Sunny Vu is AMAZING. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone in Idaho! My sister and I are visiting from out of town and just walked right in. She is super neat and quick with nails. Very nice and super gentle with the drill. I am usually super picky when it comes to my nails and never like how they turn out, but Sunny did so great that U had to come on and leave a review for her. She finished both our nails in efficient time and made them look just how we wanted them. I had grown out build gel nails that I have been wanting to take off for a long time. I was always scared because anywhere I went in the past they ruin my natural nail. My natural nails were getting super long and Sunny was able to shorten them and still have them look nice without braking any of my fragile nails. read more

Looooove this place! You definitely have to make an appointment though, don't be fooled by their "walk-in's welcome" sign. They ARE popular and they do book fast-ish. So I've been getting my nails done here for a while, they do a fabulous job on acrylics! Plus they have a ton of choices when it comes to acrylics! It's awesome. Recently I decided to take off my acrylics and go for Gel, so I removed them myself and got a pink manicure with a silver and pink flower ring finger. SUUUPER CUTE! I showed her a picture of what I wanted, we worked out all the colors, and she made my nails not as wrecked as they were. It was awesome and the girl is as sweet as can be! So every time I've gone in I see the SAME girl. Some day I'll update this with her name. She's the young one maybe 19-22 or so, she is just.... Awesome. Super sweet, never hurts me with the drill, always checks for bubbles. When I was getting my gel manicure she checked that I liked it each time she put my hand under the light. She is awesome. I can't say much about the other lady and the gentleman there because I've only ever sat with HER! Some day I need to put her name in here. Also attached is a picture of an acrylic fill she gave me and my pink gel. The fill is Pink and White with Glitter powders, this is not your basic acrylic french manicure. It costs extra because it looks better and it uses two different acrylic powders. She also did both designs for me free of charge! The other lady offers designs too, I would also imagine they would be free of charge as well. read more

Fancy nails does a really nice job on nails, I have to admit. However, the last time I went was incredibly frustrating. You have to make an appointment (they get busy and have 2-3 nail techs working at a time) which wouldn't be an inconvenience if they respected your time. I had an appointment but had to sit and wait for about 30 minutes before they even got to me. It threw off the entire experience, and I haven't gone back since. Either they need to hire more nail techs, or stop over-booking appointments. read more

I personally love getting gel nails, both on my toes and fingers. The gel stays on super good! I have mine on my toes for 3 months and it did not chip! Made an appointment for three people, but when we got there they had only wrote down an appointment for one. I think there is a huge communication barrier here that makes this business unsuccessful. It could thrive but there are never enough people working and with the language barriers...it must makes me want to walk out every time. I've come in here so many times and they couldn't take me. They do a decent job - not great - just decent. But they do it so fast that you don't even get to enjoy the "spa" part of the pedicure. I was in the chair and out in less than 15 minutes. Updated review... They do an excellent job. I've never had problems with chipping or bubbles in the acrylic or tips breaking. They have a huge selection of tips and polishes. The staff is pleasant. They are very skilled at nail art designs. They're pretty busy so call first thing in the day to schedule, or call the day before. They do always seem to run about 10 minutes behind schedule, but that isn't a big deal to me. They added a TV recently, which is nice. On the downside, the building / atmosphere isn't great. Not really somewhere you'd go to be "pampered," but if you're just looking for a good manicure or nail set, they're the best in the area. Their prices are pretty standard, maybe a little bit on the high end, but worth it. read more

Do not go there. I had been there in the past to get acrylics and wasn't very impressed back then, but decided to try it out another time. What a waste of money. I got gels nails and paid an extra 10 dollars for a "manicure" which literally only took like 5 minutes. It was a joke. I had to ask the lady several times to fix a couple of nails that she barely filed and left jagged. I'm sure some of the other ladies there are good and sweet, but I was not impressed with mine. She also got gel nail polish on a few of my fingers and when I asked if she could remove it, she said it would come off when I wash my hands, which it hasn't. Overall I was disappointed. If I am going to be paying 30 dollars plus tip, I want to have a manicure longer than 5 minutes and a good job done on my nails. read more

so unprofessional. i had a scheduled appointment for 2pm today and 20 minutes after i got there they said they'd be right with me. when the guy came up to me i gave him my name and he said my name wasn't in the appointment book. he began to question me and i had to show him on my phone that i called yesterday making the appointment. i walked 30 minutes to get there and instead of admitting to their mistake and making time for me, they asked me to come back 2 and a half hours later. when i made the appointment he asked what time worked best for me and i chose 2pm and while he was questioning me at the salon he told me he didn't say that and that there was miscommunication (even though the time was confirmed over the phone) instead of owning up to the mistake he made. i ended up calling lux nails after i left and they squeezed me in immediately and did an amazing job! i highly recommend going to lux nails even though they are slightly pricier. read more

What a horrible experience! I took my two girls in for a little pampering and all we got was a mess. I asked for the deluxe pedi cure and was astonished when they brought out a real cheese grater to remove my calluses and if that was not enough she then brought out a lemon zester! I guess she got the point that I was done when I yanked my foot out of her hand. These were not State approved pieces of equipment, these were true kitchen utensils. i have been going to fancy nails for about 3 years now, that's the only reason why i'm giving it 3 stars. the two gals have always done an awesome job, however now they have 2 new people there, for some reason they now only schedule me with the gentleman there, who seems really nice but not very good with customer service. the 1st time i went with him he seemed "rushed" and didn't put the nails under the light for very long( i just do a gel manicure), which the other gals always had me go 2-3 times after the final top coat was on, i had to ask for the oil on my cuticles, after i paid i asked for an appointment 2 weeks away and he said no just to call they have 4 people working now? i got kinda instant why do i have to call? he finally scheduled me, the manicure only lasted 2 days, i called back they did set a new appointment again with the gentleman, when i told him i needed the no lift on my nails so the paint don't lift, he told me the base nail polish was the no lift? really? again was rushed, he did put me under the light longer, again no oil, and he didn't charge me either. later that night all of the nail polish came off. all the other times i have gone there with the 2 original ladies did my nails my polish always lasted at least 2 weeks, so sorry not to go back again, but there are other nail specialist. read more
