I started training with Ali (the owner) in mid December 2024. It is now September 2025 and I have lost 40 lbs and have great muscle definition. As a 47 yr old man, I've had many trainers over the past 20 years, but Ali has been my favorite since he is very mild mannered...he is not over the top...he is down-to-earth and focused on results. He comes up with strategies if he notices anything that needs to be fixed, i.e. if muscle gain is slowing down he points out what could be improved nutrition-wise (more protein, adding creatine). Or if muscle growth seems asymmetrical he notices and makes adjustments accordingly. Again, I can't emphasize enough how "normal" he is, as opposed to many of the OC trainers who are covered in tattoos, clubbing at night, and telling you about their personal problems. Ali is very wholesome and successful, so there is no drama with him. If you are suffering from debilitating back pain, please take the time to read my story. I was in the same boat that you are, thinking there was no way that lifting weights would get me out of my predicament, but it did. And it has done so much more! Two years ago, I was fortunate enough to find BodyForge through a client and the decision to work out there literally saved my career. I had been working so hard at making money to support me and my son (single mommy), entirely neglecting my body. Not only was I overweight, but I was doing nothing to develop my core, which was working overtime each day to hold me in the awkward position necessary all day every day while I was doing specialty, cosmetic tattooing in my studio. Everything was laid out for Breakfast, lunch and dinner with sample meal ideas based on the allowed daily allowance of proteins, fats, carbs and veggies. The diet allows a little bit of freedom while combining the goods that he is already eating. He also recommended specific supplements and proteins to enhance his workouts to be taken at specific times. Could not of made it any easier for him. I love this place! First, let me start by saying that this is an awesome place to workout, not your typical gym and definitely not a CrossFit location. Bodyforge has high-quality trainers that support you throughout all workouts. Anthony, Olivia, Chris, and Vinni are super knowledgable. They are always checking you have the right form and help you achieve your goals. BodyForge is more of a semi-private training facility, where you typically have your own station so that you can work at your own pace (not circuit training). They have new workouts every day to ensure your body is constantly being challenged. What separate this gym from others (besides being semiprivate) is the community. A big family that pushes each other in a very healthy and friendly way. The support is amazing! They have a 6-week challenge, but I decided not to do it. I saw adds for this place on Facebook and I figured it was worth checking out. I am a 32 year old new mom who still had that extra baby weight that seemed like it would never go away. I tried pretty much any diet you can think of over the past 10 months or so and I was just not seeing the results that I wanted. I went to the gym four times a week but didn't really know what to do there or always have the best motivation. With my wedding approaching in June, not to mention swim suit season lol, I was in pretty much a panic mode. I met with the owner, Vinny, and right away I just really felt like I was in good hands. I don't know how else to explain it other than to say that he and his trainers definitely know what they are doing and I could tell that right off the bat. I signed up for the 6 week body fat challenge and I have to be honest, I didn't know that I would make it at first. The workouts are intense (well at least to someone who typically walks the mall every day for cardio), but the trainers there are no joke. Anthony and Josh are so good at what they do and so passionate about helping you achieve your results; if you do what they say, you will absolutely achieve your results. Of the five days a week available to me to work out, I went to 3-4 workouts per week and now looking back, I wish I had gone more. As hard as the workouts were, I always left feeling like, "Wow, I can't believe I just did that!!". You have a few of those amazing moments a week, and you start really believing in yourself! By the last few weeks of my challenge, the gym was something I looked forward to and often times one of the best parts of my day. It took a few weeks but by the beginning of week 5, I was feeling AMAZING, my skin was totally clear (lol, coincidence? I don't know, but it's good news right??), and I even had to go shopping (poor me) for new gym pants because two of the pairs I usually wore were literally falling off of me!! I can't even tell you how amazing it felt to try on a pair of pants that was in a size I hadn't worn since pre pregnancy!! Okay so food-wise, the "diet" I had to follow was not even really a diet. It was just regular food that tasted great and that I learned to actually crave. Yes I had to cook ughhhh but I actually started to enjoy doing so at the end and I came up with some pretty cool recipes to try to keep things interesting. It was more about cutting out certain foods and portion control than anything else, but for someone who LOVES to eat, it was totally do able!! I just want to say, I'm so thankful for viewing their Facebook challenge ad when I did. I needed this change. The trainers are very motivational. Anthony rocks for pushing me a little more then the others, adding more weights when I'm not looking. Adan is great, I feel like he's got my back making sure I don't kill myself with weights. And Vinny is awesome, meal plan, help with figuring out what I can and shouldn't eat, he's the guy. I feel great in my skin after completing their six week challenge. I decided to do the 6 week 20lbs weight loss challenge after I had my first child. I had seen an ad on Facebook and I texted the owner Vinny. He promptly responded, I made an appointment at which I was informed of the program and I signed the contract to begin my challenge. I was confident that I would make my goal weight in the beginning but I quickly became worried that I wouldn't make it for some reason despite my results because I was breastfeeding. I attended classes 5 times a week at 8:30am. I missed one Saturday in 5weeks and a day and made my goal weight. During my time at BF, I learned proper form from the trainers Josh and Anthony. They were always there to explain, model and give feedback on my form or help me out with whatever I needed. They are all friendly and knowledgeable about nutrition and are available to give advice or answer any questions. I truly enjoyed going to the gym during these last couple months and i should mention that i am not a fan of the gym. My friend a I wanted to do a work out together, and she suggested we try or the six week challenge here at body forge. At 5'7", 195lbs., Josh set my goal for 20 pounds. I had to go in at least 3 days a week and follow the meal plan they give (menu of proteins, veggies, carbs, and fats). I followed the meal plan and worked out about 4-5 days a week. I lost 10 pounds by the end of the 2nd week. By the end of the 6th I was down 25 pounds! I totally beat my goal. At week 8 I'm down 30 pounds. I'm losing a little slower because I decided to loosen up my meal plan a bit. I'd agree when people say 80% of weight loss is how you eat. Working out is a supplement to your diet, and I aimed to burn about 200-300 calories per day I worked out. The money is definitely a big motivator. If you eat a lot of junk and fast food like me, and you commit to the meal plan, the first 3 weeks are going to be hell. I was irritable and whined a lot. Hot dogs and chili fries, burritos and tacos called my name all day, but I kept that money in mind. At week 4 was when it started to get easier and I started feeling better about what I was eating. As for the actual work outs, the guys keep you moving, and make sure you're pushing your limits. Make sure you listen to your body. Don't sacrifice proper form for higher weight, so you don't get injured. There's a big difference between a good burn for a couple days and an injury for 3+ weeks, and it is not worth it. I'd highly recommend this to my friends who want to lose. The meal plan is everything, though. You will fail if you think working out will be enough. TL;DR: lost 25 pounds, beat my 20 lb goal. When I started my 6 week challenge with Body Forge Fitness it was the Monday after my summer vacay in Cabo 7/18/16. My weigh in was 164.5lbs, 37" waist and 27.9% body fat(eek ). I started BF weak, tired and exhausted but still pushed for my 3-4 days a week no matter what. As the first couple weeks went by I started feeling a little stronger, better energy, better sleep and most of all so motivated to get up and go again the next day. I can honestly say 2018 was kind to me. I found Body Forge, started on 1/17/18, and with finding this gym, I found an amazing group of people who have been so supportive and loving. A family. I stepped out of my comfort zone, pushed myself and found physical and mental strength I never knew I possessed! So I just completed the 6 Week Challenge and I feel great! I saw the ad on Facebook so I decided to check it out. I talked to Leslie on the phone, then went in and talked with Vinny and Josh. I signed up and started working out the same day. The "accountability deposit/fee" was a little high but I knew I could do it so I didn't mind. There are two main components to the Challenge - workouts (fitness) and meal plans (nutrition), which is no suprise. The thing I like about Body Forge is that they help you with a full blown meal plan, ideas for meal prep, timing of meals (when to eat carbs, fats, etc) so that it complements the time when you workout. It was a really great program. The workouts were awesome! The trainers are great, especially Anthony. I really enjoyed his workout sessions. He's knowledgeable about proper form and how to visually master the movement and is an encouraging trainer. Each week was something new and exciting, never doing the same boring workout routine week after week. They varied from traditional weightlifting type movements, to incorporating bands and body weigh movements, to sleds (God Bless the Sleds! Ha.), and much more. Body Forge helped me get off my ass and get back in the gym. But more, it was the positive motivation I needed to get back to where I wanted to be - both physically and mentally. I lost 5.2% body fat, inches off my waist, increased muscle mass, lost fat, and have a good routine to eat clean. I've been pretty consistently into fitness for most of my life, was always mindful of eating food to a healthy lifestyle. I've also experienced different types of fitness - I've been consistently in a traditional gym since 2007, hiking, running, pole fitness, aerial silks, HIIT, etc. I signed up for the 6 week 5% body fat loss challenge, due to health issues I had to take a 3 months break for recovery. During the challenge is injured my wrist (in my personal life, not related to the work outs) Jeremy was great at modifying the work out specialized to me so I didn't further injure myself. My absolute favorite part of the whole challenge was the work outs, the lifting, the time spent with the entire class was such a great time. It was nice going through a challenge with people on the same mission. The reason why I'm giving a 4 star, not a 5 star is the diet portion. YES, following the diet will allow you to lose the weight or the body fat %, however many of the people who did the challenge were beginners to working out/dieting and I feel as though the concept of the diet is not a long term realistic goal for those doing the challenge. Expecting a group of people to strictly adhere to the diet for as long as 6 weeks cold turkey is a difficult expectation. It is an effective "crash" diet, but the long term goals of a healthy lifestyle were not as big of a focus as I thought it should be. Also, Downfall the cost after the fact I couldn't justify the cost to continue to go. But overall it was a great experience, I'd recommend this to a friend who is looking to loose weight or have a jump-start to a healthy lifestyle. read more

I did the 6 week challenge and lost 25 pounds. I was very satisfied with the results. Jeremy and Josh are great trainers. Very knowledgeable about training and eating healthier as well as being very friendly, energetic, and approachable. They teach you how to eat right in a sustainable way and keep up the encouragement throughout the program. They also do a great job of teaching proper techniques for working out to avoid injuries and to get the most out of your time. If you are looking to get a jump start to a healthier and happier you, I would definitely recommend joining this program. You won't regret it. read more

I completed BodyForge's 6 week challenge and I didn't think I could be one of those people you see on fitness program ads with the before and after pictures. It was a tough 6 weeks, but with the trainers guidance in nutrition and working out, I hit my goals and more! I went 3 times a week to train for an hour, followed their dietary guidelines, and just stayed consistent with their advice. Did I feel like crap? Yes. I wanted to quit every week after week 3, but these trainers just won't let you give up, despite your excuses. Was losing 21.6lb overall, 5.6% body fat, and 6.5 inches (that's more than half a foot) worth it? Heck yes! Anthony and Aleccia trained me hard and I couldn't believe I was working out almost every muscle everyday. They utilize different techniques to confuse your muscles so you can keep working them out. Adan was well trained in therapy. Anytime my back felt sore/uncomfortable or when I had wrist pain, he'd guide me through a lot of really useful stretches. These trainers are LEGIT. Like Vinny and his staff continually reminded me, "getting there is the hardest part." Showing up was 80% of the battle, but when I did, they made sure I put in the work I needed to get those results. Just show up and TRUST THE PROCESS. I'd highly recommend this gym to anyone. Body Forge is an amazing gym... I joined and participated in the 6 week challenge. I have worked-out off and on for most of my life, but have never seen a change in my body like I did from the Body Forge program. It's fitness and nutrition in one place. The fitness instructors (Josh, Anthony, & Vinny) lead the class with energy and excitement and make sure that you are getting the most out of each workout. The culture and feel of the gym from the existing members is like nowhere else... it's just a fantastic, welcoming, and encouraging place that leads you to amazing results. I did the 6 week challenge with my fiance in preparation for my wedding. And Josh and Jeremy helped me get a kick start. These guys come in day in and day out fulltime with energy each time I see them. From 5am to the last class they are non-stop encouraging. Who else does that? And you can just tell they love their job. Jiujitsu and basketball wasn't helping me lose weight as quickly as I wanted (I blame my unhealthy diet) nor did I want to be injured heading into my wedding day, I was prone to jamming fingers and joints. So my fiance found bodyforge and we signed up for the challenge. Each week I noticed I was getting stronger and more confident. I started eating healthy and became more aware of what I put in my body. I lost 6% body fat/12 pounds and I never felt so good. This is an awesome program to get on. Great experience. They give you a workout and a meal plan that can put your body in a state that emphasizes weight loss and muscle gain. I lost 20 pounds in the first six weeks. They give you tools and advice that will motivate you when you do not feel like continuing. The best part is that you are a team and people look out for you to keep you on track to meet your goals.
