They really need an overhaul and actual management. Bathroom was trashed. The changing table is still broken. It's been two years since my first visit when I noticed it broken. Carpet peeling up. This theater used to be a better place to go to but has gone downhill lately. During a movie tonight there was a large family talking like they were on their couch throughout the entire showing and we let know the manager know. Trystan, the manager, suggested moving us because he didn't want to put effort into dealing with the problem people. He was thrilled to refund us to get us out and not have to deal with the problem. Go elsewhere to watch your movie. I think the problem with this theater is that the management at this location just doesn't care about the experience of their patrons and that's a huge reason why people are watching movies at home instead of in theaters. read more

I saw Wicked here a couple weeks ago and was so excited for theatre snacks as it's been a minute since I've been to the movie theaters. Upon ordering concessions, they were all out of nachos, pretzels, hot dogs... basically everything except popcorn. That was kind of a let down but the theatre itself has comfy chairs that recline. We enjoy this theater, it's a little far but it's worth the trip, the people are nice and the theater is always clean!

Comfortable recliner seats that you can choose in advance if you buy your ticket online, a good variety of snacks, and they serve beer and wine. Bring a blanky, get a beer and some nachos at the concession stand, and let yourself escape into a good movie for a couple of hours! read more

This theater is well-maintained. It's position in the building is a bit awkward, but overall it's a great theater.

This was our first time at this theatre on the BLVD. I was able to purchase the tickets on my phone ahead of time on Fandango. Parking was not an issue in the back of the theatre. When we walked in the concession area didn't have a line so it all went pretty quick. I like the combos that they offer. One was a large popcorn, Soda and a slushy. Exactly what we order at other theaters, nice it came in combo. I also like you can get your own soda and they had vanilla Dr. Pepper, score! Because we were there on Terrific Tuesday the cost of a ticket is $5.75. If you join the free rewards program you receive points on ticket and concession purchases. I wouldn't say this is a fancy theatre but I am okay with that I am used to the one in my small town, this one at least has reclining seats. The reason I am not giving more stars is the bathroom situation isn't the best. One bathroom that is gender neutral for three theaters on the bottom floor. It wasn't the cleanest, the urinal was pretty gross. I think some men/boys were having trouble with their aim and no place to hang my purse. There was a sign saying there is a bathroom upstairs, I think that's a pain when you are trying to hurry back to the movie. One cool thing they offer is Flashback Wednesday, only one show time so you will have to check their website to keep updated. This is a weird theater. They do not open the concession area until 15 minutes before the first movie starts. When they finally open nothing hot is ready. Popcorn machine isn't on, the cheese for the nachos isn't warming up, only the cold items are available. Ordered the nachos and popcorn and was told they would bring them to me. 5 minutes go by then 10 minutes then the movie starts so I go check, not 1 kernel popped in the machine, it isn't even on. Got my nachos and went back to the movie. The movie starts to glitch non stop, a lady sitting by us went to go report it. She comes back and says they're aware and will fix it. 10 minutes of glitching and skipping the lady and her family leave. I get up and go check on the status of the movie and my popcorn. The manager is running around not knowing what to do, the young worker at the concession area is just as lost and the popcorn machine is still not on. I go back to the movie and they restarted it, okay it was only 10 minutes in plus my kid really wanted to watch the Mario movie so we stay. Not even 5 minutes in it starts to glitch again then shuts off completely. We leave and go to the cashier to get a refund. We then have to wait for the manager to come back to get the refund. We get a refund for our tickets and popcorn that's it. We threw the rest of the snacks and drinks away and left extremely disappointed. I don't see this place lasting much longer. read more

went here to watch deadpool 2 and I gotta say I was a little disappointed. After repeatedly mentioning that it was my first time there they failed to orient me and tell me what to expect. They do bring some things you order from the concessions to your seat which is pretty cool but didnt tell me until I asked (again, my first time here so didn't know that and they failed to pass on that information). Value wise, it's a good deal. Quality is not very great as the movie had quite a few glitches. Overall, I think that if they work on their customer service it would make the experience better and more people would come as the price is very reaonable. Hope they work on treating their customers better as I live a few blocks away and would love to be a frequent customer instead of having to drive far. read more

It doesn't matter how luxurious the place is if I can't hear the movie. This is the perfect example of progression in the types of entertainment in the Antelope Valley. But my issues is like all else it feels a bit like a joke -the entrance wasn't easy to find....not usually an issue in most places. Lucky I found it... unlike the elderly couple who kept trying the closed coffee shop next door. - I did go to watch Downsizing. "Spoiler alert" It was terrible, but inherently It had nothing to do with the movie..I was just unable to get into the movie since the audio was off when the movie starts......I thought this was for dramatic effect........I was deeply mistaken.....then when I'm trying to inform the box office the movie has no audio. They ask me to wait in line....I do it take a minute then I inform them again the movie has no audio..then they fixed the issue and the movie progressed. No apologies. No Movie Restart. No Refunds Offered. This was my first time at this location, I will be back tomorrow, and see if the newest movie theater in town is even worth going to. Very disappointed... Went to watch a movie after the renovations and re-opening. The cashier and concession staff have no idea what they are doing, literally. I was ordering my tickets and in the middle of talking, the lady walks away to help the concession guy, for several minutes. She did it twice. Went into Theater #3. The entire movie all I heard was the projector going. Audio was terrible. Couldn't hear the actors at all. Although assigned seating, my husband and I were forced to move seats, to the front second row, just so we could hear the movie. Even then, the projector noise could still be heard over the movie. I went here today to see "A quiet place," and I really enjoyed my visit. The seat was comfortable. The theater feels brand new. The sound was fine. The movie was interesting. I have no complaints whatsoever. I was hesitant to come here because of the bad reviews, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. I will definitely be back in the future to see other movies! read more

I've gone to this theater twice now - once to see Isle of Dogs and once to see A Quiet Place - and had a stellar experience both times. The seats were amazingly comfortable (it was basically like having my own couch), and I didn't notice any glitches or sound problems (or anything of that sort) like other reviewers have written. There's also a big gap between each row of chairs, so you don't have to squeeze in front of strangers to get to your chair, which was great. The staff was personable enough, and super patient with me as I stumbled through using my Movie Pass account for the first time. Super affordable (same price as Cinemark, including the $5.75 Tuesdays deal), and with a great used book store in the same building, this is definitely the theater I intend to frequent in the future. read more

The theater itself is great. Seating is really comfortable and I after experiencing it, I don't want to go anywhere else. My problem is regarding the service we get when we go. All the younger staff I've encountered are great. They're nice and personable. My issue is with the middle aged gentleman that works there...I'm assuming he's the manager. In every instance he's been downright rude and condescending. I initially thought this was just the way he was with everyone after seeing him treat others this way as well, but I now believe he's just racist as I then saw him treat white customers differently...like day and night. So yes, I recommend this theater as far as the theater itself goes. But if you're a minority, just be prepared. read more

Great theatre, very comfortable! Nice variety of movies and show times. Easy online tickets. $5.75 Tuesdays. 3 stars is for A) a rude, cranky manager....get some sleep bud.... and B) a lack of restrooms. The theatre has ONE single user restroom for the whole theatre, not 1 mens and 1 womens, BUT just ONE for 3 screens. I think the community was hoping that when Regency took over they would fix this, but noooooo. There are restroons upstairs, around the corner, down the hall.. . Completely inconvenient. The whole 3 story multi venue building shares this one set of restrooms. Sorry, but thats lame. Step up Regency. read more

I really like the Flashback Wednesdays, it is a fun way for me to watch movies I had never seen on the big screen and introduce them to my kids. I love the comfy chairs as well, but I did not enjoy the one for all and all for one bathroom. There are probably 50 or more people in different theatres at once, drinking soda, beer or coffee. Snacks are great! Seats are comfy, best in town! And they have discount Tuesday! The only problem I have is as a paying customer for ALL of my tickets is that there is no personal checking to make sure everyone entering the theaters has paid for a seat which results in rowdy people entering the theaters and even sitting on the floor. read more

I went here for the first time because I got a Moviepass card so it was free. This is a wonderful way to see a movie with you feet up and your back reclined, next time I going to wear some sock slippers so I can cuddle up in the seat. I ordered a pretzel and the brought it to me when the movie started, they also are getting their liquors licence so you can have beer and wine while you watch you movie. The only bad thing I can say is they only show 3 movies a week but they are new movies. I will diffently be going back next week. read more

This theater was always my favorite in the past. I was excited to hear is had reopened after a remodeling. We made this our Valentine Date night. Sad to say this was the worst Valentine date location we could have picked. The old menu is history so we didn't get out intended dinner. They have not received their alcohol license yet so no beer for my boyfriend. The new seats were nice but I was slipping out of them through the whole movie. If they could recline just a little more. They still deliver your food to your seat if you order pizza. During the movie the fire alarm went off. everyone started to exit the theater but someone told the first people to go back to our seats. We sat about 15 minutes watching the movie with the alarm still going off. You would think that they would turn the house lights on and the movie off during a fire alarm. Once the alarm was finally turned off we continued to watch the movie for about 10 minutes. ( with out warning) All at once the movie shut off and they rewinded it about 20 minutes back. During this whole ordeal not once did anyone address the audience unless you got up and walked out of the theater to question the employees. I miss the old owners and their menu. read more

I use to be a regular movie goer and the BLVD Cinema is by far the most comfortable movie theater I have ever been to. DO NOT go if you are tired. You might actually fall asleep it is that comfortable. They have cool tables that fold into the sides of chairs and their chairs recline! How awesome is that. And they recline like regular recliner chairs so you don't have to put your feet on the back of the chairs in front of you. Plus they have seats for two so you can snuggle with your bo. And the other cool part is you can buy beer or wine for the movie. It's almost like being in your own home. Negative thing is I can't pause the movie to go to the bathroom. Oh well read more

This was my first visit to this theater. The seating is nice, the food was good but they still have some issues to address. The AC was not on in the theater and wasn't turned on until at least half way through the movie and only after several customers complained. There is only one restroom for everyone and it is only for one person at a time and it was dirty and had no toilet paper(the second restroom is upstairs through a maze Of hallways). Went on Monday to see Us. Theater was clean bought a beer from a local brewery. I like the fact that Regency supports local businesses and sales their products. I ordered popcorn but wanted the popcorn that just started popping. The manager Karl said he would bring it to me at my seat. A few minutes later he brought my popcorn. I love this theater the suits are really comfortable and the viewing environment is extremely nice however if you're handicapped you'll be less happy with the theater it only has one row of seats that are handicap accessible and they're all at the very rear of the theater the farthest away from the screen the other seats you have to walk downstairs to get to and if you go out of the emergency exit out of the back of the theater there's no way to get to the ground level of the theater either better set of concrete stairs that you have to navigate so if there's a fire and you're handicapped you're totally going to burn very unhappy reporting to the Ada. read more
