However, upon arrival, she found that there was only one white dress in her size. (When she was told differently.) During her visit, the owner contacted the employee my sister had spoken with and made comments implying that additional options were available, but were a size zero. My sister wears a size 6, and the way this situation was handled was inappropriate and disrespectful. She could hear the other employee through the phone. Customer service should always be conducted with professionalism, especially when interacting with young women. I'm not new to formal wear. I was in pageants for a few years. I KNOW my size is a 2-4. I was told to buy an 8 that I now have to spend half the price of the dress for to get it altered. One girl in our group is a size 16 and was told to get a 22! It's costing her more to get it altered than the entire dress costed AND she had to pay an extra fee for a bigger dress size. I get maybe getting it a size bigger and altering down, but all of our dresses are at least two sizes too big. It's ridiculous. Your time and money would be better spent ordering a dress from somewhere else.
