It was a good start for my son but now the owner has a really nasty attitude and don't mind letting it to be known. And don't think to call parents to let anyone know that the child was not picked up but she doesn't have a problem calling CPS if you don't pick them up by a specific time. This is by far the WORST daycare in Douglasville. They sent my 3 year old home with urine running down her legs. I told Ms. San about it, she said well I told her to go to the bathroom. (like my 3 year old is responsible for her own care) They pick and choose which children to discipline. Ms. San told me that another child had been taking his shoes off and throwing them, then when my 3 year old picked up the habit from the little boy, now I have to pick her up. Ms. San has complained about my 3 year old crying while she was in the front office with Ms. San, while Ms. San was on the phone with a judge. I DONT KNOW HOW ITS MY FAULT THAT HER "post high school" teachers, with no children of their own, DONT KNOW HOW TO TAME A 3 YEAR OLD AFTER I PAID YOU TO DO SO. Ms. San called me at 11:54AM on 10/28 to pick up my 3 year old for crying, she called 10/26 at 12:40PM to get my child because she was "crying" and started throwing shoes because she saw another student throwing his shoes. Then she said since my 3 year old was crying and the teachers couldn't handle her crying, she said my 3 YEAR OLD cant come Friday or Monday but I still have to pay full price for both weeks. HOW IS THAT LEGAL? I know personally that that other child that was throwing shoes was not disciplined because he is my nephew. But "I" was asked to come get MY child. I'M SORRY... IF YOU HAD CHILDREN, YOU WOULD KNOW THEY CRY AND SOMETIMES THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. THATS WHY I PAY YOU TO DEAL WITH IT. Maybe if your teachers actually READ and TEACH children, they wouldnt be so bored throwing shoes. Especially when they dont throw shoes at home. I would understand if she was biting or bullying the other children like my 4 year old was getting bullied and beat up by the older "school age" kids there. AND THOSE SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN WERE NEVER DISCIPLINED or SUSPENDED from the program. I should not have to pay and watch my child myself. How am I supposed to get paid? They are in breach of our signed contract. There is no clause in their contract that states that a 3 year old is not allowed to cry. Bottom line, they make you pay for the full week, then call you almost every day complaining about your child, asking you come get a 3 year because their "fresh out of high school "teachers are INCAPABLE of doing their job. This is by far the WORST school in Douglasville. They have unruly children in the front office all day, which is ILLEGAL as well. By law, they are supposed to be in the classroom. But Ms. San picks and chooses which ones she want to put up with or not. Run from this place JUST LIME I DID! It is illegal to breach a contract and fail to provide a paid for service because you do can't handle YOUR PAYING JOBS! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY YOU then have to watch my own child all day. Bad BUSINESS practices. The next time they see me will be in COURT! Her only excuse for this treatment is " I GAVE YOU A DISCOUNT". WOW!!!!!! and on top of that, my 4 year old Pre-k student that I just withdrew also, has never once came home with any homework or classwork to show what they are doing in class. I asked Ms. San to see some of his work, she said they just play all day and thats why there is no school work. I asked if they had class dojo, she said she doesnt think his teacher uses it. Complaint begins w/ initial issue regarding my son being wet several days when I picked him up from school.I told the director, Erica, when I visited the school before enrolling my son that we had behavior issues, and were struggling to get him potty trained. She stated it was ok. They had dealt w/ other students w/ these issues before. There were several days back to back of my son's pants being wet when picking him up. One day, I spoke to the young lady sitting at the front desk saying that I needed to speak to someone about him being wet on more than one occasion. This young lady was VERY rude and as the person sitting at the front desk, did not handle it appropriately. I told her about the rude response and attitude and told her I would speak with the director. Before long I received a call from the director about the incident in which she told me "before I say anything, that was her daughter. The excuse - she is in high school, so I should understand, and that I should not have addressed her daughter, and was not to bring my problems to anyone but her. This incident was never resolved and carried over to later encounters. Due to my son's behavior issues this led to other problems. One of them was me being pulled into a "conference" in the front of the school during student drop off with another unsuspecting parent. I immediately withdrew my son, which was the beginning of February, and now I am having to run behind them about my tax form. Asked for form to be prepared. Went to school, no one would come to the door. Then called and asked for it to be mailed, in which, she did not want to even check to make sure my updated address was in the system that I had given her months ago. A month later, no paper. Was told in the last phone conversation, that the paper was mailed, and if I didn't get it 3 days later to call back for another one. 3 days wait for something that was supposedly sent a month ago??? Customer service seems to only be done correctly by the assistant director. read more
