When I walked in there the place was very clean, spacious and designed well. I noticed another stylist that was doing a very nice job with coloring another client hair. My stylist was very friendly and punctual with my haircut and styling appointment. She really knew about cutting hair and she styled and cut mine that was fabulous and flattering for me!! just now New My…read moremother has been getting adjusted and Massage there for a while. She had a massage therapy appointment today and wasn't feeling well. She asked me if I wanted to take it instead of her And that she would pay for it for my birthday, which isn't a few days... I am also a massage therapist I love getting massages anytime possible. So I agreed. I showed up and told them that my mom had wanted me to take her appointment and she wasn't feeling well and the receptionist which was very rude. Informed me that since I was not a current client, I could not be seen today by their massage therapist And that my mother would be getting a $95 no-show fee. I explained to her that I thought this was very silly and that I have been a massage therapist and business owner for 15 years and that's a crazy policy. And was told well I'm sure that you would like your clients to cancel in enough time so that you can still get paid now our therapist will not be getting paid because your mother is a no-show. I replied with when my clients aren't feeling well and they have somebody take their spot. I am very grateful For them to take initiative and fill the spot because then I still get paid and I have someone to work on. It's not my fault that your guys policy is not letting your massage therapist get paid. I might've also said that they were assholes. Which I definitely stand by that statement. As a massage, therapist and business owner, I am absolutely appalled at such a policy that hurts clients when they think they're doing something to help out and hurts their therapists as well. Ship this place and go to The medical Massage place in Centralia. My mom had been going there for 10 years prior and we have never had a problem like this. Which she will be returning to this place as well.

It was odd, because all of a sudden i had a hard time getting through for treatment. My phone messages went unreturned for an inappropriate amount of time. When Brenda finally reached out to me she snapped at me "i cant see you anymore because you're vaccinated! I can't put my clients at risk!" i have never heard such craziness out of a professional person before this! I am not sure how she would've even known that I was vaccinated, or if she just assumed that i was because I worked in the grocery industry, either way, it was completely unethical and unprofessional. She left me with my butt hanging out in the middle of a lawsuit and without treatment for no good reason. I felt confused and hurt by her treatment.

I loved her combination of conversation and talking me through the process. I genuinely enjoyed her company and it was relatively painless all things considered. The salon is very clean, adorable and inviting. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered water. They had glasses and glass straws instead of disposable or bottles and I liked that. The receptionist was very kind and friendly. When I went back the service room was bright and very clean. They had personal hygiene wipes available to freshen up which was nice as it was hot out today. I took note of the good hygiene practices as Katie used a new stick every time she dipped in the wax, had fresh towels and bed cover when I arrived, wore gloves and wore her hair pulled back, asked me about temperature, and many other things. My experience was well above my expectations and I will definitely be back to see Katie for my wax as well as other services!

I came in for foils on my hair, and while my stylist was very nice, I was honestly shocked by the…read morefinal cost and additional charges. What I anticipated would cost around $125 ended up being: * Partial Foil (11-30 foils) - New Guest: $110 * Extra Color Mix (1/2 oz): $10 * Women's Haircut: $49 * Color Between Foils: $55 Subtotal: $224, plus tip. My main concern was not just the price itself, but the lack of communication about the additional charges beforehand. I contacted the owner, Kaylie, to discuss my concerns. One issue was being charged an extra $10 because the amount of color originally allocated was apparently not enough for my shoulder-length hair. I was told the product is expensive. I was also surprised by the $49 haircut charge. Only about an inch was trimmed from the back of my hair, and it was a very minimal trim. I understand salons have set pricing structures, but I did not feel the service reflected that cost. Additionally, I was charged $55 for "color between foils," which was essentially root color. Again, this was never clearly explained to me in advance. When I spoke with Kaylie, she acknowledged that the stylist should have gone over all pricing and explained that their services are priced à la carte. However, that was essentially the end of the conversation. There was no effort to resolve the situation or offer any adjustment despite acknowledging the lack of communication on their part. I have never been to a salon where I felt so nickel-and-dimed without prior explanation or consent regarding added costs. I fully expected to pay extra for a trim, but not $49 for what felt like a very minor service. Unfortunately, I left feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Had the situation been handled differently, this review could have been very different. If you decide to visit this salon, I strongly recommend asking for a full breakdown of all charges beforehand so there are no surprises when you check out. Also check other YELP reviews, I wish I had as others have had the same experience.
