Gleison, one of the owners, came out the next day to take a look at the property and give a free consultation during which he was very nice, helpful and clearly passionate about his craft. They were efficient, professional and did quality work in just a few hours cleaning up the entire front and backyard of pine needles and leaves and then mowing, aerating and seeding at a very reasonable price. They even quoted a gutter cleanup at 2x less than what I paid in the past. I will continue to use Mow and Grow in the future.

First job was to remove leaves that had overrun the property. They did a remarkable job in…read moreremoving nearly every leaf. I have to say I was impressed by the job and their hard work. I then said that i would like them to come back and mow the lawn. When the grass started to grow and the lawn was not mowed, I realized that maybe we did not exactly have a meeting of the minds. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So I called and left a message, they called back on a Friday said they would be there Monday. No one came, however I gave them the benefit of the doubt again, given the rainy days of late and they likely were overbooked. I figured then they would come on Tuesday, the lawn would be done as the lawn is now overgrown. No one came. I called late Tuesday and left a message that I wished they had told me they were not accepting my job, I would have begun my search all over again. Now by the time I find somebody, my yard will look more like a jungle than a lawn! Mary

We had…read morerenovated our house which meant that the yard had been trashed by construction vehicles and what we had to start with was about 2% actual grass and 98% crabgrass and weeds. Furthermore the shrubbery was old and overgrown. We needed help. We called G&H (Mike Giorgio) and he responded to us right away and stopped by the house at a convenient time for us after work to give us an estimate. He was pleasant and professional and listened to what we wanted and what our budget was. We saw eye-to-eye immediately. Our experience couldn't have been better. He was there when he said he would be there and done when he said he would be done. He worked with the other contractors we hired (irrigation folks and fence guys) and made sure that everything was done the right way and in the right order. When it came to picking out new plants he had great suggestions and recommended some local nurseries in the area. This spring we hired him for the maintenance of our new lawn and everything is going great. The lawn looks awesome and we are the envy of the neighborhood. I highly recommend G&H.

I have been using Smart Landscaping for years and was previously happy with the service. This year…read morehas been the worst year working with them and I will no longer work with them. Here are some of the reasons: - They never notify us when they are coming so if we do not take our lights down in our bushes, they end up destroyed as they say in their contract they are not responsible. We have had to replace several lights and also ripped furniture covers. I watch the crew just rush through the work without any regards to quality or our things and do not care if they destroy them. - They supposedly removed weeds, however we ended up with poisonous India Poke weed in our flower beds. - Our lawn had several yellow spots and despite reaching out to them about it I never heard back. - We do not do lawn mowing with them and they mowed our lawn with the Fall clean up and charged us for this without asking. It was not outlined in the contract that they would do a lawn mowing with fall clean up. Its unfortunate that this service has gone down hill. I liked working with them for years and had been happy with them in the past and hopefully this review will help them adjust their practices.
