Thankful…read moreI had Clorox wipes with me because our room was given probably less than 5 mins to get cleaned. The furniture is outdated, the pillows have lumps, and I could hear everybody and their mamas conversations. When my husband went to check in they asked him weird questions like "Are you married?" Or "is your wife here" when he responded yes. Saying they wanted feedback for further hotels with pools. Trying to get him in for a free breakfast (probably for a timeshare.) Room has a fridge, coffee maker, ice bucket, two beds, two sinks, shower with tub, two tables, tv, lights, and closet. There is a balcony with a table and two chairs as well. Out in the hall you have the ice maker, microwave, and vending machine. Overall, not bitter but not worth the price we paid.

Julie Dillenbeck was incredibly accommodating, patient, and kind. She met us with calm reassurance and made what could have been an overwhelming situation feel manageable and positive. The following day, she and several other instructors remembered my daughter and made a genuine effort to help her feel comfortable and encouraged. That level of attention and care does not go unnoticed. Kindness truly matters, especially when little ones are trying something new and parents are holding their breath. We are so grateful for the experience they created for our family.

Our family bought in to Mountainside Villas about 5-6 years ago and have had nothing but amazing,…read moremutli-family vacations here. The units are enormous, with space to spread out. Very well stocked and enormous kitchens, high ceilings, large windows and situated beautifully on Massanutten Mountain. Wish they had propane instead of electric fireplaces, but other than that, this place is great. Most of the units appear to have the major stuff updated (Kitchens, Baths & more) but it is a more rustic with older decor, but okay to put your feet on the coffee table sort of place perfect for families. They have access to all of the other resort stuff on the mountain as well.

Well... I put off reviewing this site until I was able to off-load the timeshare that was "gifted"…read moreto me by a relative. Thanks, but you can have it back. Our week was 48--right in the middle of nothing. It's the height of off-season, so understand that my review may be tainted by the fact that most "things" are closed, there's no snow, and everyone is gearing up for the storms to come. The condo was nice. Well-equipped and cozy. Kids loved playing in the downstairs "hot tub," but the water got cold before the entire spa was filled. Upgrades will be needed at some point...but not sure that they'll survive the timeshare tradition. I was lucky to find someone willing to take this off my hands. Paying the annual fee was only slightly less than 3-4 nights at a decent hotel elsewhere. If you're able to buy into RCI and enjoy the benefits of banking and playing the weeks/points game, this is a decent start. I wouldn't return every year. Particularly in the off-season.

Scathing Airbnb Review (Policy-Safe) This booking was…read moremanaged by TripForth, and the experience was unacceptable. Our group of 20 was scheduled to stay during the severe winter storm in Virginia in late January, when the state had declared a state of emergency and roads were widely reported as impassable. For safety reasons, we did not attempt the trip and never stepped foot in the property. Despite these extraordinary circumstances, TripForth refused to issue a refund or even offer a credit toward a future stay. As a result, we lost over $2,000 for two nights at a house we could not safely reach. While weather is uncontrollable, management's response was entirely within their control--and they chose to show zero flexibility, empathy, or consideration for guest safety. For a large family group, this was an extremely costly and frustrating experience. I strongly caution future guests: if anything goes wrong, do not expect reasonable communication or accommodation from this management company.

I will never use TripForth again to rent anything. The customer service SUCKS.... I contacted…read morecustomer service on July 13th the day I left the rental townhouse, and did not get a call back until a week later; after I made three phone calls to them. When the Manager finally called me, I told her I would like to get some type of compensation, because I did not get a full three day stay and that we only got a half day on Saturday. The only The feed back I received from her was, we are sorry, but we only compensate it we booked you in the wrong unit. You will have to contact Massanutten resort to compensate you. Then the Rep goes on to say, Massanutten manager James said they will not compensate you because it was nature and not their doing. This is what happened. I rented property at Massanutten Resort at the Regal Vista Townhomes. We were there from July 11 thru July 13th, and paid close to $500.00 for those two nights stay. The property was nice, there were a few problems with one TV not working and the ice machine. Maintance was called out to fix the problems, but was unable to fixx it, so they brought out a bag of ice and pulled it in the machine. They stated they would come back, but never did. We arrived on Friday, our checkin was 5:00pm (half the day gone). On Saturday we had a chance to make the best of our time during the day. Later that night, we started watching tv, starting dinner, to unwind; while waiting for my daughter and family to arrive. Around 10:00 out of nowhere, the power went out. It flicker once, came back on and then again and completely went out. We could not each our dinner, because we could not see. We had to use what was left of our cellphone lights to see. We tried on our cellphones calling the front desk, the phone was busy all night. We then decided to go to bed, it was pitch dark and the power was not restored until 6:30 am the next morning. As a result of the power outage, my husband insulin was damage, I could not use my cpap machine, most of our food got spoiled, my grandson cried most of the night, because he is scared of the dark. I am very disappointed with TripForth and will make sure that anyone I know that goes to Massanutten or any other resort will never use them for rental services.
