The bathroom is a bit interesting, plenty of room but the shower is quite tiny. The location is quite convenient, close to Gare du Nord & Gare del Est, quite convenient while getting to/from CDG Airport. The Disneyland shuttle stop is just down the road as well as one of the Big Bus Tour stops, so extremely convenient! You will find souvenir shops nearby, as well as nice bars/restaurants, stores and bakeries nearby. Very affordable accommodation. The only reason I knocked down a star is because out trash was not taken out except for one time (this even after we sorted it and set it aside to be taken out), our room-provided cups also were not cleaned. Otherwise, I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. The staff is wonderful and willing to help. Tip: VERY small elevator. You may find yourself using it just to get your luggage up/down depending on which floor you get.

The good- again, Close to Nord train station, about 7 minute walk. Very reasonable price for paris hotel central to many sites. The not so good..yes, it's just a 2 star hotel, very basic, worn and tired. The bedspread was very old and stained...Our shower head was broken and had to use a hand held nozzle hose... The TV screen was micro, about 18". The lift got our luggage up to our 7th floor room, but is small.. Like an upright coffin, 150 kg limit.... Since the hotel is located in busy region, loud traffic below, along with shouting and sirens...bring ur ear plugs. Bottom line, you get what u pay for....

The hotel itself is beautiful with a French film theme. We stayed in room 512 and loved it. It had a lovely balcony with an enjoyable street view and the room decor was charming. The size of our room was roomy enough to suite our needs while in Paris. The bathroom had good lighting and the pocket door was a solid door which I appreciate for a change after staying in 6 hotels in 1 month and 4 out 6 had frosted glass bathroom doors. Personally, I think glass doors look pretty cool but not very practical for bathroom privacy. This hotel offers free soft drinks and bottled water replenished daily in your room's mini fridge. All the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I don't speak French except for a few phases and the staff made me feel at ease and comfortable with speaking to me in English. The hotel offers breakfast for a fee. I included it in our room reservation and I believe it was worth it. They have a nice variety of breakfast options to satisfy including croissants, pastries, bread, eggs, veggies, waffles, pancakes, cheeses, fruits, meats (extra kiddos for having poultry sausages aside from bacon for guest who don't eat pork). Breakfast is served Monday through Friday from 7am to 10:30am and until 11am on Saturday and Sunday. Another great thing about this hotel is that it offers complimentary snacks in the lounge from 2pm to 2am. Mostly cakes, cookies, juices, tea, and coffee. Also, this hotel chain provides customers with a network around Paris where you can stop into any of their hotels for snacks and to use the restroom whenever you want.

The room upstairs was a bit smaller than expected, which did dampen things at first. However the clean sheets, complimentary coffee and tea, strong water pressure, and the uber amazing heated towel rack really turned things around. The hotel even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and a WiFi hotspot to travel Paris with (since we stayed for a week). Location is off the Main Street, but still very close to the busy areas and near subway stops. If you don't speak French, the concierge can help you make reservations for restaurants or museums or other activities. Checkout was easy, and calling a cab via the concierge was a piece of cake. Overall, a lovely experience that I would highly recommend anyone else to try. I know I'll be coming back to this hotel soon.

The shower was literally right next to the toilet with absolutely no separation. I kid you not, not even a curtain. I guess you could multitask by washing your hair while you took care of business. The TV did not work and creepily enough, an employee came to the door as soon as we noticed the issue... She never came back either. We also had a stellar view of the street and could hear from every single person yelling on the street. I was fed up with this and took it up to the desk. When I recited this list, the employee was not apologetic and begrudgingly changed us to another room. It was decent. The pictures are from this upgraded room which was on the 4th floor so we could open our windows. They claim to have AC but it is locked at certain temperature and INCREDIBLY weak. I'm talking like the little fans that you wear around your neck. There was no fridge (even though the room from hell did), no shower curtain, BLACK MOLD, and a crack toilet seat that'd pinch you everytime you sat on it. The only good thing about this place is how close it is to the Gare du Nord but otherwise, terrible accommodations, unreliable staff and pricey!

The showers are tiny and I could barely fit through the shower door. I saw the shared bathroom and it was neat and clean. You pay extra for breakfast which is in a unit next door. It's in a great location in Montmartre. A walk away from Blanche and Abbesses station, and sacre-coeur and Moulin Rouge. You can go to Coquelicot for breakfast. Get their sacristain (almond pastry). Then go to Gilles Marchal for the tastiest fluffiest melt-in-your-mouth madeleines. And don't forget to get chocolate-covered salted caramel macarons from Christophe Roussel. The room was spacious enough for one person and it had a TV but unfortunately with all French channels and two British news channels. The only drawback at this time is that the room did not have Heating. Only a huge plug-in heater. The staff was nice and there was indeed an elevator. Be aware that this hotel is across from a bar and a restaurant so it can still be a little bit loud around 2 a.m. with some chatter outside. If you get a room with a view, it's a nice view of the cobblestoned streets of Paris. I recommend this hotel and I would stay again if I am planning to be in Montmartre.

Trigger Warning: bedbugs…read more The short: we had a horrible time in Paris because of this hotel, it's long-term bed bug infestation, and the manager's decision to not do anything about it. The long: when we first checked in to the hotel Regina, (at 2 pm - the check in time) we ended up having to wait for 3 hours to go to the room because of the "cleaning fumes". First sign. We stayed in room 1003. If you are staying or get put on the first floor, you will have bed bugs. I promise. We are from New York - we have dealt with bed bugs before. We know the signs. We kept waking up with horrific little groups of bites. In two nights the amount of bites we had were making any task excruciating. In all honesty, we probably should have gone to the emergency room - but we don't speak much French. And we wanted to try to enjoy the rest of our trip. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and figured they could be mosquito or gnat bites. However, I awoke at 6 am one day with one crawling on my arm. We jumped out of bed and counted, taking pictures. TWENTY. Never in my life have I seen an infestation this bad. It was absolutely foul. We ran downstairs to get someone and literally had to yell in the lobby to get someone to show up. The guy had been asleep in a back room and barely spoke English (which is fine, we were in France and it's not his job to speak English) but we demanded to speak to the manager. He said he would come at 8:00 to take care of it. THREE AND A HALF HOURS LATER the manager graces us with his presence (half dressed and incoherent). He reimbursed us in full but through asking a series of questions we discovered that THEY KNOWINGLY PUT PEOPLE IN BADLY INFESTED ROOMS "we clean them so it's okay!" WRONG. The bedbugs are living in the mattress, headboards, and walls (and probably the nasty moldy carpets). They were completely aware of the infestation and chose to put guests there anyway. Also, due to the harsh chemicals (which, after use, you should not sleep in that room for TWENTY FOUR HOURS not THREE) we have had sore throats. Although that could have been from the moldy, disgusting carpet. The shower has no barrier, just a drain in the bathroom floor, so the carpet gets soaked every time you shower. The fact is it was nice they reimbursed us but it was clear they'd had guests this upset before. It is completely irresponsible and inhumane to put paying guests in their rooms.
