    The Cowgills

Great theatre with a vibrant energy and wonderful performances! The venue is intimate with high-quality accommodation, including comfortable seats, bar offering and snacks. The sound and lighting quality is excellent and truly enhanced the viewing experience. I came for an exclusive performance by the Cowgills and had a blast. The service and workers are also very nice. Lastly the theater is handicap accessible which I thought was considerate. The selection of drinks was plentiful with wines, cocktails and soft drinks. There's also popcorn, candy and other snacks!

Randy Roberts, female impersonator extraordinaire. My cousin has a soft spot for drag queens and bought us tickets to go to this show for Christmas. The theatre is quaint if you want to put it nicely. Rundown might be a better word. I think there is a way to balance the past (antique seats in the theater) and still modernize (um, update the potty rooms please) and the Regent has yet to reach this harmony. Or maybe the aren't trying. I was very bummed about having to walk up a crapton of stairs to use the facilities (we were there early and the ticket lady wouldn't let me use the one in the theatre) and then shocked when, upon sitting on the throne, my feet stuck out from under the stall door a good 10 inches. There was a sign about being kind to old plumbing or some bs like that. The show was good, lighting, sound, etc. A little musty inside but like I said, antique.

    Mary Poppins sing-a-long!

Martinez Napoleon, as the lead Drifter, had an absolutely amazing voice and stole every scene he was in. The entire cast was strong, the music was timeless, and the staff at Reagle were welcoming and professional. The show exceeded my expectations and was an unforgettable experience from start to finish!

For a small theater serving the greater Boston area they have fabulous performances. They put on some of the most historic plays, as well as some holiday plays and shows. It looks like the theater is in the back of a school however, the seating is somewhat comfortable.. I've actually been to a few of the opening day performances and once in a while, they have a spread in the front hallway where you can get to meet the performers and producers. This takes a very personal memorable experience. There is nothing like speaking to one of the actors right after the show.. parking is plentiful with a huge lot right outside the door. During intermission, they usually have concession set up with small items like ice cream, candy, and drinks. If you're into the theatre and want to see a well practice performance of a play that you like I think you'll be very happy if you came over to the Reagle. I definitely will attend many more performances here. FYI, all the seats are great so don't fret about taking one in the back. It's still not that far away from the stage. Oh, and let me just mention most of the performances I've been to there's a live orchestra in the pit right in front of the stage.. buy yourself a ticket. Have a great time.

I am taking an evening pottery class for adults at the ACA and it is fantastic. The instruction and…read morethe space and size of the class are all very conducive towards learning, and I am learning and growing a lot! The studio is on the top floor of an old building near the center of Arlington, a densely populated town. Plan ahead to park, or be Zen about the general traffic situation in the greater Boston area. I recommend the ACA to any adult looking to develop their artistic craft. Especially if you are working from the ground up like me! Poor-quality camp - unfriendly to working parents…read more The teachers are great, but the camps are very poorly run and the space used isn't adequate. The youngest children occupy a very small room, and more than once were kept inside all day in spite of its being nice out, "because the big kids were outside." The management is quite poor and both those running the camp and the promotional materials are unclear about what the camp offers. On its website, the vacation camp advertises early drop-off and extended day but when, on the first day of camp, I attempted to sign up for these, I was told that I was "not encouraged" to use the services for my child. The total lack of clarity in the materials and from the people I spoke with resulted in my being unable to work a full week. I had no warning of this, and those in charge of the camp shrugged it off with a smug smile. It seems they expect all of their families to employ nannies. If you don't, then consider yourself "not encouraged" to send your child here.
