*Update. My original tech is back in rotation and it's great to see her again. I know I suck at making return appointments but it looks like after some time away there's been change in management or something and they've been making sure to treat their clients great. I'd very much so recommend this clinic now especially since the laser therapy works. Their laser removal therapy does work if you have enough hair but the low rating is for them as a business. Luckily they can run fine while having terrible customer service because the machine works. I used to have the same tech every time for my session until one day they ask to teach another girl during my session. I said it was fine because I didn't want to be rude but I was kind of put off. Ever since then I've seen someone different every time. They seem super rushed and annoyed every time. Instead of being diligent they go as quick as possible and are pretty rude. I made an appointment after being gone for about a year and the lady cut me off mid sentence to ask for my last name to make an appointment. Very disappointing experience. I was required to pay the full $1,700 upfront, but saw little to NO improvement from the treatments. Customer service and management felt rushed, and my concerns were not taken seriously. Interactions with management were also unpleasant and unprofessional, which made the experience even worse. Management is very hard to reach, and when you finally do speak with them, the interaction feels rude and unprofessional. She is always ready to fight with clients. I'm not super thrilled and will not be back. I understand being behind, but 55 mins of waiting after an appointment time when people have jobs is unacceptable. When asked if it's normal to take this amount of time we were told by the receptionist that "you can't rush someone with a needle in someone's face" in a very sarcastic and condescending tone. Then once we finally got in the room she proceeded to tell my wife to wait in the lobby. I asked why she couldn't come in with me as it's my first time and she said the room was too small. I truly believe it was either bc we were gay and she didn't approve or she was just being rude bc of the question of time earlier in the appointment. We will not be back. I would not do laser hair removal here. I moved to Florida and began doing laser hair removal with a Viora IPL machine and it gave me better results in one use than my 10 uses at LightRX that costed around 2.5k. I'm wondering if they use less expensive or lighter lasers to keep you coming back and spending more money. Please do research into the type of laser that is being used before you pay this much money. read more

I believe they are way overpriced. They ran a Black Friday for 65% off and I saw no reduction in price. They scoffed because I came in using a Groupon and said there was no way I would see results with those 8 treatments, I had to buy there full package which is way overpriced. They want to see how much credit you can get and use the full amount. I had money that I could use. I did not tell them or let them get me more credit. They are way overpriced. All this place is good for is trying to upsell you on services that don't work. Also, they charge a deposit on some services and when THEY cancel your service it is not refundable, but they don't tell you that at the time. Wow! So impressed with my experience here. I have been looking forward to laser hair removal for years but have always been a little afraid. Finally bit the bullet and I'm so glad I did. The staff was very friendly and helpful at answering my questions. They made me comfortable and Susie and Lily both did a great job! Lily was so fast, thorough and professional. I didn't plan to leave a negative review, but I just called Heather at the Greenville location to report that there is actually no improvement in my facial hyperpigmentation after 4 very expensive laser treatments. Her answer was essentially that this was because I didn't buy their exorbitantly over-priced products. During the consultation, I explained that I couldn't afford these, and I had several conversations with the staff about less expensive, alternative products -- which I bought. There was a "before" photo, but no "after" photo, which would have shown the lack of improvement. They have sent several text messages advertising more services and "offers" but I couldn't imagine spending more money with this company. I still owe another payment for treatments that didn't work. I was scammed out of over $1000. My measurements were taken and lost. No beginning photos were taken. When I inquired half way through the process (after seeing no results), I was given free treatments. Not sure what this was supposed to help, but no interim measurements were taken after we "started over." The staff couldn't care less about my lack of progress. I showed up for a scheduled treatment and they were temporarily closed. No one called me to reschedule. They reneged on the extra appointments, but they were a waste of my time. Don't give these people your money. They will blame your lack of progress on someone who left who "misdiagnosed your treatment plan." Staff is always leaving... The staff seemed nice, but you can't work here and not be honest. So you have to question their integrity and "game face." read more

It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review (just something I never do) but I bought a Groupon for 4 sessions of laser liposuction. Had my consultation over the phone the beginning of May and was told that they were booked until the end of May so that's when my first session would be, which I was totally fine with. I get a phone call 2 days before my first sessions was supposed to occur saying that I needed to call & reschedule my appointment, didn't ask any questions I just called & rescheduled. The next day they could see me was today, June 1st. I showed up to my appointment only to find out they couldn't treat me today because I had been exposed to the sun yesterday (which I completely get) however, the technician (Susie was her name) said I should have gotten an email stating pre-treatment care to which I responded that I didn't receive any information regarding that. She then proceeds to read off to me the pre-treatment instructions (none of which say a single thing about being exposed to the sun) I didn't say anything just listened, then was told I could come back but the next time they could see me was June 25th. Again, I didn't say anything just walked out & left. Absolutely ridiculous how many times I had to be "rescheduled" my guess is it's because I had a Groupon & the store wouldn't be getting the full price that they were wanting to receive. The ONLY positive thing I can say is that the receptionist up front & another black haired lady working up front were both extremely nice & had great customer service, the technician I had I was completely not impressed with as I got a couple of snide remarks from before I left. The owner, at this clinic, greeted me with a warm welcome and addressed what had occurred. I really was taken by surprise and applaud her level of commitment and honesty! The woman at the front desk is rude and condescending. She took my temp and told me it was 100.2. Her response "that's a no go in this place." I told her it was incorrect. She took it 2 min later and it was 82. Obviously it was her machine was malfunctioning. Then I tried to tell her about transferring packages explaining it was paid for in full. She told me she couldn't. The woman Susie who did the treatment was wonderful. But front staff is the face of the facility and needs to do a better job at making clients feel welcomed. read more

This place discriminated against my sister in law who has ALS. She purchased a service for waxing her underarms and upon arrival was denied both the service and refund. They would not wax her arms because she cannot speak in complete sentences. My sister in law has had waxing done her entire adult life. This place completely is a scam and will take your money. The 2nd free visit was with another totally different girl that all she did was tell me that what I was doing was not going to work. That I need to spend another $2000 on a totally different process. I went for skin tightening under my chin and joules (jaw line) They said I needed 8 sessions (1 Week). $1000 I actually had 9 Sessions and nothing has changed. Nothing!!! I am 1 1/2 month out from my last Session and still no change. I have inquired with them and was told I have to wait 3 months after my last session. Which was August 9th. ****Buyer Beware****I had an appointment with LightRx on April 3rd, by which I had redeemed a Groupon voucher for 6 laser hair removal treatments. I redeemed this voucher in February but LightRx didn't have any appointments available until April. Since the Covid19 happened and places were made to close for awhile I assumed that they would call to reschedule, but they have not. My experience at Light Rx was absolutely horrible. They are unorganized and unprofessional, and I have never accused a business of that before in my life.. I recieved a viva treatment for some minor acne scarring. Luckily they took before pictures or they wouldn't have believed what it did to my face. Apparently I had a few invisible blemishes under the skin that the micro needles punctured and spread in an obvious pattern across my face. The staff at the time agreed, took pics, and rescheduled my next appt. They dipped it in alcohol periodically the next time, and it worked wonderfully. However, they lost the pictures before my next treatment and had a mostly new staff. I could tell they didn't believe me, but they agreed to dip it in alcohol periodically anyway. They didn't, and my face broke out worse than it ever has in my life. I even stopped by just to show them how bad it was. It took months to clear this time, but I had already paid for 2 more treatments, so I was going to try again. After speaking to the manager to confirm I still had 2 treatments (which she agreed I did), she informed me the owner would have to approve it though because they had thrown away my tip. I called back and the manager remembered me, but said the owner's final decision was that the remaining treatments were voided because it had been too long... wtf?! Noone mentioned they would expire and/or throw my attachment away.. Who does that?! read more
