When I bought the credenza and shelf the Rabbi said he would drop it off. He then resold the credenza behind my back. He claimed that I said okay. Bullshit. He is someone that I don't trust at all. He is forbidden to come to my store and he has violated that twice. Next time the cops will be called. If you buy something from them make sure you take it away right away or he will resell it that day if someone offers him more money. read more

If you're looking for a great large antique style wall unit, breakfront, decorative mirror, an unusual chair, or similar, this might be the place to look. They also have a ton of books, paintings, etc etc. and I'm not exaggerating when I say a ton. It looks like they started out being stored on shelves and are now also thrown into a pyramid pile in front of the bookshelves. There could be a hidden gem somewhere in there, but you might not have the patience to dig through. Yes, dig. Here's the real problem -- it may be almost impossible to get close enough to see the item you want. Such a shame. The aisles are almost impassable (in some cases not at all); and everything is precariously on top of one another in a mish mash of stacks. Add to that: when we stopped in, there was a guy who was smoking a very stinky cigar while sorting through stuff. So, you might not make it walking around inside the building very long. This was a definite turnoff. They didn't have anything we were interested in, but if you had a large house and like this sort of thing, some of the old carved wood furniture pieces were dramatic and quite well constructed. We've passed this place often and finally got to see what they have inside. Now we know. read more

Oh my, Hoarders may have found it's next episode if they ever want to expand out to thrift stores. I love a treasure hunt but this place gave me the heebee Jeebies. In order to make your way through this large warehouse looking space, you have to snake your way through narrow aisles of stacks upon stacks of items. The piles didn't bother me as much as the fact that it looked very dirty in there. In between what looks like moldy fabric and books are interesting items like beautiful glassware and nice furniture. At least I think it was nice as it was rather hard to see it. At one point I saw a young child and feared that they might get permanently lost in here. I don't know how they would pass a fire inspection. Also nothing is priced. After a few minutes I didn't care enough to ask about anything and just wanted out of there. read more

Chabad bills itself as being a "thrift" store, which in a way it is but more accurately a second hand or used items store. It's a rather small store. For clothing there is a men's and a women's section. Then, intermingled there is glassware, pictures, decorator and other items. Though the prices appear reasonable, most of the items I saw appeared to be more third or fourth hand than second hand and all, especially in shoes, rather worn. As it is such a small store, really not all that much to offer. read more

The good reviews for this place are fake..I worked there for 3 weeks.. I am jewish and have a profound respect to chabad as an organization...yossi gansburg does NOT represent chabad and its people.. This man is a liar, a cheat and greedy person. He hide under the name "CHABAD" so he can make good people think that their donations are to the organisation... He is pluged into the wealthiest jewish communities, and get donations in the hundreds of thousands , under the false pertains of community help..all the expansive items are going straight to hos house or his kids. His pitiful excuse for man son, chaim is his partner in crime.. The rest of the donation are being sold at his store , and money is being pocketed .. What he can't sale, he put in the trash. While thousands of families are in desperate need of furniture and help, YOSSI gansburg pocket the money from sales of furniture donations, that was giving to him under the chabad name and fame for helping the people in needs. Although he is licensed as a none profit organizations, this is a furniture store, and for PROFIT only. The man buy properties, live in mantion , his son lives in a mantion , yet they still drive old cars.. You knkw why ? They drive the cars that were donated to them.. I was looking for Chabad thrift and apparently Galaxy thrift took over that space 8 months ago. Lovely personal assistance provided by warm and chatty Chris from Ohio. It's a huge space that looks small from the street. Some of the prices are a bit higher than current thrift market....lead crystal $15-25, belts $ 5-10. The "staff is not allowed to give discounts below $30" sign alludes to haggling opportunities but one has to get over the initial sticker shock and I usually dont. I just walk out, never return, then yelp about it:) I hate haggling. Part of the fun in thrift stores is the prices as you start to collect and amass your items and next thing you know $ triple digits purchase. When you merely factor in the face value one tends carefully "calculate" their "spending budget". Its the difference between a $50 vs $500 purchase. Thrift stores, know your customer. Its people who want a GREAT deal, the collector, the hoarder and the reseller. *bogo on non boutique items *$15 minimum to use the card. *loyalty card with $5 off This a new store in the area and there is a learning curb so I will be visiting them again and trust they will price more competitively and comparatively. read more

My favorite thrift shop to go to and find the most amazing finds when in Florida. I bought my last bag there and I'm loving it. The store is easy to move through and the merchandise is accessible. Great place. You have to know how to shop as this place is overloaded and you have to look carefully. Under a lot of stuff, I found a leather loveseat in perfect condition for very little money, also a wool rug and a 9 drawer bureau with mirror and little table. read more

False advertising. The yelp ad says 50% off clothes. When you get to the store they try to tell you it's buy one get one free. After showing the ad and arguing back and forth they finally agreed to honor the posting. They only accept card for purchases over $15. The owner admits that she gets all the items for free but wants you to pay $300 for certain items because they sell for $500 on eBay. I'm sorry, but no thank you. Well organize but not very customer friendly. All about making a quick buck on free items. Worse than goodwill. read more

Excellent little store, I found some fabulous items at a great price. The owner is fabulous! She's friendly and helpful. She gave tips to navigate Fort Lauderdale while I was shopping. Surprising upscale finds and a TON of shoes. This is right up the road from goodwill, so I suggest stopping at both! read more

That's an awesome place and has lots of cool stuff for home decoration, clothes, media and judica and even furniture. Rediculous prices on great condition stuff. The manager is amazing and friendly and will make sure you will be satesfied with your shopping ! Highly recommanded for anybody to check it out. Much of parking spots. Simply put this is a REAL thrift store in a giant warehouse. It has a large selection and everything was at a good price. They have great deals on clothes and an awesome vintage collection. I got a Brookes Brothers suit that fit perfect! Im told the selection changes everyday and they were putting new items out the whole time I was there. After buying some dishwares and clothes we went next door to the furniture building that had some awesome pieces. The employees were friendly. I will definitely be back. read more
