The staff are all lovely and friendly and very helpful. There was a large group of us and the barman brought our drinks over to our table. Also when my friend spilt his drink there was immediately someone there with a cloth to mop up even before we asked. They have a great selection of real ales on tap as well as a good selection of the usual lagers and beers. There is also a selection of food and snacks. I wasn't too impressed with the cleanliness in the ladies toilets but it was the end of the night. One of the nicest things about this pub is that there is no loud thumping music so you can sit and have a relaxing drink in a nice atmosphere and chat easily without having to shout to your friends.

Unlike in the London bars, this place is clearly about good friends coming out to have a good time. A great mix of the older and younger lesbian and a very friendly and un-predatory place. We managed to wander in on Karaoke night (score), and there's nothing about really getting a feel for the place when people are warbling bad pop tunes down a microphone. There was a nice enough selection behind the bar and a few drink offers. There's a large beer garden with plenty of seating, a main bar area with a dinky DJ booth and another room with the obligatory pool table and additional seating. Surprisingly, there's only one toilet - and all night I had no problem in going for a tinkle. I wish I could move this bar down south with me, but I can't. As it is open many nights, it makes going out a lot easier, and gives clubbers a wider choice in when to go. Most nights have free entry till a certain time, and even some nights where drinks are 'buy one get one free', making it extremely popular. There are themed nights throughout the year, and to celebrate this there is always something good planned to entertain. There is a great group of bar staff who are always friendly, and the doormen are also friendly and often helpful. When going here you are guaranteed a great night.

We just left in the morning and caught a glimpse, no acknowledgment, no good morning, he must know how bad this place is. Now seeing other reviews, this place has gone downhill over last 12 months.
