I'll start by saying: it's airport fast food. Ok, now that we've gotten past that - well, it's not Chicago style deep dish, and it's airport pricing. Arguably the portion is small-ish but it's probably enough calories for typical layovers. It's not particularly special, but... It offers me a warm bite in between what would've been (equally if not more) over-priced airplane food. Toppings are generous, and I like the buttery crust. (Like I said, enough calories!) I will confess that I often get one of the pizzas whenever I connect at ORD, and I connect at ORD fairly often....

Outside of the airport I'd give this 3 stars but the quality & price are good for the location, in the concourse c food court. Got the pizza with pepperoni & sausage. Though premade it was still good, with pretty generous cheese, sauce & toppings. The crust has a nice richness & crisp. Some reviews complain it's not real Chicago pizza. I think it's impossible to have real Chicago deep dish in a personal pizza size so this is close enough.

This was fun to stumble upon in the airport. We got delayed and had A LOT of time to kill in the airport. I was craving a pizza and was not expecting to find a personal size deep dish. It had some great flavors and was a good price for being inside of an airport. Was it the best pizza I have had? No. However it was great to have a deep dish. I would recommend this place!

I love having deep dish pizza in Chicago....but when you don't have enough time to leave the airport this place is a nice option. There's a few different locations throughout the airport. Even with a line, it moves fast... since the pizza's are constantly being brought out of the oven. I went with a pepperoni pizza, a personal is cut into four slices... perfect amount. Lot's of cheese and pepperoni....they definitely don't skimp. Crust has a buttery taste but a little dry.....wasn't my favorite. Overall a nice option for airport food.

First of all - airport food. Never amazing. Plus, I walked around for a bit since I had a layover and the food choices weren't exactly amazing. Nothing really popped out. Reggio's "express" name is definitely earned since they are SUPER fast. Luckily, when I came here, I saw a guy from the back take out pizzas he just freshly made/baked and put them on the display. Obviously - I ordered the fresh ones he just made. Honestly, it wasn't bad! It's not your traditional deep dish crust and yes, it's not what you'll get outside the airport gates. But hey, this is airport food. And for around $10, that's pretty good. The pizza was filling and warm and hot. The crust was also crispy, which was nice. I do wish the pizza had more sauce.

Pepperoni and sausage pizza and an Old Style

Reggio's offers authentic Chicago style pizza without having to leave the airport! The service is friendly and the nearby dining pavilion offers great views of arriving and departing flights. A must visit! Easily accessible from terminal to terminal. Thanks!

Helpful and courteous staff, very fast and convenient to order and pick up. Chicken tomato pizza was delicious.

I told myself I wouldn't write an airport-food review but it was actually so bad, here we are. I honestly was trying not to be so harsh, but no one should waste $8 on this piece of dry cardboard that they have the audacity to call a pizza. I'm like really disappointed because I am a pizza fanatic and it looked pretty busy & the cheese seemed to glisten in the case, but the taste and texture was all the opposite. The crust is dense and dry & not 'butter crust' at all. The cheese is dried up and crusted over, not in the good way. The maybe only thing that this pizza has going for it is the sausage. But honestly, if you're extremely inclined to try it, get the cheese because that's probably more promising. Overall, don't get it !! I am SURE there are 194829 other better options here. Also, the pizza isn't even hot! or warm! and it was in a heating case!

Was Reggio's the worst airport pizza I've ever had? No. Was it something I would want to eat again? Also no. I'd say of all of the food options nearby, this is worst value for what you get. The pizza is hardly a meal and definitely not tasty. The staff weren't friendly and were trying to rush all 2 people in line through so they could get back to whatever they do when they aren't selling bad pizzas. Simply put, avoid this place.

Yes it's in the food court in the airport but it holds its own . Certainly better than most neighborhood pizza spots and I live in the NY area . Deep dish style , good sauce and it's hot and fresh because there is a constant line . I'd give it 3 plus but again- it's in the airport

Chicago Style Deep Dish

Located at the food court. Not bad for airport food. Ordered a Chicago Style Deep Dish. The crust was not all that flavorful but held everything together well. Plenty of cheese and sauce on top. The sauce was quite tasty and light. I appreciate that the pizza wasn't overly greasy nor was it overly salty. Employees were friendly, quick, and helpful. Seating is available at the food court. It can get a bit difficult to find. You could always find a seat by the nearest terminal. If you ask for a cup of water, you will only get a cup of ice. There are water fountains near the restrooms and you can fill your cup or water bottle there. A quick and filling meal.

My first time trying a deep dish pizza and it was not bad. A bit dried and barely warm but it was still okay. I've heard the ones in the city are the so much better so I will definitely try some when I go back. Other than that- I would try maybe another restaurant if you are at the airport and have not had it before. Save the best for the ones in the city. It was too much bread

They have won several awards for their sandwiches and are said to have the best Italian Beef in Chicago. With all this being said, this was certainly a must eat on my trip! Their menu consists of their famous Italian beef, along with Chicago dogs, burgers, sausage sandwiches, chicken, and fries. There is definitely something for everyone here. The inside is casual and reminiscent of a fast food eatery. Really liked the yellow accents throughout the restaurant. I will also note that it was extremely clean inside, which is always appreciated. Ordering is simple and they will call your ticket number when your food is ready. All the food is served made to order and very fresh and doesn't take too long to come out! I ordered the Regular Beef, wet, with both hot and spicy peppers per the workers suggestion. Ordering the sandwich wet simply means the bread is dunked in the gravy/aus jus. If you want the real deal, this is how you order it. The peppers are optional as well, but complete the sandwich. The sandwich consists of their famous Italian beef roasted and sliced, served on freshly baked French bread. I can see why this sandwich is so highly regarded. The Italian beef that is made in house each day is tender, flavorful, and just perfect! It isn't chewy or tough either. The sweet and spicy peppers paired nicely with the savory beef. And the fresh French bread covered in the gravy--phenomenal! The gravy adds a lot of flavor to the sandwich. You do have to eat it quickly, otherwise the bread will fall apart, oh but it is so worth it. I got fries with a side of cheese sauce to go with the sandwich. By far some of the best fries I've had. Not super crispy, but not soggy either, the texture was just right. They were salted perfectly and dipping them in their velvety cheese sauce was a treat! A regular sub is roughly 6 inches and quite filling. The sandwiches are stuffed with ample amounts of beef. The price is also excellent considering how much you get. Overall, I would say Al's Beef lived up to all its praise. My sandwich was very memorable and was like nothing I'd had before. Everything is so fresh, between their beef, bread, and fries, it is all made in house. This isn't just some fast food spot, it is an institution. I was impressed with everything I ordered, especially the fries. They take a lot of pride in what they serve. This is evident in their customer service. If you are visiting Chicago, don't think, just go--you won't regret it!

Kinda skimpy on the fixings on the Chicago dog, but still gets the job done if you're craving a Chicago dog. Fries are the type that are greasy to the touch; not my fave style of fries but I know it's a well-liked one to others. Super friendly lady at the cashier (all smiles, patient, and offered menu help)! Also fast service (got my order within a few minutes). I visited on a Saturday late afternoon and it was very chill here (also shoutout to the early 2000's era music playing :p it was a vibe). Overall I'd say it's not a bad food spot at all if you want a quick bite and want to be a little away from the Magnificent Mile crowds.
