and hiking needs. Cool snacks available to buy with a waterproof map or compass whatever you need on your adventure.

    They have cross country ski gear here, but no bags that fit the skis. They should stock more bags.

    The service was horrible across the board. In the shoe department, we were ignored for 15 minutes…read moredespite eventually standing right next to the person who claimed to be in charge of the department as he talked to an attractive woman. There was no warmth and everyone acted like we were disturbing them. Then when we went to pay, a woman ignored us at the cash register while she talked to a fellow employee. No acknowledgment despite obviously seeing us. Eventually she started to check us out and stopped halfway through and said someone else would check us out. The person who eventually checked us out had been standing there idle the entire time. He ignored us. Finally, we had to bring back the shoes we purchased because of a problem with them and they refused to take them back. I understand there is a reluctance to take back shoes that have been worn (very briefly) on concrete (not dirt) but they quickly got angry and were not kind. This was the same guy, by the way, who ignored us talking to the attractive woman when we bought the shoes. Please know this review apples specifically to the Roseville store. We later went to the store in Coon Rapids, returned the same shoes WITHOUT QUESTION, and treated us with kindness and great customer service.

Let's just say Dick's has every sport covered, even those considered more obscure by Mn standards. Field try out areas for a digital in-store experience. There wasn't a lot of hardware, such as Garmin's, rugged type watches that tell everything and, oh by the way the time.     I brought new downhill skis and bindings into Erik's to be mounted. Details of the timeline and my…read moreexperience are below, but the summary is - I'd suggest you find another place to mount bindings. Erik's, in my experience, is not skilled at this task. Timeline: December 10 - brought Season powder skis and Marker bindings into Erik's. I bought these skis/bindings from Evo.com (online ski retailer) as a compatible combo. December 11 - I received a call asking me for my proof of purchase for the bindings after the Erik's ski tech cracked what they referred to as the "Clamor" part of the bindings, and they needed to contact Marker to get a replacement. December 13 - I was informed that the mounting failed, which left holes in the skis in the location where the ski manufacturer recommends bindings be mounted. Erik's staff asked if I was OK re-mounting my bindings in a different location on the skis, and the previous holes epoxied. I informed Erik's that I was not OK with this, and we agreed that Erik's would replace the skis. December 22 - Erik's confirmed the replacement skis were at the store, and the replacement Marker bindings parts were as well. I was informed that my bindings were going to be mounted by the Erik's ski tech who does all the training in order to reduce risk of mounting issues during the next attempt. January 5 - I was informed my skis were ready. January 6 - I picked up my skis, and was charged the full amount for the mounting of my bindings despite the time and hassle cost of the experience. Summary: In the end Erik's made things right, and did a good job of communicating clearly along the way as well as setting expectations appropriately, but I would caution against having bindings mounted by Erik's unless you have no time pressure, and are willing to deal with potential hassle along the way.
