I was in need of a hairdresser desperately as my hairdresser all of a sudden close their door. My hair is shorter than shoulder length, and I needed my grey covered and some foils. I also wanted to trim and a blowout. The woman on the phone was very nice and very friendly and said l when I inquired on the price " you're looking at $160" and I will put you down for a Color and root touchup. Then I heard someone saying something in the background and she said may I put you on hold when the call came back on. It was a different woman's voice who sounded older and told me -now mind you site unseen. -It would start at $230. $230!! START??They haven't even seen my hair they don't know if I have thick hair, thin hair how short my hair is - how ridiculous is that?! Needless to say I didn't make an appointment and I would never step foot in that place and I would tell everybody who asked me for a good hairdresser about my experience with them on the phone.

Two days prior to discharge, my Mom was excited about going home; however, she was embarrassed that her hair had not been cut and styled in a number of weeks. I called two local salons asking if any stylists would be willing to come on site to Sky Rehab to cut and style my Mom's hair. Unfortunately, the first two salons I spoke with (by phone) thought my request was somewhat odd, they were short on the phone, and unable to assist. Fortunately, my third call was to Bella Salon & Spa. The receptionist I spoke with was very cordial. I quickly explained the situation and made my request. I then overheard the receptionist repeating my "odd request" to a room full of stylists. Fortunately, I heard a "I'll do it" and the phone was handed to Callie. I quickly explained the situation and my request to Callie. She very quickly agreed to assist. I wanted to make sure I had enough cash to pay for the service and tip, so prior to hanging up, I ask for the total charge amount and she said "it's free, I want to help your Mom feel beautiful." We worked the out details for Callie to come to Sky the next day (a Friday) at 3:30 PM. Around lunch, Callie texted me that she was running behind and would likely be 15 minutes late. Callie arrived on site at 3:40. I greeted Callie at the Sky front door and escorted her to the courtyard where my Mom was seated in her wheelchair. Callie was so sweet to my Mom treating her like a VIP client - asking how she was doing, talking about my Mom's grand kids and wanting to make sure her hair was cut and styled exactly how she wanted it. Once Callie finished, she gave my Mom a hug and I gave her a very nice tip as I escorted her back to her car. This was Callie's last style for the week and she could have easily passed on the request to go home early to spend time with her two sweet kids. I will forever remember and be grateful for Callie's generous act of kindness.

Ruth Ann highlighted my hair, the highlights were good, but she did not do the back of my hair and when I question this, she said I did not tell her to do the back. The treatment from her was from a very immature girl. My daughter was to get a hair cut and I was to have all my hair highlighted. She disappeared so many times that she could have cut my daughter many times. She said she did not have time to style our hair. I gave a S20.00 tip, two wrongs did not make a right. I wished I had asked to talk to the manager of the salon. First and last time going there.

I went to see Christin yesterday and she did amazing!!!! My color is perfect and exactly what I asked for. She trimmed my hair perfectly as well. She removed all my dead ends and kept my long layers. My hair looks so healthy and happy today. CM obtained a loyal customer today. She also squeezed me in within 2 days of calling and requesting such a short notice. That's awesome. Good stylists don't need gauges , guards or blade limiters. I should have used a photo rather than explaining what I wanted in my trim. I had made my wedding hair style appointment FOUR MONTHS in advance. The day of my appointment, I was 15 min early and.... LONG STORY SHORT... waited for OVER an hour with no Regina. I found out she was at another WEDDING party's location. She had gone to them and did not budget her time appropriately. Not only was she doing the brides hair, she was actually doing ALL OF her bridesmaids hair as well! She didn't have to do that!! She knew she had to be back to her salon to do MY HAIR! She did all those other ladies hair because it was a good opportunity to make MORE MONEY!! She told me (when she called me directly AFTER I had watied an HOUR and she still was "on her way") that she didn't know she would be doing everyone's hair, and that if I came back, she'd style my hair "for free". I want to know how many brides, ON THIER WEDDING DAY, have extra 1.5 or 2 hours to wait on others??? NO ONE! Wedding days are BUSY and things have to be planned accordingly, which is why I made my appointment FOUR MONTHS in advance. At the end of the day...I had no professional hair style and had to do it myself. Needless to say...I felt like I didn't look near as good as I should have on my big day. I am still very hurt by Regina and was made to feel like I wasn't as important to her because I wasn't "worth" as much money as a full wedding party. Fake eyelashes were an up charge, blush wasn't applied, and several people didn't even have lipstick applied. The airbrush came out spotty on several bridesmaids. The bride was told that hair and makeup would be $115 for each member of the wedding party. The day of services, everyone was charged $145. The bride even pre-purchased a gift card to pay for the mother to have her make up done. The owner then said that that was not the cost of make up that it was more than what the gift card was! The bridal restroom had a stained toilet, was out of paper towels, and was disgusting. Do not go here for wedding needs!
