I've only ever gone to Reflections for a couple of things. I got colored extensions which were pretty good quality, but I had to keep putting them back in myself because they kept falling out. That's my only real complaint. Back in May I got a chunk of my hair colored blue. I think the girl who did my hair was Kelly? Or something like that. She was very friendly and we had a good time. She did a really good job as well. Like I said, I got it done in May and it is now September and my hair is still vibrant blue! Vibrant colors like that are hard to maintain and the fact that my only problem with it is that my roots are showing is a very good thing!! read more

I went in to have my nails done and not only did the lady botch my nails but she told me they were soak off nails when they were not which created a problem for me trying to get new nails. I went back in to the salon to complain and get them removed and they tried to charge me to have them filed off. I refused and the girl filed them off anyway but was very rough with my hands as well as condescending and rude. I will NEVER purchase anything from that salon again. read more

Probably the worst service all around. I went in with a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and I was wanting to go from brunette to blonde. I knew it was a big job but the lady assured me she could do it. 3 hours later, I had DEEP SEA BLUE hair and they refused to fix it unless I paid for another colors service. Not sure why they wouldn't fix it since deep blue obviously isn't what I asked for but needless to say, I haven't been back since and I advise everyone else to steer clear. read more

This salon is way too expensive for its hair cut and color quality. Everything is done very poorly. I had nice hair that was never colored before and I came to reflections for a cut and color....My hair came out fried and the texture of my hair is now rough. It is awful. Not to mention, the tanning beds are very old and out of date. They need to get new ones or they should stop charging so much to use their crappy tanning beds. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HAIR TO LOOK FRIED. Everyone that works here has hair that looks like a poodles....yuck. read more

I made an appointment for a new set and went in and they told me that they didn't have enough time to do the services I made the appointment for and then took off my nails using the wrong tools and that weren't even sanitized. Awful services and won't give you what you came in for. read more

Haley cut my hair. She did a fantastic job with the scissors. She took the time to make everything even. Its nice someone who can see symmetry and proportions. The price is regular for a guys hair cut. ($15). read more

Only had good experiences here. Gotten my hair dyed/cut here multiple times, and it's always turned out good.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating but I would not get another pedicure here. The non-gel nail color choices were very limited and the final result was disappointing. Toenails and cuticles did not have that fresh clean and well-attended-to look- skin was pushed back haphazardly. The tools and process seemed a generation behind and not effective-compared to most shops I have gone to. It took more than an hour with a lot spent using a too fine emery board type thing for callouses. I wanted to suggest to the manicurist that she go to the Grand Teton Mall in Idaho Falls and get a pedicure. I will be getting a redo at my first opportunity. read more

Staff is not flexible at all when it comes to expiring tans. Had tans that expired on the 28th of FEB (even though it was a leap year and thus the 29th was actually the last day in Feb) and they absolutely would not extend them even another day. If you want to keep customers you need to be willing to work with them, even if it is adding a measly day to expiring tans. read more

I just have to be honest on my experience with Reflections. I have never in my entire life have ever met hair dressers who don't know what their doing. It's a joke over there. The girl's who work there want to do their own thing. And clearly that's not acceptable at all. I have had my hair done three times with them and every time they have done it wrong. Like not just wrong but it's clear that these women do not know how to cut hair. I feel very strongly that they need to hire women who know how to cut hair and do it right. I have no problem paying the price if they know how to cut hair. I am just to the point that I will NEVER go back again due to lack of professionalism of being a hair dresser. Here's is the thing. You go to beauty college to 1. Cut hair and do it correctly. 2. You do not go to beauty college and treat someone's hair like it's a mannequin and think that their hair is a test dummy for you to practice on. 3. If I am going to pay you $35.00 then I except someone who knows what their doing. read more

So, I've lived in Rexburg for four years now and have went "Salon Testing." My favorite by far was the salon Form, but they recently closed their doors. Needless to say, I have been back to testing. I went in for a cut. I just wanted the bottom of my hair trimmed and my bangs cut. My stylist was Heather. She washed my hair and I'm thinking that this is pretty good except for the shampoo. I've always hated the smell of expensive shampoo. She honestly didn't do much to my hair. Maybe two or three snips to the bottom... but she's not very clean about it. She didn't even brush my hair straight or the way it was before. She just went at it. Then she cut my bangs. She dried my hair.... then she "attempted" to flat iron it. She just kind of tugged and pulled on my hair with the flat iron. She didn't even section it off or anything. I flat iron my hair every day so it was a little weird to me. She put a little product in and called it good. I have to say, she isn't much of a talker and my cut lasted about 20 minutes total. I take longer than that getting ready in the morning.... I went home and rewashed and styled my own hair. The haircut is okay. It was what I asked for... But I'm NOT impressed with the service. It was sub par and could definitely been better.
