We had the exact table in mind that we wanted to buy we just had to find it and of course at a reasonable cost. Justin, our sales associate throughout our entire purchase came over and greeted us. Not being that overly pushy sales associate you find at big box furniture stores which I hate and have experiencing wayy too much lately; he was a breath of fresh air! Very nice and let us make the decision instead of pushy it on us. He even let us know of a discount he could give us if that was going to be The Table! At this time we decide that this table might not the one and to keep looking. My husband and I both kept looking at the picture of the table over the next week and fell in love with it! We went once more to make sure we really did love it and were sold by the time we left the store.. Although we did not purchase it we made the final decision the next morning before leaving on a trip. I called Justin to see what my options were since we finally made The Go and were leaving the same day. He advised me that I could purchase the table over the phone and they would keep it Very safe for me in the meanwhile. The transaction was very easy over the phone with an email confirmation from Justin showing my receipt and also a quote for delivery. They use a third party/guy that has a truck but for less than a 10 min drive he wanted to charge me $125. A bit pricy for the trip. Once we got back I let Justin know when we would be ready for pick up and he got everything ready for us. Picking up was easy since they have a back loading station and Justin was kind enough to help us load it. We finally found our dining room chairs and will be able to start to use our unique new table soon! I would recommend Island City Traders for any furniture/decor needs! They have a great selection of all kinds of furniture and get new inventory in all the time!

That's probably why he did not give me a refund. He robbed me for ($400) I took it as a learning experience and what I learn is not to deal with the Joshua Tree vanity store ever again,, Sharing my experience with you so you don't make the same mistake I did there's no custom pieces in that store. It is located on Dixie Hwy where there are a lot of used furniture and antique stores. This space was formerly occupied by Castaway Treasures Consignment Gallery. Although the store is small they had a nice selection of items in great condition. I am not an expert on either items or prices but I love to look. It was stylish and comfortable. I fell in love with it. I went back for another chair. Instead of the wheeled chair for my desk, I wanted one for my kitchen table where I paint. Being thrilled in both rooms, I went back and bought two more chairs to match the one in the kitchen on wheels and a glass topped table that could be both a coffee or kitchen table. It is now my kitchen table and I couldn't be happier. I love the store and have to fight the urge to go back because everything is stylish, modern and well built.
