I booked an appointment for a full pedicure which lasted about 30 minutes. The nail technician lady was friendly and did a good job on my feet. The foot massage and sugar scrub were definitely my favourites! They have a large selection of nail polish colours to choose from. You'll definitely find more than one colour you will want. My heels were pretty dry prior to the pedicure but is now softer. There's only a bit of dryness on a small spot on one of my heels. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!

My friend was coming from Brampton and was a bit late, so they made a huge fuss about it asking me firmly when she'd be here. Other clients were listening. Anyway once my friend made it, they barely did any treatment to our feet during the pedi's. Literally zero massage - not even 30 seconds. When asked if they could add in some massage - again made a fuss about timing and said you should have mentioned about it while booking since we have other appointments. I was only asking for a 5 min massage. For the next 30 min there were no other new clients seen. Extremely disappointed and won't return!

I really enjoy Popular nails because the experience is really enjoyable, the owners are very friendly and the staff as well. The quality of work is fantastic and the service is speedy. Both myself and my friend go bi-weekly and neither of us have left feeling disappointed or unhappy with the work done. I would highly recommend Popular Nails to anyone in the Guelph area looking to have their nails done well!

I also had a dip manicure. I am use to having dip and love that the dip lasts 5-6 weeks without chipping. The product used for dip manicures at Aura does not last and began chipping within 5 days. I had a repair done but after a week all the nails were chipped and cracking. My daughter and a friend also had a dip manicure and we all experienced the same chipping within the first few days. I would not recommend paying the premium price for a dip manicure here. Perhaps the Shellac would be better.

I completely destroyed my brows from over plucking back in high school and ever since going to Rupal, she taught me to grow them back (oh it took a lot of time and patience) and has shaped them perfectly. I get a lot of compliments on my brows thanks to Rupal. I've also gotten laser treatments, waxing and mani pedis. Literally a one stop shop!! And Rupal is always available which is the best thing. We've gotten to know each other over the years and she is definitely someone you can easily talk to and confide in.

Thank god I took the chance! Now, I've been coming to Rupal for probably over 5 years! She has really transformed my eyebrows. Now, I can go a month without threading and there's barely any growth. They don't get bushy or anything. They just stay as the shape they're supposed to be! It takes time, but you will notice the difference. In the beginning, you will have to keep getting your eyebrows done every few weeks, but eventually, you will be able to go longer and longer without touching them. Rupal does not make your eyebrows overly thin like some places. She gets them to the most natural looking state for your face. I can't forget to mention how sweet and easy going she is! She's very honest and easy to talk to. If you're looking to transform your eyebrows this year, come see Rupal!

I found this gem in Fairview Mall about a month ago. I went to see Wonder Woman at the Cineplex VIP…read moreacross the street, but it was sold out (surprise, surprise). I was overdue for a manicure and when I googled what was still open in the middle of the week at 8:00pm, this was the closest one. They were gracious enough to fit me in and Bri took very good care of me. Yesterday, I went for waxing, manicure and pedicure. Again, they fit me in with short notice and my daughter as well! I was reminded why I came back. The spa is tucked away at the very back of the salon, hidden by frosted glass. It is serene, with muted lighted and relaxing music. The pedicure area reminds me of a Roman bath with the tile and cushions. Maha and Tacita were wonderful and attentive, both very fun and talented ladies. I especially appreciated Tacita who gave extra attention to my (very shy) daughter's feet, with very patient exfoliation and an extended foot rub. Maha has a very gentle touch, and when she massaged my hands it was the perfect end to a long day. I will admit that I gravitated to the Asian nail salons in the past based on price. I must say that the prices at Tonyc are not that much higher and can be the same if they are running a special. The products used are not harsh and the air does not have the pervasive solvent smell so common in many nail salons. Definitely worth the little extra $, and this is coming from a certified penny pincher. We'll definitely be back!

I got shellac manicure done at this salon and it got chipped in less than 24hrs. When i went back (in less than 24hrs) to get it fixed the manager was very rude and the aesthetician (Natalie) put the wrong color and the chip is visible. When i asked them to remove it completely so that i can get it done somewhere else and they can keep the money for the service if they want. In response the manager asked me to leave. I am hoping the salon will have the decency to contact me and apologize. I have pictures of the mess made, if the owner would like to see it. I would highly recommend the other salon called Natural Solutions, also in the mall.
