She came from a traditional play-based preschool, and I was initially unsure about Montessori, but it has been one of the best decisions we've made. The thematic units are thoughtfully planned, and she comes home excited to teach us about continents, animals, science, and so much more. The individualized approach allows each child to learn at their own pace, and she has been able to work well above grade level in math and language. The teachers are wonderful--not only do they provide an excellent academic foundation, but they've also done an incredible job helping my daughter develop emotional regulation and confidence. She genuinely loves going to school every day. They strike a great balance between a rigorous curriculum and fun, engaging activities, and the facility is always clean and welcoming. She loves her teachers, all the art projects and fun events they have all year long. My son just recently started in the toddler program and he is loving being at school too. He comes home singing songs, pointing to colors and counting. He talks a lot about his friends and teachers. We love seeing the pictures of the kids working and doing fun activities each month. One of her goals this year is to perfect her side aerials, and NLD is the perfect place to work on those skills. Not many competitive dance studios have a separate space for tumbling, so that's a huge bonus. The owner, Ashley, and all of the dance teachers have been incredibly welcoming. One thing I really appreciate is how transparent they are with team fees. Before signing the contract, they clearly explain where every dollar is going, which gave us a lot of confidence. They also organize monthly team bonding activities, which is such a wonderful way to build friendships and create a supportive team environment. My daughter also loves the workshops they bring in with experienced professional dancers from the industry. Some have been here for over 10 years. They also provide bus pick up for my kids school. As a single mother they made my life so much easier during work hours. I always hear about other child cares closing early for constant "meetings" or holidays that not all of us get off. Kinder Care does not do that and very regularly stick to being open for the convenience of their parents. Ms. Cindy and Ms. Amy are two of the staff members that I can name go above and beyond for the company and their families. I would choose Kinder Care for my children time and time again.

When you first enter WriteStart you are either greeted by Caroline or Laura, they are both great people. My daughter really loves Caroline (it could be all the band aids and love - but who's counting), Denice is often in the kitchen and makes these delicious burritos every Wednesday (and although I encourage her to open her own restaurant, she is very happy at work!)... I take my daughter, Angie, into her class, her teachers (Sylvia and Holly) are there to greet her and make her feel at home.. The first time I dropped Ang off, she was crying and so was I. By the end of the week, Angie didn't want to go home at night! My other child Cecilia, really excelled during after school hours there. We weren't able to get her into the after school program, so I needed to have a school that was available during my hours! This place has been great! I've been trying to find more websites to tell people about this school!
