It was okay. $9/person wasn't too bad but I am expecting a huge screen for that price. We love going to the movies and we are used to only paying $6.50/person at the Century theater back in California with a huge screen. This is the closest to us but we'll probably try a different one next time. read more

Line for concessions is absurd for 4:00 on a holiday week. Waited 20 min for popcorn with plenty of staff standing around. Hope the movie is good.... read more

We've been coming here for years. Pretty decent theater, they have a bar and upgraded seats. Unfortunately lately when we come we've had to wait to purchase snacks for about 12-17 min. Not fun, like we're trying NOT to be trifling and bring in snacks.... read more

Used to be a 3 star theater, but they updated their seats. The seats aren't real big, but they are comfortable. Movie selection is usually pretty good and rooms and bathrooms kept nicely clean. read more

great theatre, amazing prices. bartender was AMAZING! they have a bar inside the theatre. audience was great. 10/10 experience!!!

They offer the scanner for the passbook for iphone now... except it never works and takes way too much time. The theater itself is really gross. If you're running late and just catch the movie you won't notice since it's dark but there are stains all over the seats and the floor is usually sticky. I have never seen anyone cleaning up at any point. read more

The worst concession service. Save you time, money and sanity (priceless) and go elsewhere.

The lines for concessions are super long and there is not enough staff. Showed up 30 minutes before the start of the film and had to get out of line so I didn't miss the film. read more

I don't even want to give it a one star. apparently clear English isn't enough. I order a combo and my words were. Large popcorn with two large drinks. For 15 years I've always gotten large popcorn and large drink for the refills. I go for a refill and his words are you asked for a medium. Excuse me! Who wouldn't pay like a dollar more for a large with a family of four sharing the drinks. But either way. No I said large and my husband standing right beside me said yes you did. Too bad I'll have to pay for a new drink! Good grief $7 for a drink is crazy enough. This is why people sneak things in. So be sure you get what you ask for and repeat yourself a few times to be sure. Mediums are really big drinks so of course to me they look large. But we aren't from here so we aren't sure what size a large would look like. Mistakes happen. But be kind and offer to fix it. Not tell me to buy an entire new drink. What does the cup cost 10 cents? Can't even enjoy a movie anymore without people being just plain ridiculous. read more

Haven't been to this theater in a long time and probably won't ever go again. The patrons were talking loudly throughout the entire movie, laughing ridiculously loud, and playing on their phones. I know the theater isn't to blame for their patrons' bad behavior but there are a couple of other theaters in the area that don't seem to have these issues. read more

Evans 14 is better with slightly better prices... just go there instead. The only difference is Evans doesn't have a half-max theatre...

A good movie theater. Been going here since I arrived or moved to Georgia.

Place hasn't realized they they are under staffed. You literally have to get there two hours before your movie to get concessions and make it to your seat on time. read more

I have been to this theatre before with no issues. I visit this area once a year to see my family for the holidays. This year we had plans to see a movie and looked at Regal's website to decide what time we would be seeing the movie. At about 6 pm this theatre changed the time for their evening movies. After speaking with the manager he explained that It was a business decision and although it ruined our plans he could do nothing for us. Understandable, what I would say is do not attend this theatre unless you call first to clarify your movie time as their manager made it clear that the potential to sell a few more tickets is more important than customer service. Couldn't have been more disappointed in this movie theatre. read more

I have been standing in line to get a drink and a snack now for 20 minutes... I am currently missing the movie I have paid to see because the people working concessions do not feel the need to hurry... next time I come here(if at all) I will bring my own snacks. F- Regal. read more

Good matinee price. Terrible food counter staffing. 20 people in line + 1 clerk = hella frustration. Not ok for such a nice establishment.

I've been to this cinema around 5 times or so. I've always thought it was overpriced and so is the food, but let's be real...most cinemas are these days. I've always had a generally pleasant experience and I really like the sloped seating. However, last night my husband and I had an experience that I've never had at any movie theater ANYWHERE. Saturday night, we decided to go see The Visit at 8:30. That showtime was sold out so we just bought tickets for the 10:10 show and went through stores to pass the time in between. No biggie. We are sitting in our seats along with about 15 other patrons 20 minutes before the show is supposed to start and they ask us all to leave so they can clean. I was annoyed because this easily could've been done earlier and they shouldn't have let patrons in at all if that was the case. When we came back, there was still garbage all over, but whatever. Again, no biggie. The real icing on the cake? When everyone started filling in and they were loud and obnoxious through the previews which is the same at every cinema...even I talk during previews. However, this didn't stop during the movie. It became more intense. You could HARDLY HEAR THE MOVIE! People were so obnoxious and rude and kept making sexual sounds from one end of the theater through the other. Then, when something would happen in the movie, the whole theater made obnoxious sounds and drew that out for 2-3 minutes each time, then when that would die down, they were STILL loud. I couldn't believe it. This is the kind of behavior I'd expect at a free movie in an inner city that I didn't have to pay for...not at a movie theater where tickets are $11 each. This was an effing circus. My husband and I got up and left and when we did, one of the loud patrons even asked if he could have our popcorn. We stopped at customer service to get our money back and I asked why not one single staff member had gone into the theater to ask the crowd to quiet down. Obviously they could hear how loud it was in there...it was like at a football game. The lady told me that's how the kids get on Saturdays and that they've even sent in police officers to ask people to quiet down and they don't listen. I then asked why then they let so many kids in without their parents as most of them were teens (I'm 23 and would've gotten my butt beaten if I'd behaved like that where I'm from). She said they implemented a no under 18 years old rule after 9 pm on Saturdays, but I didn't see anyone getting their ID checked. I'll never go back on a Saturday. Management: ASK PEOPLE TO LEAVE WITHOUT REFUNDS IF THEY'RE GOING TO ACT LIKE KIDS AND DISTURB PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE TO WATCH THE MOVIE!!!!! The rest of us shouldn't be the ones to leave! read more

Never ever have enough staff. Action movies have volum so ridiculously loud you need earplugs. It's so poorly run, over the holidays on the busiest times. They had one ticket window open and 2 concession staff. The lines were crazy long. We got there 30 minutes b4 movie and got tickets 5 minutes b4 start. read more

I love going to the movies and I want to love this theatre because they have so much potential. But it was very warm in the theatre and everyone in the movie agreed. I asked twice to lower the temperature and nothing changed. I was literally sweating from the temperature especially with skin contact on their leather seats. Idk if I could enjoy another movie there unless they change this read more

More slushie machines, but in general getting better as a movie theatre

Good theatre but expensive, not just tix @$15each but drinks, popcorn etc are priced high. IMAX is only slightly bigger than regular screens. Offers 3D movies. Only shows action and big budget flicks. Never shows artsy, Oscar-type movies. read more

The good news is that this is the nicest theater in Augusta, but the bad news is that it's relative. The inside of the theater is filthy. There are candy wrappers and popcorn everywhere, with little evidence of the staff trying to clean; upon arriving early for a movie, I sat outside & watched two staff members carrying brooms/dustpans walk past trash on the floor at least a dozen times, with zero effort to clean up any of it. When I asked for directions to my theater number, the staff was rude. I was terribly disappointed with this theater, but, unfortunately, it's about the best there is around here. So, unless you want to drive to atlanta or columbia, this is about your best choice in augusta. :( read more

We went early today the theater wasn't crowded . Just a few people and a few employees. However they were very inattentive and were not focused on the few customers they had. Not really a good experience...should been much better especially since there were so few customers. The cell phone notice stayed on the screen until I asked for it to be removed. The screen was partially covered with the sides of the curtains the entire movie. Management needs to add a little oversight for this crew. read more

Nothing like going to the movies and the box-office opens 20 minutes late. Oh-wait, there is something worse, have the manager tell you that the box office opens 15 minutes later then the time posted at the bottom of the marquee...myself and 27 others waiting in line were all amazed- and no apologies from management. Bad form Regal Cinemas! read more

My experience today, 11 September 2015, at the Regal Augusta Exchange Stadium 20 in Augusta, Georgia was extremely horrible! I work nearby and a group of my co-workers decided to purchase our tickets online through our employee discount program. Since the discounted tickets don't specify a movie or time; I decided to go during my lunch break to pick up designated tickets for "The Perfect Guy" show time 1915 hours. When I searched the cinema to see what time they will open, the website says 11 am. When I arrived at the cinema at 1057 hours, it was already about 20 patrons standing in the box office line. However, at about 1103, we realized that no one was available. Myself and others went into the building and spoke with the on-duty box office manager and she was very rude. The conversation went as follows: Me: Good morning. What time will the box office be opening today? Manager: As the marquee outside states, we will open 30 minutes prior to the first show time, which will be at 1130. Me: Okay, your website is giving out the time of 11 am. Manager: Show me! (I show her the time on my phone) She gives it back & proceeds by saying, "Well, that's wrong and it's always been wrong!" Me: Well, how do we go about getting that corrected because all of the patrons that are waiting outside are under the same impression that the box office opens at 11. Manager: Well, I don't know what to tell you. Besides, our registers don't unlock until 1130. Me: What about the patrons that came on their assigned lunch breaks to purchase these tickets? Can you at least come outside and provide us with that explanation because everyone is getting frustrated? Manager: Like, I said, we will open at 1130. Me: Have a great afternoon; I will be emailing your corporate office. Manager: Shrugs shoulders & says, "Do what you got to do"! That was horrible customer service! If our tickets hadn't been pre-purchased for Regal Cinemas, I would've left and never returned. The least she could have done was come outside and apologize for the misunderstanding of the opening time; however, she didn't care at all! Even one of the employees offered to extend an apology to the crowd outside, but the manager stopped him from doing it. It's completely unfair to be treated as such by a business that pretty much monopolizes the area. The website should be adjusted to say that "the box office opens 30 minutes prior to the first showing" or "box office times vary based on show times". I don't know the manager's name because she wasn't wearing a nametape like everyone else. More than 30 patrons were affected by this misunderstanding. read more
