This is my favorite theater (for convenience) as it is closest to me. Today, I came for a 4:15PM screening and surprisingly the lobby (which can use an upgrade), the men's room and theater 10 were very clean. They either hired more cleaning staff or it was still too early, as normally I see napkins and popcorn on the floor and the concession counters would be messy. I lined up at the concession to get soda and hotdog, only to be told when I finally got there that that line was for purchasing tickets only. There should have been a signage of some kind. Their food and drinks here are expensive. The price for of a medium drink and a regular hot dog was $12.41, about the price of a movie ticket. However, this theater has leather recliner seats that are wide and comfy, so don't come here to watch a movie if you're tired and sleepy as you will easily doze off.

I don't go to movie theaters often, but 'tis the season... for missing my mom's birthday. She had a simple request: To go see a movie with me. Okay. I can do that. I guess. Me: Mom, what movie to you want to see? Mom: Catching Fire. Me: Okayyy... what's it about? Mom: It's one of those Hungry Games movies. Me: No. Mom: But it's-- Me: I'm sorry, but no. I love you and all, but I can't sit through that. I have a goal, and that goal is to be able to stare blankly and blink both slowly and confusedly when ever anyone brings up or references Hunger Games. Soooo we compromised and saw 'Frozen'. Something she still wanted to see, and something I felt I could tolerate based on Richard Roeper's rave review for the flick on Good Morning America... mind you, that was before I put two and two together that Disney and ABC are in bed together so of course he's going to have nothing but praise when it involves the parent company that signs his paycheck, but the movie was tolerable and at times, dare I say fun. We came to this theater because it had the best show times up against the rest of our day and proximity to our current location. Funny thing is, I used to live around here and I never once went to this theater... though I think it's closed and been reincarnated through several different theater companies over past 10 years. Currently, it's Regal Cinema. The place isn't huge, but that's kind of nice sometimes. I was expecting it to be busier, given that it was Black Friday, but it was surprisingly tame... until about 5 minutes before our movie started because that's when a rush of like 20 families with yelling parents and screaming kids who don't listen came in. Our theater was tiny. Like, there were more floor seats than stadium (not good unless you like straining your neck), and the tight size of the theater really took away from the whole 'big screen' feeling. Not that you need it for a movie like 'Frozen', but had I seen something like 'Gravity' on that screen, I'd have been pissed. There was virtually no line to wait in to purchase tickets and the staff were all really sweet. As I sat in our theater and looked around, mind you we arrived 25 minutes early on accident, I saw spilled popcorn tubs all over the floor and it pretty obviously hadn't been cleaned from the showing before ours. Tickets for an evening flick were "only $10," which apparently is a decent going rate for movies these days and while I didn't partake in any concessions (which I'm sure are wholly over-priced), that popcorn smelled so.freaking.good. I think if I'm back, it'll be for a daytime show so I can try to score that mini theater all to myself.

Wasn't sure I read it right until I took the receipt home, but when did a bottle water cost $4.75?

No more sticky floors, love the giant reclining leather chairs, a little side table that pulls out so you can put your popcorn on top of, and a cup holder that actually fits the gargantuan cups they put pop in.

This is our favorite theatre. We drive all the way from Minooka to Bolingbrook just to come to this theatre! The recliner chairs are super comfortable and in good shape. I like that you get to pick your seats so you don't have to get there super early or wait in lines. The concessions always have a lot of people working and never have long lines. Bathrooms are mostly always decently clean. I like the regal crown club and we accumulate points and get deals and free concessions. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Very impressed by how clean the space was. Has a nostalgic old movie theatre vibe but with modern, comfortable seating.

I usually ADORE this location, but this situation caused a lot of trouble. (see bottom of review for summary/how I wish it was handled. Today (Thursday, Dec 4th), I was trying to purchase tickets to see the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 movie for tomorrow (Dec 5) at 7:20pm for me, my boyfriend and our two other friends to go watch. Unfortunately, right as I had purchased my tickets, the website seemed to have glitched. My screen showed "An error has occurred. Please try again." to which I was originally fine with trying to purchase again, but that was until I saw a notification from my apple wallet app that it had charged my card. I searched my email, kendall account, and even my junk mail. No tickets were popping up, so I called Kendall. Originally the girl I spoke to on the phone was nice and understanding, and could probably smell my anxiety through the phone, as I hate confrontation. She explains that there are no seats reserved under my name for that showing whatsoever, and that she'll contact her manager to see if there's anything that they can do besides me just getting a refund within 3-5 business days. (aka, without having to repurchase anything due to how im a broke high school student who can't afford to buy a second set of tickets). I was put on hold, which was no problem as I don't mind the music that was being played. The manager picks up and I re-explain the entire situation. The manager proceeds to tell me that "That usually happens when theres too many people on the website, you'll have to wait for a refund." Her tone was flat, harsh, and frustrated, and I don't necessarily blame her! Work is stressful and I understand if it's been a long day. What I don't understand is why the fact that the website is glitchy isn't stated anywhere during your checkout process, or on the website at all really. I get it's a technical error, less human error, however I just think they can be smarter with ensuring their customers have a seamless experience on the website without having to call and ask what happened. Because lets be honest, nobody likes phone calls. I'm not necessarily upset at anyone, more so frustrated with the whole situation. My only wish is that: a) I got a refund immediately so I could re-purchase or get the tickets I originally bought given to me b) Gotten the names of the two workers I spoke to on the phone. One being a what I'm assuming front desk worker, and the other being the manager who was working 12/4/2025 @ 10pm. This was a lengthy review, however I just wanted to ensure people who purchase on the website are aware of the glitchy/crashing thats very common apparently.

However, the other day I was feeling much better and mustered up the energy to finally see Wicked For Good. I always drive past this theatre when I'm running errands, and it's actually the closest theatre to my house. So, I figured it was time to test this place out. I came without purchasing a ticket in advance. First thing I like about this theatre is you can purchase your ticket on the kiosk. You select your movie, then you select what type of seat you want- a standard recliner or a cuddlier seat. It was just me so I selected the recliner which was $7.95. I do like the idea of the cuddlier sofa though, that's super cute for couples. However, when I tried to pick where I wanted to sit only one seat was available to book. Which was very surprising to me because the theater wasn't that full and the movie has been out for months now. Thinking it was a glitch of the kiosk, I went to the counter to purchase tickets. Then I saw the screen where I could pick my seat and again there was only one seat I could pick. So I picked that seat thinking the theater wasn't going to be jammed packed (spoiler it wasn't). So, that's the only thing I was confused about. Why were seats block off when the theater wasn't full. Other than this mishap I really enjoyed my experience here. Luckily my seat ended up being a decent seat and it was exceptionally comfortable. There was a red button you could push which I assumed was a seat warmer, I pushed it but I didn't notice any changes in the temperature of my seat. For food I got a medium sprite and a large popcorn. It costs me about $18. Which is typical. I will say next time I'll order a medium popcorn, the large was so big I wasn't able to finish it before the movie was over! All in all this is a very solid theater. Very friendly employees, seats are comfortable and clean, oh and I forgot to mention they have a bar. So that's pretty cool. I can definitely see myself returning here again!

When I purchased the tickets on fandango I was confused because it had seating options for recliners, cuddles and 'adult' seating. This was kind of confusing I had children with me. Service was great! I don't live in Batavia but I would drive out of my way to come back.
