This gets 2 stars because of the price. $2 for a movie is a great deal. ($3 after 6pm, I believe) Just because you offer something cheap or free shouldn't mean everything else goes down with it. The theatre is kinda dirty looking because it needs to be updated and the actual theatre smelt bad last night. Good place for cheap moives. staff did a great job picking up and cleaning. It is the people going to the show walking around talking using cell phones and spilling soda on the floor that messes it up for others. If you go there BE Patient. More action in the seating area than on the screen. Make sure you arrive on time and have the right theater I walked in to the theater at the wrong time. read more

This is one of my favorite movie theatres to go to the price point is awesome and i love how authentic it is. However awhile back I was at the concessions ordering my food but because i seemed to be taking awhile (even though there was no one else in line behind me) the young man helping me seemed very rude and annoyed with me. His name I believe was Daniel and gave off the energy of not wanting to help me and when I finally ordered he tossed my snacks at me. and when i left he whispered under his breath "thank god" and for this very reason I have to rate this place 3 stars. This place sucks , it's always dirty, the managers are racist and rude. I seen them inappropriately touching each other , it was disgusting. The seats are filthy , the employees are ignorant. And they treat you like they're better then you. They recycle their hotdogs and use old slushee cups that were dropped on the floor. The manager Megan is a rude stuck up little girl. The manager johnathon is weird. I believe he was making sexual advances at my son, it was creepy. And don't forget your cell phones or wallet there because they steal them . This place sucks. Perfect place to catch a movie before it hits Red box. I like seeing movies on a big screen. $2.50 daytime $3.50 evenings. Some theaters have newer seats and have been newer carpet and better sound. Some theaters have not been upgraded. The place feels like from the 1990's compared to all the newer places within 10 miles. Could use a crew that really keeps on top of the bathrooms. I don't care its older but keep it clean!!!!!! I will keep coming back for a cheap escape. All those who complain about this place pay full price at the all the new theaters and clam up! read more

This theater is cool if you enjoy people talking and not watch the movie or enjoy having crying kids for half the movie ... don't even complain because the staff doesn't do anything they take 20 min to come inside and check what's going on and to top it off the staff doesn't even tell them anything they just stand there and let the baby cry .... and "Shhhhhhh" every 5 min is annoying as well. This is an older theater where you can catch last chance movies on the big screen for a mere $2 a ticket. The seats aren't real comfortable, but honestly for $2, I would have gladly sat on the floor. Ok. Just kidding. Never, under ANY circumstances, touch the floor of a movie theater unless you're into chewing the gum you find under a table. I will start by saying, you get what you pay for. That goes for cleanliness, atmosphere, screen/sound quality and STAFF. The staff is by far the most bottom of the barrel I've ever seen at movie theaters. It's appalling they actually insisted on looking in my purse, which based on other reviewers, this is their practice. Oh please, go clean your restrooms and work on training your employes to be around the general public! Most others have commented the same thing in their reviews. There are no other theaters we've ever been to like this. The employees need lots of work at this place. We won't be returning, $2 tickets just are not worth it. When you need something to do, and you don't want to venture to far from home...and you'll settle for any movie...this isn't such a bad place. It's not very glamorous or big and their selection isn't always the best movies. I personally think, that they should lower the price of a ticket for how the theaters look and the selection. I purchased tickets 4/13/14 to see Ride Along, and while watching previews I felt a mouth grab my entire elbow, to my surprise there was a Pit Bull inside the theater. I brought this to the Manager on duty at the time attention, and he advised the Pit Bull was a service animal. The owner of the Pit Bull had no jacket with papers displaying the pit Bull is a service animal. I was frightened and scared to return to watch the movie. The manager never once ask if I was OK or apologize for this even. This is POOR customer Service and I will never be going to this theater again and I am pursuing legal action. read more

Great price to watch movies showing several weeks later. Can't beat that and their dollar hot dogs, as I do not like paying full price myself. I agree to just overlook the slightly run down appearance and lack of modern amenities.. And to watch your movies before sun down.. I have personally noticed that more immature teen groups come out and could possibly ruin your movie experience too. Only $1.50 on Sundays ! I have 4 kids under 9 , this is when I bring them to a movie. I pay under $25 for there refillable popcorn, a large drink with refills also , and my 6 tickets. I would pay around $100 at Harkins. read more

Wanted to see a movie that wasn't playing anywhere else. Otherwise, we wouldn't have gone to this theatre. The floors were covered with trash, not only in the screening room, but the lobby as well. Luckily for us, there was no one in the screening room when we got there, so we were able to find seats that were relatively unbroken and sort of clean. The seats were low and uncomfortable, but at least they were hinged - unlike many of the others. read more

I went tonight and boy was it busy! (Not a surprise since the tickets are so affordable). They did run out of ice, but as soon as they were aware, they went and got more. The manager, Meagan, was so nice, she explained that the ice machines had just run out and that they were getting more. The soda was still cold and I had no problem coming back out to get some ice a little later. We love coming here and always have such a great experience. read more

Since we moved to Moreno Valley, we've pretty much stopped going to first-run theaters: there's really no point in paying the exorbitant prices for Harkins when we've got the cheaper alternative, even if it is slightly lower quality. Sure, you have to put up with the occasional screaming baby whose parents don't seem to understand that the people around them would like to HEAR what's going on. But, for the most part, most people have more sense and practice courteous behavior. The theater is a great deal, and if you can wait the month or two (sometimes I swear it feels just like a few weeks) for the movie to pass from the first-run theaters to this one, you'll save a lot of money. Take advantage of the hot dog deal they've got here, too. They're nice and cheap, and tasty, too :) read more

The so called management has proven that you just need to show up to get a paycheck; using common sense for the best outcome is not required. The "managers" Martin and Andrea FAILED at customer service, professionalism and common courtesy. Their clothes were dirty and greasy in appearance. I know this bc I had to make several trips to the theater addressing a mistake THEY made. Four of my teen's friends (ALL UNDER AGE 18...they are 15 and 16) were allowed to PURCHASE tickets to see the movie IT (scary clown movie ugh). All of the parents of the teens knew that this was the movie that the teens wanted to see AND CONSENTED if they were given the opportunity to watch the movie. They both the tickets and waited for the last friend to arrive. The last teen was denied bc they LOOKED under 18 and didn't have ID. When it was explained that the others had already been allowed tickets, the manager took the tickets from ALL OF THE TEENS and gave them tickets to MADEA rather than giving them their MONEY BACK! So now I have to go back to the theater to find out why when the mistake was made in allowing the purchase in the first place!! It's holiday vaca time, they all just wanted a refund, this way the kids could go hang out and eat BUT NO now you have me and two other adults running back and forth to the theater bc Martin lied and lied again. He said someone else bought the kids tickets then said they could watch the movie with someone over 18 then after we bought tickets for an older cousin AGE 20 that showed ID we were called back to the theater bc Martin had his staff member to have everyone that we bought tickets for, leave the theater bc no one was 21. This went on from the 4:10 shows until the 7:15 show...I paid the price of giving up my plans so that the teens could watch the movie. I asked for a way to contact corporate and Andrea became dumbfounded when I asked her to provide me with the theaters policy. She just stood and pointed at the sign behind me. Nothing smaller? Um no. Nothing that I can write a managers name on? "My name is Andrea that's all I can tell you" Way to go regency! "Kevin" should be promoted! He was the only one let me reiterate THE ONLY ONE that could explain to me what was REALLY GOING ON! MARTIN HATES HIS JOB AND THIS WAS A POWER TRIP IN MOTION bc someone on his watch made a mistake...easily corrected: let them watch the movie they paid for or give a refund. read more

This movie theater is just terrible.We missed the beginning of the movie because the service at the snack bar was super slow even though we came 15 minutes before the movie started and not to forget their prices for snacks are way high. Higher than the normal movie theaters. They really get their money from the snacks since they check bags making sure u don't smuggle anything. This place is great, relatively clean, cheap ticket prices AND concessions. Compared to the UV this place is heaven (the uv theater just really really sucks though) a good place to come if you have nothing to do and low on money, but if moneys not an issue go to harkins. read more

It's not perfect but the movies get to this theater pretty fast, The $1 hot dogs with a concession stand purchase, and $ 1.50 Sundays are cool. Every once in a while if we go to see PG or PG-13 movies there will be loud mouth kids. But for the most part I am glad they are there. It's great to go with family and even on date night. read more

For a Sunday afternoon spending time with kids this theater was nice and price worthy. As for the other snacks available they are a bit pricey can't really complain and besides since we have kids with special needs along with various allergies we have to bring our own snacks where ever we go anyways over all it was nice to take our kids out to see a movie.
