Got the Regal app at home. At the 12:10 Barbie movie I received a discount on the ticket and a free popcorn as a first time app user. The man behind the counter was friendly. Good deal! Liked the laid-back seats. The previews, as usual, ran too long and were not geared to the women sitting there. Would liked to have seen different previews. Good parking lot. Sign? There isn't one on Darrow Road, and the intersection has no traffic light. The movies is behind the trees. read more

Very nice theater since its rehabilitation. Wish they offered a wider selection so I didn't have to go to Cinemark in Valleyview so often.

Nice set up with recliner chairs. The room we were in were not having heating seats, so not sure if all the other ones have it. Our room was pretty small. Also, the carpets definitely need to be cleaned as it smelled like mold!!! read more

Yeaaaaaa baby! They have finally updated ALL the theatres to reclining chairs. Now, I can fall asleep comfortably while watching my movies! Original review: So what, this place isn't the newest theatre with the most sparkley features and reclining chairs. Sure, you cannot get drunk during your movie (at least openly) and no one will serve you dinner that you order on a touch screen. But dude, where else can you get $5 matinees? I have looked and you CAN'T! I will gladly trade all the hub bub technological mastery for a cheap movie experience for the whole family! This is one of my favorite theaters. The staff here is always super friendly and they are never so busy that wait in line forever or have no room in the theaters. Sure, they don't show every single movie that is out with a million show times....but that is ok. Again....$5 matinees folks! The popcorn is always fresh, the bathrooms are always clean (theaters too) and the seating is comfy. Hell, if I recline during a movie I fall asleep. I am old, don't judge me. If I want to recline, I will rent a Redbox for $2 and stay at home! That way I can sleep in peace! The parking lot here has more potholes than the beaches of Normandy. So, drive slowly. Can we appreciate the new chairs they have in their newer screening rooms? My crew and I went in to see the Greatest Showman at Regal and the first showing sold out. We got the next showing without issue since the staff was definitely apologetic about the matter. When it was time for the movie, we walked in to clean facilities and oh so comfy chairs! They were clean, soft and they had automatic reclining features. The picture was clear and the sound was even clearer. At some point in or movie, I thought something was behind me but it was a branch snapping in the woods. 4 stars for clean facilities, nice chairs and great sound while we enjoyed the movie. read more

Yesterday was my first visit here. I've been to a few theaters in the area since moving here in June 2018. I really liked this one! Everyone was nice, the theater was nice and small, and it wasn't freezing inside like most theaters are. Large spaces between the rows of seats so you're not stepping on people when you walk by, and the reclining seats are so comfortable!! Made me feel like I was at home watching a movie in my non existant recliner! I'll definitely return soon. read more

So I went to see a 4pm movie due to being in the area, I went to hudson, expecting to pay matinee price, but the young lady at the ticket desk said 11 please...I said excuse me isn't the 4 pm show a matinee. ..she said anything after 4 is regular price..I said the movie is listed to start at 4..then I pointed to the movie times above her which also said 4...then she told me that the movie starts at 4:10..wth..lets be real for a second, free (downloadable) movies are everywhere now a days, so I would NEVER go to the movie theater unless matinee or seeking the full experience for an action movie. Now 11 bucks is not the issue. This movie theater is a small one and dont offer the multi level (high) seating that I enjoy, nor the sound system. And the fact that they deceived me was what I was disapoointed with the most...if I wanted to pay 11 bucks I could have caught a later show at a theater of my choice... read more

I've always had a great experience at this theater. Every time I go, no matter whom I'm with, I always have friendly service from the ticket counter to the concession stand. Everyone is always patient and knowledgeable. The place is always clean and neat, and the decor up to date. Haven't been back since January after Regal refused to deal with an unruly patron who completely ruined the movie for everyone else by taking pictures with flash and being on her phone the entire time. Loud. Obnoxious. She threatened moviegoers when people told her to stop. Regal... did nothing! Basically was told she paid for her seat and can do what she wants. Well we paid some $50 for tickets (3D on a Saturday night for three people). Regal would not refund; nor did the theatre. Can honestly say we have not been back to a movie theater since that incident. The theater itself is a bit dated, even after renovations. However, the recliner seating is awesome and I really enjoy being able to reserve your seating. The staff is always good and seem well trained. Yes, they are young and can act like it from time to time, but for the most part they are very good to deal with. I love that when you ask them for extra butter on the popcorn, they don't skimp. Some theaters will short change you on butter - not here. They will even give you a side of butter if you want! All in all, I enjoy going to Regal Cinema in Hudson. read more

I used to go to this place before the refurb. It was standard at that time. Bad seats and empty theaters. Now, bug reclining chairs that you select prior to the show. They are all nicely arranged. These are big chairs, so even if you have issues sitting next to someone, you should not be too troubled. Rates are not too bad. Prices at concessions stand are typical. Their app is fantastic. Only issue I have is the same I have with most ticket sales convenience fee. You are self sufficient as they charge you fo it. We saw DP2, 3 tickets and the fee was over $4.00. The parking lot still kind of sucks though. All of that being said, still a fan. read more

It had easily been 10 years since I've been to this theater. I recently visited here for a screening of Star Wars and was pleasantly surprised. Oddly enough, the recliner seats here are more uncomfortable than the ones at Valley View. The reason the theater is so surprising is because most of it still looks pretty dated, especially from the exterior. Upon walking in through the lobby, I actually double checked the address on the ticket because I wasn't sure we came to the right place! Most of it still looks as it did in high school. But alas, the theaters are newer and spacious and much different than the comparative exterior, you just need to get though the theater door. Clean theaters, super easy parking, and a straight shot off of 91. This Hudson theater is probably one of my more favorite recliner movie theaters in the area. I wish it had the soda robots that exist at the Parma one, but it's no dealbreaker. The concession lines were very long, so that could help alleviate that. read more

Wowsers! I recently attended a show at this cinema for the first time in a few years and was BLOWN AWAY by the ACTUAL RECLINERS in the theater. (When I first heard about them, I thought it was an exaggeration about the cushy slightly-leaning back theater seats many theaters have now.) The movie we saw was in a smaller theater with about 6 or 7 rows of seating and the seats are huge recliners with plenty of arm rest room and leg room to boot. Someone can easily walk through the aisle with my legs fully extended out with the recliner. I figure that, with this new set up, they can put less folks per theater but are likely to gain customers from the comfort and ease. This theater, like Cuyahoga Fall's Cinemark, seems to have gone completely to reserved seating and, while some folks hate it, I'm relatively ambivalent. I mean, at this theater someone would have to be about eight feet tall to kick the back of your seat. Plus bigger seats and space overall equals more personal space and comfort! read more

This was my first experience in a theater with reclining seats and I really enjoyed it. I went on a Saturday morning and I think the tickets were only about $5 or $6 which I thought was a great deal. The seats were extremely comfortable and I loved being able to recline and have plenty of leg room. I got a large popcorn and a drink and with the large sizes you can get 1 free refill of each. They also had smaller containers that you could get if you wanted to share your large popcorn with others which is what I did (with a refill it was more than enough for 6 to share). I think the ability to buy tickets online before you go is great because with the recliner seats you have to reserve a specific seat in a specific row, so you can buy ahead of time to make sure that you and your family/friends can sit all together. I will for sure be back to watch more movies in this theater! read more

Love love love this theater! The leather recliner seats make it feel like you're at home enjoying the latest movie releases. The auditoriums are small, which makes it feel extra cozy. I also like that they don't blast you with AC like other theaters do. I never have to worry about bringing extra layers to prevent freezing halfway through the film. My only complaint is that the popcorn can occasionally be stale, but that's a pretty easy fix by swapping it out at the concession stand. Overall, great theater! read more

We recently went to see a movie and since we were in Hudson, seemed like a no brainer to go to the Regal Cinema here. Overall, this is a very good theater with the standard theater amenities--popcorn candy, games, and large spacious seating. Service at the concession stand was quick and the place was very clean. Overall, very good experience. I would like to add that since it was a weekend, I was a bit worried that it would be mobbed. However, super chill experience and lots of theater seats were for the picking. Good place to see your favorite film. read more

I thoroughly enjoy going to this Hudson cinema now. I don't know if all the theaters at this cinema have reclining chairs but when you purchase the tickets you can request reclining chairs. It's a wonderful way to see a big screen movie. Definitely worth every penny. read more

This theater has so much potential, but they stubbornly refuse to take advantage of it. The popcorn tastes burnt and is full of crispy hulls at least 70% of the time. During movies, an employee patrols the aisles once or twice each showing but I've never seen one address a person texting on their cell phone. The previews, and thus the movies, almost always start a few minutes late. I wrote them a very polite letter in December 2011, offering suggestions for how they could improve. They never responded to my letter, and the only suggestion they followed was posting signs indicating which theaters are in the left hall and which are in the right hall. A few months later, I sent a copy of that letter along with a new cover letter to their corporate headquarters in Knoxville, TN. I did get a response from them, along with some free passes. However, nothing has really changed at the theater. Hudson is a financially comfortable community, and the Regal Cinema should be catering to that audience. Instead, I and most of the people I know drive 11 more miles north and go to the Macedonia Cinemark instead. read more

I would consider going elsewhere. My wife and I went to see Godzilla, I believe the first Monday it was out. We ended up going to the 10:40pm showing due to our schedule. Ended up being the only ones there. It was a 3D show. It was horrible. Either the person who set up that showing didn't set it up right or nobody cared. Only 3 "teens" there at the time. Could hardly see the movie it was so distored, even with glasses. Only 2 of teens there when we left. Figured it would have been too dificult for them to figure a refund or whatever. This is "the place" to watch a movie!!!! The Staff is always friendly and professional and a well known fact between us movie fans is that the Hudson theater has the BEST popcorn. It's always fresh and hot. Ever since they installed reclining seats we have decided to watch all the newly released films at the Hudson facility. I love the Regal app and enjoy the convenience of choosing our seats ahead of time. No more waiting in line for tickets. Maybe someday they will serve cold craft beer. Won't be back here. I have somewhat of a hearing disability. I realized early on in the movie that the sound quality of their speakers is really bad and the volume was extremely low. I asked an usher about it and he said to go to the box office. Okay, you're an employee here and I'm trying to watch a movie, so why can't you grab me the headphones? No biggie. So I go and get the headphones and they are loud, but have a strange muffle to them. After about 15 minutes it starts to give me a headache, so I leave. I tell the dude what had happened and he basically just shrugs and says "sorry." Not even an offer to come back and see the same movie!? Shitty service. Movies in the theater suck nowadays anyway. I am usually an AMC person. I like the theater seating, I like pull up arm rests, I like to put my feet on the metal railings over the handicapped section. But alas, there is no AMC close enough to where we live to make movie Saturdays a regular event at their locale. So we went to see Lone Survivor at the Regal in Hudson. We got there 40 minutes early and we were the first ones in the theater. I don't remember the number but it was the size of a medium jetliner. 4 seats on each side, center aisle. We chose aisle seats halfway back and settled in. Within 10 minutes of the movie starting, the entire small theater filled to the brink. Did Hudson decide they just suddenly all wanted to come see the movie at the last minute? Did another movie sell out? I mean, there were teenage girls in there, kids as young as 7 or 8, and large families. Lone Survivor is a war movie. And a brutal one at that. Yet suddenly, we were surrounded by fresh faces that seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Other than the surreal experience of the sea of young faces, we enjoyed ourselves there. The floors weren't sticky. It was clean. The seats were comfortable. The popcorn was actually very fresh! (Husband at his whole barrel of it, which he usually doesn't do.) And though the prices were the same we're used to, there wasn't any surprises and they actually gave me a free bag of popcorn because of my points on my regal card. We'll go back. This theater is probably the worst I have ever been to. Only reason we came here was because we had a gift card. It is way over priced, we bought 2 small drinks and a small popcorn the total was 18$. The actual theater rooms and are tiny. Employees are nice but the venue is awful, many theaters out there are way better. read more

It's been years since I have last been here, I can't believe the amazing upgrades they have made! The seats are the best part, it's like lounging in a leather recliner with enough space to put my feet all the way up. The surround sound system was phenomenal. I was nervous about coming here because it's tiny and older looking. I shouldn't have wasted my time worrying. The theater was great! The tickets were cheaper than a cinemark which was cool. Earliest Times were later in the day which I normally like going early to avoid the crowd. However here it didn't seem to matter. Not many folks here and I was waited on right away to buy my tickets. Then the thing the truly made my day wasn't even a huge thing but it was something that no one has ever offered to me. I bought a huge popcorn to share with my kids and the lady offered me a few extra small containers to split the popcorn. I was so shocked! That really made my day and made sharing so much easier! Regal Cinemas Hudson is a decent, no frills theater. This is the theater I usually go to when I want to see a movie. There is nothing special to it, the seating is normal, it's an average sized theater, etc... It is clean on the inside and the staff is friendly. Overall, if you just want to go to a movie with no distracting features in the theater, go to Regal Cinemas Hudson. If you want features such as stadium seating, go to Cinemark Macedonia or Aurora. read more

The new recliner chairs suck. If you're not 6' tall, your feet don't hit the floor if you sit upright. And reclining, the headrest is in the wrong place. I got a horrible headache from my head being pushed forward. You cannot recline the chair back unless you put the footrest all the way up, which is not comfortable for everyone. My mother's back was killing her after. We will never come here again and it is the closest movie theater. read more

It's nice to have a nearby neighborhood theater. It's still in good shape and it has comfy seats. They keep the theater pretty clean and it's a convenient location off of 91. The theater is good for regular movies, but I took my grandkids to "HOP" the other day and they played 35 minutes of commercials that were not entertaining to children, and the temperature reached at least 78 degrees, not to mention the 5 minutes of the "Turn Off Your Cellphone " frame when the movie was supposed to start. By the time "HOP" started the kids were already tired. In addition, they sold tickets for every seat in the place, so there were obviously not enough seats for families to enjoy a movie together. I feel they are not interested in the people they're serving, only in money. I won't take my grandkids to THAT theater again. read more

Pros: Good seats, good snacks, arcade, clean with police presence. Cons: Expensive snacks, no stadium seats, not the best or fastest service, THEY SEARCH YOUR BAGS FOR FOOD AND GUNS!!! I'm not kidding. My mom went today (09/19/15) and had to get a refund because they would not let her in, even though she paid, until her purse was checked. WTF? She LEGALLY had a gun with her and decided to leave because they were giving her problems. Do yourself a favor and go to the Macadonia theater for a much better time. read more
