You may be wondering "did the band not play well?" and to that my answer is no. They didn't play at all. Their slot was pushed so far back i was sat in my seat for 4 hours waiting for them to get up there and rock nuneaton into space. Unfortunately, they never got to play at the Crew in Nuneaton as the "man" running the live music didn't let eternal storm play. Lucky someone stepped up however i shan't be touching on that subject for personal and legal reasons In conclusion, i never got to see eternal storm strike and instead was forced to drive 40 minutes home after waiting for 4 long hours just for my favourite band. Very VERY disappointed.

It is a family friendly pub which is what makes pubs like these so popular but unfortunately the quality of the food seems to slip in places like these. The menu is ok, the same as all Big Steak pubs but unfortuantely it never seems to be home cooked fresh food - more microwave frozen foods. They have a nice seating area outside with a good kids play area and they have a Wacky Warehouse too. This is a good sized indoor play area and serves refreshments which saves you having to keep going into the main bar. The entrance fee is between £2.50 and £3.00 which is about average. Don't forget to take the kids socks - last time we went was in the summer with 4 children in tow. They all had flip flops on so were not allowed in unless we purchased Wacky Warehouse socks for £2 per pair. I refused to pay and had to leave with 4 sad children. I guess this pub is ok if you just fancy a quick no frills meal out but I think I would be tempted to pay a little extra and go to Frankie & Bennys instead.

This is my local and we've seen this place go through redesigns, new management and so on…read more If you're looking for a quiet drink with a nice atmosphere then this is the place to go. Perhaps out of the way for a few people but it means you get a lot of the locals in there (like myself!) which leads to a very pleasant and jovial ambience to the play. The low wooden beams and moody lighting might be the staple of this chain of pubs but don't let that put you off, this really is in the spirit of traditional old country pubs. The food is pretty good and there's a good selection of lagers bitters and ales on tap for the discerning drinker. The staff and the new management are much improved and very friendly with the punters and won't shy from a bit of joking and banter. The car park is always full, especially on Sundays when people go in for the Sunday roast which if anything is a sign of a successful establishment.

The pub has a pool table at the back which is cool, although not much space around it which makes some shots a little tricky. There are a couple of banditts and a juke box. This means that the music can be different. The tunes in the juke box are good and have a wide range of indie type music. This pub is quite near the town centre and is popular with college students too.
