Had 3 accounts with regions for less than a year. A savings and two checking accounts, and when we switched it was from Bank of America. At first we liked regions as it was a welcome change and things were easier. Now let me say one of our checking accounts is for bills (so it's zeroed out most of the time between checks) and the other checking account is for our everyday spending. Today is pay day and with over $1200 being deposited we cannot move money from the bill pay account. I call and apparently a new rule was put into place THIS week where if you have a zero balance it automatically closes your account. Now this may not seem like a big deal to most people but when there is $2400 deposited in that account monthly and nothing changes as far as that goes why would they close it?
