Only a couple cars were in sight. This was important. I had no plan to walk into an eyebrow shop facing stares by waiting ladies. I walked in and no one was there but the owner. I asked if she could thin my brow a bit. She said "I do mens brows all the time". True or false, I felt more comfy. I told her "I don't want lady brows"! She chuckled and said "No problem". She locked the front door and escorted me back to an adjoining room with a long face up lounger. I laid on the lounger and she commenced her craft, taking thread and weaving it around and within my brows. Pluck, pluck, pluck! It's not like a facial or massage. Every pluck is like a bee sting! On the positive side it only took about 4-5 minutes. She finished and passed me a mirror for self inspection of the work. Much better, but I asked her to revisit a few graying hairs. She kindly complied. She followed up with a quick solution for the subtle stinging sensation and sent me on my way. That's about the least expensive service a guy will find these days. $12 plus gratuity was the toll. This was a 5 star visit. Don't tell my golf buddies!

I booked a haircut with the "level 5" stylist Neely at this salon on Thu 5/2/24. She gave me probably the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. She has no talent, she needs to go back to school to learn how to cut hair. I told her I wanted long layers, showed her several pictures of women with long hair, told her I like the Jennifer Aniston style with long layers and not to cut more than 2 inches of hair, because I like my hair LONG. I had my hair shoulder lenght. This person does not hold back to cut mercilessly without any structure. I blame myself for not stopping her, she put the chair away from the mirror but still, I should have paid more attention. I thought she knew what she was doing, but she did not! She didn't show me the back when she was done. I saw my face in the the mirror and I thought she had cut off more than I expected, I paid and I left but I realized the next day when I washed my hair that she had left my hair a massacre. She left a hole in the back of my head, left my hair thin all over my head and especially at the ends, she cut inside the hair for no reason all over my head, the layers don't blend well at all. All my hair is uneven with short layers without shape. I complained to BreAnna the "manager", I asked for my money back, I didn't want to compensate someone who has done so much damage to my hair. She told me she was only offering me an "adjustment". Adjustment? To cut my hair even shorter! No way.
