She made it worse, and there was a solid horizontal line separating the bleached peekaboo "original" and where she thought she was "streaking it up to my part line". I actually cried it was so bad. Luckily a friend referred me to a locally owned salon who did a fantastic job fixing the Supercuts stylist's mistake. I am in contact with corporate to refund me what I paid Supercuts and the cost of the fix at the locally owned salon. Supercuts... Never again.

I went in for a consultation with a Artrina Wright who works in Dutchess' salon, because Dutchess said she was a good hair cutter. She seemed so nice and professional I decided to go with her. I told her my daughter will be calling her to pay for my visit, she won't touch your hair without the money up front, NEVER HAD THAT BEFORE. My daughter text her days ago! and never got a call back. I call to ask her is everything still on before my trip the following week. She never answered her phone for me either. I left a message, and she called me back within minutes! I had already told her I don't go to anybody's business, where I'm not respected or talked down to like I'm a child. When she called me back, she did exactly, what I told her I won't tolerate, I don't care about your personal life just give me my $105 haircut. So beware, she seems nice at those consultations, but she's "fake!" I'll be more careful when I make a new appointment before my trip.​

I went into Lengths with a friend of mine who was suffering from a bad haircut. She had a date…read morecoming up, so wanted to get a temporary fix in the form of extensions or a topper. The store was neat and full of hope with a pretty good selection of both. We were greeted by Mary, the sole employee on the floor this particular afternoon. We told her precisely what we were looking for and she told us the extensions were a bit expensive and probably wouldn't work for what my friend wanted. My friend told her cost wasn't an issue, so Mary then told her that their selection of colors was limited and it would be tough to match her hair (my friend's hair is light brown with some natural highlights). At this point, I'm feeing like this girl absolutely doesn't care if she makes a sale today. The three of us started looking through the extensions, and within two minutes found a perfect match to my friend's hair color. My friend said she'd need two packs of the extensions, and asked if Lengths offered a service to cut them there to the length/style she prefers. (There is a salon off to the side in this store, so it seemed like a fair question.) Mary told us that no, they do not do that there, and explained that two packages of extensions that my friend was intending to "chop in half" would be very expensive. Again, she assured Mary she was willing to pay whatever the cost would be (It turned out to be less than $200). Before finalizing her decision, though, my friend wanted to try a hair topper to see if she could get the look she wanted without having to find a salon to cut it for her. Mary walked us back to where the toppers were and pointed out the ones that are made of human hair. My friend chose one from the top shelf, so Mary got it down and showed it to her. When my friend asked to try it on, Mary informed her it is $5.00 to try it on. My friend agreed to pay it and then Mary put it in her hair in front of a mirror. The cost of the topper was nearly $600, which, surprisingly, Mary never mentioned given her history of pointing out how expensive the extensions were. I happened to notice the price beneath the topper, but my friend did not see the sign. When I said something about the price, my friend decided to go with the extensions. Mary took the extensions to the register and waited for us as we walked through the store looking at the other products. She never offered to help us find anything else and stood there quietly while my friend and I talked about her hair and just random topics. Mary was not ever at one point friendly or helpful. If my friend had other choices, we'd have left and gone somewhere else. If you know exactly what you want, there's a good assortment here of extensions and toppers and wigs. They also have other hair accessories like brushes, shampoo and products. However, if you need help picking something out, this place is probably not for you.

Karen was able to get me in within 5 minutes. She did great. My favorite part about getting my hair cut is the wash. She massaged my scalp for about 2 full minutes (best 2 minutes of my whole week). Then she did my perfect cut. I will only let her touch my hair from now on.
