I originally hired Pure Lawn Solutions to mow my lawn and found out they do so much more…read more In addition to mowing, these guys did an amazing job power washing years of green buildup off my siding. Right now, they're tackling some much-needed landscaping cleanup--laying new fabric, sifting debris out of the river rock, putting it back neatly over the new fabric, and reinstalling the edging. If you're looking for two hard-working guys who do excellent work with lawn care, landscaping, and power washing, hire Cody and Josh with Pure Lawn Solutions. Josh did a quick assessment, later looked at the weather forecast and he and the owner Cody came the next day, hours before snowfall. My lawn looked amazing. I was incredibly grateful. Recently my snow blower wouldn't start. Well, just like my leaf situation I needed my snow removed before it got packed down too much and before another snow fall. Pure Lawn did it again. They have definitely won over my business. My snow covered driveway was clear. These are great folk. They do what they say they are going to do. The quality of work is second to none.

Our finished walkout basement flooded and I had heard all of the insurance renovation nightmare…read morestories. I was not optimistic about the time frame for restoration or the process for putting our nightmare behind us. Van Dam was on the job the same day as the flood, brought in huge dehumidifiers and a zillion fans and had the entire basement demolishened and dry in no time. After working out a quote for the insurance company and us agreeing to the scope of the work, everything moved very fast. I was in construction for 20 years, and I know how a well-run job works. I've also found that it's rare! Van Dam, their employees, and their contractors were amazing to work with! Shane and Darrien, their carpenters, and general go to people, were very professional and did expert work. Rob, my project manager was always prompt to respond and to get things done. We had about 800 square feet of finished basement and from the time they started to its completion, it was only about a month. The renovation included replacing drywall, removing and replacing a subfloor, painting, baseboard, removal and reinstallation of bathroom fixtures and cabinets, carpet and plank flooring, They moved the furniture and put it all back when they were done. All in all, I am very thankful for the work Van Dam did for us and I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

I tried to use them once before and they are cost prohibitive, IMO…read more Last July, a merchant that I use weekly had his building struck by a car. The company came in sealed off the area that they were going to work on within a few weeks. It seems like. It is now January of the next year and they have done nothing since. Their sign is on the side of the building, advertising that they are the ones that will be working on it. I wonder when that will happen?

I have used DeYoung for landscaping, lawn mowing, and sprinkler system startup/shutdown/repair for…read moreseveral years. In addition, I had contracted with the for snow removal but the driver would cause damage to my lawn. Each time that I mentioned that to DeYoung, as required by my contract, the driver damaged even more of my lawn, ignoring markers and driving an entire truck length into my lawn. I decided to give notice to cancel the snow removal contract and look elsewhere for that portion of my service. Today I attempted to submit my summer contract for lawn mowing. I had signed a contract in the fall for landscaping this year. My e-mail was returned stating that DeYoung had chosen to not honor my contracts and to cease services. Why - because I let them know that their snow plow operator damaged my lawn, as required in my contract, and let them know that I was not happy? In my opinion, they were unprofessional and didn't honor their own contract requirements and were malicious in cancelling the contracts because of an issue caused by them. Maybe the nephew who took over the business needs more experience and lessons learned. To be clear, the landscaping and lawn mowing crews were amazing.
