Synovus bank deserves no stars at all. Unless you enjoy someone shrugging their shoulders and…read moresaying "Sometimes, that just happens" when you encounter a problem. The phone customer service folks, if you can call them that, are ill informed concerning the bank and its business and offer no help at all. They are pretty good at, "Sometimes, that just happens". Likewise, leadership in individual banks are not helpful either, and when they cannot answer a question, they deflect and attempt to squirm their way out of the situation...all the while defending the bank. Frankly these folks are not good stewards of my money or your cash either...that is, unless you accept, "Sometimes that just happens" as an excuse for the bank and its many issues... Close you account now...I know that as soon as this latest issue is cleared, I will never ever enter synovus pinnacle whatever again... I guess having poor customer service and disrespectful, unhelpful employees costs the bank customers..."Sometimes, that just happens."

Wellsfargo USED to have great service .. DONT BANK W THEM…read moreANYMORE. We won't be doing it anymore. This location specifically (Canton, Ga @ Riverstone) had literally ONE Cashier (Teller) to help customers on a Friday. The "Desk Personal Bankers" were saying they're "helping" someone.. even though there's NO ONE sitting on her desk.. only Kevin Logan was extremely helpful, polite and tried doing as best as he could under understaffed circumstances. Now, the same for "Managers"...he/she didn't even bother to go help customers. It's a shame .. this bank is a national force and it's convenient to be able to bank anywhere in the country. A shame for sure

I walked over to a lady sitting at a desk and asked where I should wait to open a new checking and savings account. She asked if I had an appointment. I didn't know I needed one. She pointed to a set of chairs and told me to have a seat and someone would help me. I sat down and waited. After 30 minutes of waiting without getting any assistance from anyone at the bank, I walked out. I went to Truist Bank and was immediately met at the door and asked how I could be helped. Within 30 minutes, I had a new checking and savings account with them. That's the correct way to provide customer service. Wells Fargo should take notes.

The only difference between this one and the one they just closed in Woodstock is that they have NO DRIVE THRU.....what? what kind of bank makes you get out of your car and have to go in to talk to a real person....unbelievable. The place is located in the Publix shopping center right off of I-575 across the near Michael's and Arby's. The parking is plenty but its near the shopping center entrance and exit so watch out when you're backing out because people have a tendency to only think they are the only ones on the road....

Usually, a large line forms in the entryway and even outside. The congestion is also not conducive during COVID-19 while people are trying to social distance. Also, every time I have had dealings with one specific bank manager here, my encounters have been unpleasant. She acts like she is solving world hunger and that my banking needs are extremely difficult to accomplish (all I needed was to open an account). She has even made judgmental comments to me. She also acts as though she had no time for her other co-workers and blames them for bad communication in front of customers.

I've been banking with this bank (even through multiple mergers and acquisitions) and I have always…read morebeen satisfied until recently. Long story short, they approved and allowed a merchant to deduct funds from my debit card although I had proof that I never received the goods. It was a tuxedo rental shop that went out of business and they claim that even though they were not in business, they honored customers that paid in advance for the tux rental. They told me the tux would be in 1-2 weeks prior to my son's prom event, well, guess what, 2 days before the event the tux was not in and the merchant stated that they could not guarantee delivery and they will not refund my money. I did not want to take the risk, especially since their stories changed multiple times. I told them that I wanted my ordered cancelled. I called the bank and guess what...they refunded my money (yay!!); however, the merchant called the bank and told them that I did not call to try and cancel and that the tux came in the day of the prom. Really? Guess what, Community and Southern reversed the refund they gave me and gave it over to the merchant!!! I called and told them that I've been a long standing customer and how could they do this without my approval. They said that it was the debit/visa card area that made this decision and they can not override this once the decision is made. Unreal! I plan on pulling my accounts from this bank and going elsewhere where they take pride in their customers and they watch out for scammer merchants like this one.
