Don't like how I have to have phone number on file, but glad that now I can finally use the app after being suspended like 20 times I can see and utilize the benefits of my cash back credit card. Personally not a fan of Chase bank (nothing against this particular location) because they've given me issues about my identity before.
My family of origin is a problem so I can't help if I have to change my phone number and had to relocate multiple times. I don't have much work history on my credit file as my family has interfered with my ability to work which is why I don't have consistent annual income.
My last working year my annual income would be about $50k but had to leave work because my other parent also interfered, so my income is not consistent to use for identity verification either.
The woman at the bank made the assumption because I changed my phone number that is why I got locked out of my online app which is not true at all, as I've updated my information plenty times before with absolutely no problems. She didn't listen that the reason I was suspended from online access was that I wanted to open a checking account online through my the app.
after I had closed old accounts for having issues with chase suspending my checking after depositing a $500 money order. I didn't think they would just have me on some kind of blacklist over a $500 money order preventing me from ever having a checking account with them again. I only use them for my Amazon credit card, that's it. Even if I was better off financially, I wouldn't ever want to do personal business with this national bank, I don't trust them. read more
