Absolutely EXCELLENT experience every single time!…read more I found this place by searching for a holistic dentist in the area and based off the website information and reviews chose to see Dr Firouzian. The office is absolutely gorgeous. They really take the time and effort to make the experience as pleasant as possible. My first visit was because I needed a crown replacement, so just jumped right in to the full dental experience on this one! The patient beds/chairs are comfortable and I was given some headphones with relaxing music while they worked. The whole process didn't take too long and it was as painless as it could be! I've been back several times, both for cleanings and additional work. They got me in quickly for an urgent pain situation a while back and remedied the situation right then and there, thanks GOSH*! All the staff and docs are very friendly, professional and welcoming. Mike is awesome and quick with the cleanings! Dr Simon is a great addition and very good with checking in during work to make sure the patient is comfortable and doing ok. Will be going strictly to this dentist from now on!!! Would highly recommend!!!

I came on my first visit I was completely impressed by the atmosphere, they even have charges for your cell phone if you need it. I sat down in the lady kept asking me if I have insurance, I informed her that I did but she keep asking as if she didn't believe me. Then Kelly took very through x-rays and she knows how to put you at ease as if you are at Disney world. The people here are great, but some rough patches with communication. It was discovered that I needed a lot of work done, including a root canal, which I feared would be the case. So I set an appointment to get this done, but I set an earlier appointment to get the crown done, so that I wouldn't lose the filling I had from A previous time. So when I can to the appointment, the lady said okay, I understand we are doing a root canal, and clean the left side of your mouth. and was confused because I was there for something completely different, I think one of the things that should be done is have something written out which plan of action is being taken at each appointment, so their is no confusion, especially in cases when their is a lot of work to be done. They made it work with my insurance, that is the thing that I am most grateful about this place, Dr Papp is legendary, I have a maybe a handful of dentist in my life, and from my experience, he is truly, a cut above the rest. when I went to my 4th appointment, the root canal that final got done, was a supper-smooth process, he dialogs great with customers, and he is world class. If you get a choice I would go With "big papa!" That's what I call him in my head. This location doesn't discuss preventive care much with patients, so it is important to make sure you ask them, to keep the work they do intact. If you make an appointment, they will not leave you in the dark, the with email you and text you often to remind you, so they have great follow-up, But If you can't make an appointment let them know because they have a big customer base They bake cookies fresh every day so they definitely make an effort, to make a great atmosphere, But just a few things to work out.

This team goes out of their way to roll out the red carpet for their clients, even folks just coming in for a cleaning. I have had lots of trips to the dentist since I was knocking my teeth out as a young kid, and I have moved a lot. As such, I have been to many dentists in many states. I have a dental implant, which also requires additional expertise by whomever is treating me. Although I am not a nervous patient, I go out of my way to research a dentist before I try them. I had been seeing one dentist since I had moved to Columbus in 2014, but was inspired to change after that dentist kept trying to sell me optional cosmetic stuff I didn't want AND began the practice of charging hundreds of dollars to insure their normal work (fillings, etc.). After many hours of Googling, Yelping, and cross referencing some other dental websites, I made the decision to try Dr. Lordo's office. Trish, the care coordinator, took the time to discuss my dental insurance coverage in depth. While I am rather well-versed in dental coverage because of having so many procedures done, I was happy she made a point to emphasize this before I even sat in the chair. I have had times at other dental offices where I have had to stop people from doing things and ask, "Hey, is this even covered by my insurance?" Trish indicated the practice takes pride in being absolutely transparent and I could tell from this initial interaction they meant what they said. Also before the appointment started I was given a formal introduction to Dr. Lordo and Dani, who would be my hygienist. They all listened as a team as I talked about why I was coming to them. They made a point of taking genuine interest in what I did for a living (which is not exciting), which was very sweet of them. Next, Dani did my cleaning. Again, I have sat through dozens and dozens of cleanings, as I have made a point of going to the dentist every six months for a cleaning for many, many years. I drink coffee, tea, and wine-- everything that stains your teeth--so there is always some scraping to be done. I didn't realize quite how rushed the cleanings I have received in the last couple years had been until I had the pleasure of Dani conducting my cleaning. She took the time to really do a super thorough and excellent job. Even now, a day and a half later, I can notice the difference. Finally, Dr. Lordo did an initial exam. I had been feeling like I might have been starting to clench or grind my teeth in my sleep within the last year. My last dentist didn't say anything. Dr. Lordo and Dani both noticed signs in my mouth that this might be happening. Even better, Dr. Lordo explained why it was likely happening. And even better than that, this explanation didn't result in Dr. Lordo and his team trying to sell me an additional service or procedure. We discussed monitoring it and we discussed what additional signs should move me to seek treatment. Dr. Lordo also pointed out a few things in my exam that, while likely benign, he suggested I touch base with my primary care doctor about. This signals he understands dental health is connected to a person's overall physical/mental well being. Dr. Lordo's team also followed up with my previous dentist to find out what kinds of x-rays they could obtain from them. They could have insisted on taking these x-rays themselves without going through the trouble so they could charge my insurance. I appreciate them saving me the room in my deductible and saving me needless exposure to x-rays. My cleaning concluded, I made my appointment to come back in six months and went on my way. I was already very pleased with my whole experience. Then, about 5 minutes after I had left the office, I got a voicemail: it was Trish, the care coordinator. I had mentioned off hand when we were chatting initially I was thinking about getting some supplementary dental insurance through a carrier that offered such a program. Trish mentioned some of their current patients used policies at that carrier, and offered to try and find me examples of the policies she had seen from them. I said that would be great, but didn't expect her to take the time to find it on the spot. Trish's voicemail said she had found the paperwork and she was going to send it to me. This afternoon, one day after my appointment when my mail arrived, the paperwork was there! Dr. Lordo and his team have impressed me with their level of service, their expertise, and their genuine care. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have never…read moreunderstood what I did that made him decide to dispose of 15+ years of molds, forms and models of my teeth. The Good: He created an extremely natural-looking bridge for me after my 1993 bike accident. That bridge failed 10 years later. Again, great bridge 2nd time. When that bridge failed six years later, I was unable in 2011 or so, to find a professional to install 4 implants to support a replacement 6-tooth bridge. The technology was fairly new. He eventually agreed to do the surgery himself. The unfortunate result was an atypical situation. The patient signs paperwork acknowledging the possibility of a bad result. I got a bad result. My mouth had shrunk significantly due to bone loss. I'm told this happened in part because with every tooth he removed (there were six), he did not ever replace the lost bone. Each vacant socket collapsed into itself. My mouth, with my shrunken upper jaw, could nit accommodate the big teeth I'd had previously - I kept biting my lip, so he had to shave down the size. The icing in the cake, as they say, was the fact that one screw had pierced the bone instead of being screwed into the bone. After noticing the Grey stripe beneath my gum tissue, a later dentist confirmed that the screw was placed disasterously wrong. I was my aged parents' primary caregiver and did not have time to pursue solutions. But I was surprised at Dr Cunningham's cool attitude toward me when I tried to question him about the teeth, the gums, and - worse yet - my molds! I no longer had any evidence of what my original teeth had looked like except one model from an earlier dentist and my own personal photos. He had thrown away my forms, with no apology and no explanation. Fast forward to 2021 when I discovered I had 4 (all of them) infected dental implants that needed to be removed. Future dentists were handicapped by having to create their own models of how my mouth looked before it shrank. The process is not yet finished. I believe my surgeries are done, but I needed to switch prosthodontists (because this is a complicated situation - not just replacing one tooth with 1 implant). I will attach photos. For ten years, from age 59 till age 68, I looked like a different person. I aged dramatically due to the shrunken mouth. At 70+, wearing temporary prosthetic devices, I think I look younger than I did at 60. Perhaps this experience gave me character. It certain gave me anguish and heartache and most of my old age ne$t egg.
