Then advised my insurance only covered 40% for the frames. So i said thats odd as i had got $400 glasses last year from a place on ATL and only paid $54. Then tried to tell my wife that my 8 year old daughter needed women's glasses because of her size well i saw them and they seemed like they were falling off. So i told her to take the kids somewhere else. Well what do you there was NO copay per my insurance and they covered $150 for the frames and covered the majority of the lenses. So she called Lee County Optical back and the manager advised we accept your insurance we just don't participate with it. So before you go verify that they Participate with your insurance so you don't get screwed over. A friend advised that she brought her 6 kids here and they said they all needed glasses, she then brought them to another eye doctor and they advises only two needed them. Again i wasnt there for that. So I would go somewhere else. It will save you alot of grief.

Waited over an hour before being pulled in a room and asked the same info I had already answered during my first visit. After that waited another 10 or 15 minutes to go into the next room to wait on the doctor to come on the screen. Technician there was the best and had excellent customer service. Had to wait about 20 minutes for the doctor to come on. He finally came on and was very professional and nice. Get out in about 20 more minutes. Proceeded to ask the Technician was there anyway she could let the next person know I needed to be leaving and get out ASAP due to already being late for work. It was 11:33 at this point. Spoke to the manager to see if she could get the young man(Josh) to go ahead and help me as he was just sitting there chatting with the other female that was assisting another customer. He immediately got an attitude. Another customer behind me asked how long I had been there. I told him a little over 2 hours. Then Josh proceeded to yell across the entire building from his seat. "MAM PLEASE GIVE ME ONE MOMENT!! with an attitude of course. So unprofessional. He eventually called me over very rudely. Had I not needed my replacement contacts I would have left long before this. As I sat down in front of him. He had an attitude and kept saying very unprofessional things towards me to the other technician," Oh not today, oh not tomorrow, not Monday either. In reference to me as if I was not sitting there. Told me to sign the pad. Never explaining what I was signing for, even after being asked. He smartly responded, " I don't know. Just sign it and it'll print it out and then I can tell you what it is. He continued to be rude and very unprofessional. I told him I would be calling corporate. He stated that he did not care because he would tell them the same thing. Spoke with the manager again who was sitting right there but never once corrected him or said anything. I asked her did she hear what he was saying, she said yes I did and it was definitely disrespectful and unprofessional and that she had already reported him to corporate. Apparently the only doctor in the office this week broke something and can't work and the other two doctors can't be bothered to come in and cover his patients since they neglected to have anyone on call in case emergencies happened. But they will be glad to reschedule me for an appointment in a couple of weeks. I'm extremely frustrated that I have waited 2 months, took off from work, and rescheduled my life to get this appointment and this office is acting like they are doing me a favor by rescheduling to a day that I am at work and would have to take another day off. I understand emergencies happen but their lack of coverage for their patients is a huge problem. Be aware that even though they charge you when you miss an appointment, they may be quick to cancel yours.

We waited roughly 15 to 20 min before he was called back. Dr. Chew was very nice, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to my father's concerns. He was diagnosed with cataracts a couple of years ago so this is a follow up visit on the next step. The sitting area is clean and spacious. Considering Covid is still strong in the country , signs are posted to wear a mask and you can only be accompanied by 1 relative. The seating arrangements are spaced between each chair. There were 10 patients sitting on our arrival. From what I observed they move pretty quickly on getting you registered and seen by the doctor. The location is easy to find. It sits on the corner (right side) you can't miss it. It is a 1 way street .... Dr Chew has 3 offices - Americus, Montezuma, and Leesburg. If you're in the area, check them out. They have a large selection of glasses and shades.
