I had an experience at Regal recently that I feel compelled to share not because something went wrong, but because of how incredibly right their staff handled it. Last week, I brought my 5-year-old son to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie. He is on the autism spectrum and was doing what, for him, is actually amazing engaging with the movie, enjoying himself, and yes, clapping intermittently out of excitement. Anyone who parents a child with autism knows moments like that are victories. Unfortunately, someone in the theater complained. As a parent, that moment can feel isolating and disheartening, especially in a theater full of children watching a kid's movie. But what happened next completely changed the experience. Two managers, Brittany and Layla, approached us with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. Instead of making us feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, they supported us. They offered to move us to another area of the theater to make things easier, and they went above and beyond by giving my son additional snacks and water so he could stay regulated and continue enjoying the movie. Their approach was not just professional, it was deeply human. We are longtime Regal members, and this experience reminded me why. Inclusion is not just a word, it's action. Brittany and Layla demonstrated what it looks like to create a space where all families, including those with neurodiverse children, feel seen, respected, and welcomed. Because of them, what could have been a painful experience turned into a meaningful one that I will not forget. Thank you, Regal, for having staff who lead with empathy. Came here to see the Michael movie. This location gets very busy and parking can be a pain in the butt. The staff is very friendly. The theatre is spacious and the seats are comfortable. read more

The theater is a bit dated, but it's not too bad. I rented out a theater to watch the movie Michael. I love that they have benches outside the theater. That was very helpful. The general manager was super nice. She even took pictures of us since we were dressed like Michael Jackson. They were very helpful with everyone using their snack pack vouchers. One of the seats in the theater was broken, so no one sat there. The theater itself was super hot. I asked the manager to turn on the air. She did warn me that it would take some time, but the movie was over half way done before we could feel some type of air. I still appreciate them for everything, and if I'm ever back in the area, I may go back to that theater. read more

Haven't gone to the theater in quite some time but I jad to go see "Good Boy". It was fun going to a theater again. Concession had a deal for a large popcorn, large fountain drink and a bag of candy. The theater has stadium seating with reclining chairs however they have seen their glory days and are rather worn down at this point. It's an okay movie theater. It really depends which cinema you are in. One theater we were in was large and chairs were in good condition, reclined fine, no issues. The next month we returned and were in theater 12. Several chairs were out of order and one that was one of our ticketed seats didn't recline. That was disappointing for a 15+ dollar ticket. Some chairs had some obvious signs of additional wear too. Concessions always seem to be a bit slow and disorganized. There are 3 or 4 cash registers but it's not always clear which are open or working. When we walked in there wasn't an obvious line for concessions but a group of customers just kind of congregating by one concessions register. We got in the back of the loosely together line, just to see another family walk in and go to the other register and get served right away. Bathrooms are hit and miss as well. The last time we went no one checked our ticket at the door, or anywhere, which was odd as well. read more

Here for Met at the Movies, SALOME. Tech difficulty prevented showing, but theater apologized as soon as they realized their error and offered reasonable and generous compensation. They must audition the staff and managers in handling the unexpected with courtesy, grace and courage. There weren't many of us to process, and were an older group, meaning we could have short fuses. But we could only smile, because they were so attentive with good eye contact, clearly fully engaged with us and seeking our satisfaction. Danielle Douglas might have been the manager. It looks like the movie theatre industry is going downhill. I remember after this theatre was open that the windows were open to were people would buy the tickets. They have done the upgrade here to where they have the reclining "leather" seats. The leather on the seats were extra worn when I went in last, and that detracts from the comfort. They didn't have salt for the popcorn the last time I went. Overall the comfort of the theatre is not what it used to be. I attended a Lionsgate free screening of the movie Joy Ride this evening. Entry was well organized and the Regal staff/Lionsgate promo team were friendly and kind. A line formed at 6:00 p.m. and they began letting us in the theater a little after 6:30. This theater like many Regal and AMC theaters in the triangle is very dated. 1990's dated. While they have pleather recliners, they are in need of replacement. I'm a little surprised at this given the Brier Creek area. The sound was very poor during the movie. Too low. Everything is typically well manicured in this shopping plaza, so it's a bit disappointing. I did not use the restroom or purchase anything from the concession stand, so I cannot speak to that experience. I am very picky about restrooms and where I dine. The movie theater experience has come a long way over the decades. Regal theaters need a major facelift to catch up to what other companies like Paragon & CMX are offering. We are now in a time where heated seats, zero gravity chairs and Dine-in service are options at the other theaters. So why settle ? Joy Ride is a must see comedy! The Asian representation and culture throughout the film was brilliant and so entertaining. read more

Had a good experience here! Came to watch the new Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes movie and thought the workers were really friendly, getting tickets online was easy, and the theater was clean and a good experience. My only reason to not give 5 stars was because the theater lights were on during all of the movie trailers! I was thinking that the lights should have been dimmed a bit more inside, and also there was no popcorn salt! But great time and great movie read more

Doesn't look like much from the parking lot. Regal Brier Creek is an older theater that could use upgrades. The staff here are nice and welcoming. I went in the early afternoon. The movie quality and seating were pretty good. The previews before the movie seemed a bit excessive. The screen could have used cleaning. There was a spot on the screen that was a distraction for me at times. The inside was clean upon entering, but by the time the movie was over, popcorn was everywhere in the lobby area. It would be nice to have cleaning staff keeping the place tidy. It was only 3 pm when I left, and that's pretty early. read more

I attended an advance screening of She Said here at this theatre. There was plenty of free parking and check in was easy as the Regal employee directed me to the person to scan my tickets. We arrived about 50 mins before to secure good seats and to get concessions. Concession lines were long perhaps due to new staff or short staff. I was disappointed that food choices were limited--nonhot dogs and even though the menu showed a pretzel available, staff advised they no longer sold those. The popcorn was hot but one of the butter dispensers were out of order. In any case service at concessions were provided with a smile and there were alot of candy options. The reclining seats were comfortable, Theatre one was clean and the sound and film quality was great. Women's Bathroom was just ok for cleanliness and it was missing toilet paper in one of the stalls. All in all, would I go here again --sure for a free screening but it wouldn't be my first choose to go here to pay to see a movie. read more

Bathrooms are disgusting, hand dryer is broken. Its obvious the owners are not putting any money into this theater anymore. I'm waiting for movies to stream. There's ton of parking here and the bathrooms are pretty clean. Honestly if you just want to ensure you'll be cozy while watching a 2.5-hour movie (I'm looking at you, Eternals) this is your spot. Nice theatre - we went to see Bad Times at the El Royale (that's another story...). Theatre was clean, employees were friendly. The theatre seats were upgraded leather recliners, so nice! The lady next to me fell asleep, so they are quite comfortable! Easy to purchase tickets online and choose seats via the mobile site. We walked in to ticket taker, he scanned my phone and we were all set. Overall, nice theatre option if you are around Brier Creek - but, it can get quite crowded. I will start by saying that I have been a HUGE theater goer my whole life- I used to go sometimes once or twice a week to see EVERYTHING, it was one of my fave things to do. I haven't been for a while because I was pregnant and had a newborn at home and so I was VERY excited to go with my best friend yesterday to see Barbie. The movie was great, the theater was a HUGE disappointment, I'm being generous to give it 2 stars. First, they switched to Pepsi, eww, I would never.Coke girl all the way. The popcorn was far too salty and stale. And the snack collection was pitiful. Had I known I would have brought my own- I try to support the theater by buying my snacks from them, but that was a GRAVE error in judgment. Not a single chocolate offering, and they want $6 for a small pouch of gummy bears or an expired Rice Krispie treat. Absolute madness. The seats were in horrid condition, mine wouldn't even recline and the footrest was broken, there are patches of broken and worn "leather", they were overall in really sad shape.. They're not even trying. Which is sad because now I will not want to go back here. read more

We came to this cinema for a pre screen of ADRIFT. I can say - RECLINING SEATS !!! Very nice !! Theater management no so good. We never saw the movie !! Some sort of "password problem". They couldn't get the film to play because they didn't have the proper password ?? The manager gave us all free passes for another movie of our choice. That was good. Went to see Mission Impossible, which was awesome, on 14 July. First time at this theater. First thing we noticed was there was nobody checking tickets. After looking around for someone we just walked into the theater and took our seats. The seats were dirty and the surface was flaking off of them. We had black flakes on our legs, arms, hair, and clothes. The restrooms were gross and the theater was dirty. I was really surprised at how filthy everything was. We enjoyed the movie, but we will never go back to this theater again. There are way too many options in the area to have this experience. read more

I'm guessing this theater is about to go out of business? It looked like a run-down deserted theater of the past. They had very limited selections at the concessions. All of the staff members acted like they hated their job. There was a cool looking interactive candy machine in the lobby that does not work at all. Both of our assigned seats were broken. Mine would not recline at all and my boyfriend could not put the foot rest of his chair down all the way. There is no way an older person could not safely gotten out of the chair he was sitting in. Also, the movie started with NO SOUND!! People went to complain about that and they finally turned the sound on but they did not restart the movie so we sadly missed the beginning of a special pre screening of the movie. read more

First time back to a theater in 3 years. I understand employee shortages but this was the most filthy public theater I've been in- anywhere. Went to early am show and the floors were already covered in popcorn and napkins and other debris. Womens room was filthy- half toilets covered in plastic bags- half of the rest no paper or clogged. I spoke w manager who literally said he was surprised to hear - if he walked the theater he couldn't miss the conditions. Also as manager you'd get out vacuum yourself if you had to given how bad it was. Seems to be a standards issue and supervision issue as there were a number of employees on the floor. Prior to the pandemic said I would not be back due to lack of cleanliness. Should have listened to my own advice. Recliner did not work at all, people behind me had same issue and then drama when they tried switching to other seats and the people in those seats showed up. We chose Regal Cinema Brier Creek because of the times they had available to see Incredibles 2. The movie theater is inside of a shopping center so the parking is great. The parking lot was very clean and there were plenty of spaces of available because we were seeing a matinee. I purchased my tickets using the app so I didn't have to wait in line, I just walked up to the movie clerk and she said scanned my phone and we went in. When arrived there weren't very many people there so I went to sit my kids down in the theater. I was so happy to see that they had the recliner seats. Which was an awesome feature; the chairs are so comfortable and they are the perfect size for Littles. I went back out to get us some popcorn. The lady whom helped me at the concession stand was very nice she helped me navigate my app and I was able to get a free popcorn + upgrade it for a dollar. The movie screens are a nice size and the theater is very clean as well as the bathroom. Overall happy I got a chance to go to this location. I would definitely go back. read more
