Sawatdee Wellness and Spa is relaxing and welcoming. The massage rooms are so clean and prepared for their clients. I am someone who always asks for the lightest pressure level because I can't handle much more than that. However, these women listened to my body and thought that I can handle a little bit more than light pressure, and was right! She even climbed on top of me and I LOVED it! I went once and there were some pros and cons and after a second time, there are some things people (and the business) should be aware of. (1) they have you sit in a reclining chair but it's flat against wall. I had to move it myself - and it was adjoined to the other so if someone was getting a service, they'd have to get up as well... and it's in the middle of the front entrance so when people walk in they are watching you, not to mentioned getting startled from the really loud doorbell. It should include a private room since entrance so small. (also put some art on the wall/decorate a bit - it's literally 2 adjoined leather chairs on a tile floor) (2) they employees shout at each other from the front of store where I was having my service done to the back staff area to the point where I asked them to talk later and that I was trying to relax and am paying for this time. They stopped. (3) They play spa music so loud that I had to ask for it to be turned down (and I'm a musician who LOVES music). I'm not trying to bring their business down but these things alone are enough to make me go elsewhere tbh. Pampering and relaxation should not include what I have listed. If they put conscious attention into addressing these things I might return.

I tipped each masseuse $10 total $20, on a $100 bill. They both seemed satisfied. A couple of months later l went for the same massages this time with one masseuse. I noted she was very insistently pushy at the start about a tip. Again the experience was OK. At the end l gave the required GST on $100 and because the masseuse did both massages instead of a $10 tip gave her $18. She started arguing that this was not enough, trying to bully me into tipping more. I just left the $18 tip and walked out. Never ever going back. Bad experience.
