The qualifying pistols supplied by Mark jammed about every 4th round. The "range" is his dirty, cobweb filled workshop. As the day ground on people started to talk about how long this was taking, but overall kept themselves . Once we finally got to the test Mark thought this was a good time to preach the gospel. I told him I wasn't there for religion which angered him quite a bit. He told me it was his house and not to tell him what to do nor how to run the course. He finally gave up and administered the test. After the test he lit into me again. He said I angered him and could have walked out. I let him know I just needed my paperwork and I would happily leave. I told him I respected his beliefs but this was not the time or place. While it is his his house, I paid to be there and it was a business. He also tried to dress down others for complaining about how long the class took. Very unprofessional. If this is your thing then this is the place for you. BTW his website had the cost of the course at $100. My card was charged $125. I mentioned it in an email with no response.

My husband and I visited Teer House twice in the last week, once for a breastfeeding class, and once for a class on baby care, both of which could be used as an intro for noobs (this totally describes us, haha!), or as a refresher for been there, done that parents. Teer House is a great big white house off of S. Roxboro Road. It's on the opposite side of the street and a ways down from Durham Regional. It has a big circular drive with very few parking spaces. If a space is not available, you can park in the circular drive in front of the house. The big set of steps mark the main entrance. Typically there is someone sitting just inside the main entrance to mark your name off and direct you to the appropriate location. Both of our classes were downstairs, but there are several spots in Teer House for folks to meet. There are plenty of toilets and they're really good about telling you where they are (not gonna front: this is VERY important info for preggy ladies). There's a Coke machine upstairs, and a few water coolers around. Both classes we took were excellent. It's funny that we took two classes in four hours total (two hours apiece), but the two classes we took on labor and childbirth preparation were for a total of twenty hours (the first was a six-week series with two-hour classes, the second was two four-hour classes). And now I know it's because every parent and child is different. So much of tending to your child's needs is completely arbitrary, but you'll figure it out eventually! It means a lot to have such experienced, friendly, and professional support from Duke. I feel like I have access to a fantastic network of nurses, physicians, and lactation consultants who will be able to help me out whenever I need it. It really is a great program.

The facility offers many general healthcare and wellness classes through Duke medicine. The facility is large and has multiple meeting rooms for various classes at once. While I had some trouble getting us registered for the class itself, since everything is handled by volunteers, I could not get too frustrated with the person on the phone when they did not get our online registration. However, following up multiple times by phone got everything straight. The class we took was informative and contained a good deal of general baby care information. While there were too many deets on breast feeding, the nurse running the class was a lactation consultant, so it makes sense why that was her focus. All in all we learned a good deal and will be heading back for an additional class with a physician and another class on CPR.

My daughter has also thrived at Legacy Christian Academy. She has been encouraged to reach her full potential and has excelled both inside and outside the classroom. Well, the star system is useless. I can't tell you how disappointed we were in the quality of care and education we were seeing. Now, you might be thinking this woman's just being too picky! I'm sorry, I don't think it's picky to expect that someone working in a 5 star establishment be able to spell "sun screams", "sceince", "ice creem", "foots", "eer". I mean, really? And this is just a small sampling of what we found at MORE than one daycare! Well, finally we found Presleybrooke. The stars aligned and this little gem of a daycare with great hours, great curriculum, and great ethics came to our rescue! And did I mention the price is great compared to all the others? We only has to go to Creedmoor to find them. You might think that's far, we did at first, too. But they're right off exit 191 on 85. They actually ended up being closers time wise than ones we looked at in Durham. So, if you're having as much trouble as we were finding a great daycare, I would definitely check them out!

My son is unable to clearly let me know what is happening in the class. So today I decided to call the police on Aubry and the center because again my child only states they are mean to him. He points to his face and stomach. The director Pam is never on premises and when I call to check on him yhe phone goes to voicemail all day! Once i arrived with the police and asked to see footage they have asked me not to come back. I have filed a formal complaint and started in investigation of child abuse.
