Because of this profits-first mentality and blatant hypocrisy in how they view assistance during troubled times, I would recommend you take your small business elsewhere. They use loopholes in the language to avoid prorating, and to say your lease is longer than it is. It looks simple until they start "explaining" that, for example, though it says for a one year term, then goes month to month, your "lease" doesn't end until after you give notice-- which also means if you want to leave May 15th you must tell them no later than April 1 ( but it also says 30 days) and if it's April 3, well your lease ends May 31 now and pay a full month. Even if your lease began May 1 and a year would be... May 1. "There is no end date," I was told. "It ends when you give notice..." Month to month isn't a lease, StudioWorks. it isn't a separate mini lease. but they get away with it because tenant rights are all self help unless you can afford a lawyer.

The location looked promising, but the office floor was filthy -- I had to cover it with my own carpet. The electrical was failing: lamps flickered or cut out when I plugged in a kettle. It got very cold in winter because the heating couldn't keep up. There was also a break-in on the second floor that left several offices ransacked. Worst of all, the owners have been promising to return my deposit of over $700 since January. Every time I follow up they either ignore me or say they'll "look into it." Five months on, still nothing. The deposit dispute is now headed to small claims court.

When I moved in, there were spiderwebs and dead bugs everywhere and now Im being told that I need to clean them up, paint the entire place, and so on in order to get my deposit back and not accrue additional fees. Considering that the space was literally used to store my stuff for three weeks since I couldnt actually work in there, I find it hard to believe that theres a laundry list of issues that now need to be remedied to avoid charges. When we originally rented the garage style unit it was unpainted, the manager said if we would accept it unpainted (it was just bare sheetrock) then when we left we wouldn't need to paint it. They raised the rent like clockwork, but that's fine, it's business after all. After over 3 years we decided to leave since we were barely there. Before doing so we double checked with the manager on the paint situation. Two different managers told us not to worry about it, there would be no charge. Then a month later we received a bill for $550! (It somehow cost $550 to paint a tiny 8x14 room?!?) Well they kept our security deposit. I reached out to the management office about the situation and they replied with a surprisingly hostile letter basically saying screw off and don't try taking legal action. They headache wasn't worth the $500 so I guess they won, but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

They come and fix your problem quickly after you put work order. (They call or leave a message is very nice. ) The biggest complaint is the office staff. They are very RUDE!! I went to pick up my package the other day, and this lady didn't even say a word when I came in. I was trying to be nice and was keeping smile, and all she said was "what?" I told her that I came to pick up my package and she just tossed my package without say anything. She didn't even ask my unit number, so she gave me a wrong package. I was like "are you serious?" "Do I need to sign on the sheet that I got my package?" She completely ignored me. What's wrong with her? She never remembers my unit number even I've been picking up my package frequently. And my name of course. Office close Sunday, Monday, and they even close office over 2hours during the office hours. Who knows when office is open. The previous manager Elin, she was always kind and nice. She always remembered my name and unit number since the day I moved in. I really miss her. I miss the way she cared tenants. I have never seen our new manager. There are two different people with rude attitude works at office is manager assistants. I complained corporate office several times about their rude staff, but seems like it hasn't been any changes. Two of my neighbors including me are moving out after our lease is done because of these rude staff and over $100 rent raise. I understand the new policy, but why we have to be treated like this? I feel very unfair. Seems like they care too much building a new dumpster to look property better. They don't really give a S*** about us. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! I've always been treated with professionalism and warmth at other REGUS locations, but this was the first time I felt unwelcome. I left feeling frustrated and won't be coming back. I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to a location where I'm greeted with a smile and feel valued as a customer than return here. Definitely won't be recommending this location.
